We are staying in indirapuram ghaziabad.we were told our gas dealer is M/s Jadu Gas Agency Shahibabad Industrial Area.The behaviour of the agency is very rude.They complel the consumbers to buy cooking stove compulsorily from them.There is total anarchy.May IOCL independently look at this complain and rectify.

i sir i want to take a new gas connection, is there any complusury of taking a stove, and wat is the prise of gas connection.
Dear Sir

We are staying in Vaishali Ghaziabad.we were told our gas dealer is M/s Yadu Gas Agency Shahibabad Industrial Area.I booked Gas refiling on 15/12/2011 by [protected] number & iocl no.1310004 but no any Gas delivered at my Home again Complaint on [protected] dt. 22.12.2011 My complaint no is 246413 till time no action again my complaint. So please IOCL independently look at this complain and rectify.

Treat most urgent & rectify immediatly

        This is in respect to my gas connection (Commercial 19kgs) for which i had been requesting refill for past one week. From 17th April to today 28th April.

        Ideally this kind of connection should be addressed immediately and it was expressed to me on my first call that the same will be delivered in a day or maximum by next day. However, it has been more than 7 working days that i had been requesting to deliver the refill at my house address and no action has been taken till date. To mention additionally people delivering seek extra money for gas delivery appart from the billed amount and if not given they abnormally delay in delivery the next time gas is ordered.

        I had been getting the following responses for my calls:
        1. There is no stock available
        2. Please come and pick it up
        3. Currently there is no delivery at your area.

        I am trying to above telephone No. dated from 25-04-10 till date daily 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM for status our booking No. 6835, but phone always busy, I think both telephone No. always in hold condition Please look after this matter this is just for your information for taking serious action.

          Indane Gas — problem in refill cylinder

          I'm a LPG consumer (Customer no is K-18258).with M/S Kasna indane Gas service,Alfa-2nd Greater Noida U.P. Whenever I use to telephone to book a cylinder the person usually do not pick up the phone. Only repeated calls make it accessible. I have also make SMS for Gas booking. But still I have no idea when my turn will come. Now my Gas is going to end.
          Please do needful.

            My consumer No 00386, Dealer is Vir Gas Agency at West Mambalam, Chennai 600 033. I booked for a Refill on 27th March 2010. Generally, no proper response for telephone calls. Till 20th April, told it is in waitlist. Then, but told when contacted around 22nd April, that deliveryboy came but house was locked and hence not delivered. Of course such bluffing is usual and it is their practice perhaps to divert the cylinder elsewhere and give one reason or the other. Fact remains we are employed and could make ourselves available when they assure delivery. Subsequently in our periodically follows-up when checked, they told that delivery would be given on a particular date after 5 p.m. positively. Anticipating delivery, came and waited with no result. Similar is the situation four times, in fact applying leave etc and staying in the House and even confirming availability telephonically also. But no delivery. Then made a compliant to Cell, who intervened but no effectiveness on 26th. On 27th again contacted the Cell and the Area Officer for asolution. Even then there was no definite assurance of delivery. However, after repeated pleadings, finally delivered the cylinder, without proper challan for signature and return.

            The points are (1) why deficiency in service (2) why challan not brought (perhaps previous one misused) (3) while they said till 25th April one time house was locked, on 26th morning when call from Cell poured in, said twice the door was locked, which is not true (4) I take cylinder once in 80 days, and apprehend misuse of my quota resulting in for such delay (5) generally very rude in attending phones or giving the probable date of delivery (6) have to make number of calls every time incurring additional money (7) Seems NO proper control on Dealers and/or their workmen 8) Today's The Hindu paper corraborates the fear in my mind, a true position.

            Why NOT
            - IOC introduce booking, follow up and delivery prospects of cylinder through internet like in Banks, Railways etc; and
            - Investigate this harrassment to the customers,
            to protect the name and fame of IOC towards its social responsibility/obligations?

              I received my last on 09/03/10 and thereafter till now not received the cylinder delivery from Sanganer Gas Agency.

              My Consumer No. is 10102 and had booked the cylinder one month back but not received the cylinder despite of several reminders and personal requests to the delivery man.

              Kindly intervene in the matter.

              I have booked gas cylinder on 02/09/10 (my consumer no. is 16605) with Commander Gas, B-Block, Rajajipuram, Lucknow (UP), but till date i have not received filled cylinder on enquiry i have been told that delivery voucher of the said consumer no. has been issued from office on 26.09.10, it's our surprised that till date delivery of the cylinder could no be effected., kindly take action it is a regular feature with this agency.

                No responce, no action on Transfer Voucher [protected] issued from Vidhyabasini Gas Service, Mirzapur to Padmashree Gas Service, Ganeshgunj, Mirzapur for further delivery of LPG-Refills. Repeated requests and several approaches ro Mr.Agrawal of the Distributor M/s. Padmashree Gas Service, Mirzapur is passive, unbothered/uncared to consumers services. IOC-INDANE Area Office, Allahabad must look into the serious violation of norms.
                M/s.Padmshree Gas Service, IOC-Indana Distributor remained silence and unmoved inspite of reporting to them on 14/03/2010 for depositing TV No.[protected] issued by Vindhyabasini Gas Service, Mirzapur;The submission of documents not entertained even on 30/03/2010 as such those were sent by Regd. Post on 03/04/2010 upon inspection of my residence-proof on 29/03/2010. Since then no further action taken by Padmashree Gas Service, Mirzapur. My repeated approach/request was futile. They do not bother cosumers; no Customers Services. These are most unethical and unexpected from Public Utility Distributor of IOC-Indane
                Distributor is moneyed man - Field Officers are under its grip, not dared to disturb him
                It is almost three months going, No suitable step has yet been taken by Field Officer-in-Charge of Mirzapur, under The Area Manager, IOC-Allahabad against the Apeal against Ignoring the Transfer Voucher, TTV. (No.[protected] dt. 11/03/2010 by Padmashree Gas Service, Ganeshganj, Mirzapur, This Distributor is self-styled agent of IOC-Indane; They are not only rude to the customers but also treat consumers like Cats & Dogs - they deliver LPG-Refills at their own timings irrespective of availability of Stock. Whatever they say is Rule/Law; the Policy of IOC and Govt.of India regarding distribution of LPG is uncared. This reference to GEN. 13995.
                Distributor having free hand, letting loose by Field Officer, show muscle-power/purchasing power; Consumer Service/ Customer Care ? Not bothered!

                  Sir, I am Mrs. Ratnaprabha Sontakke, a handicapped woman ,my indane Gas consumer No. is A2420 at M/s Amita Gas agency Laxmi Ganj Lashkar gwalior. I Have booked my cylinder on 02/04/2010 by mobile but cylinder was not delivered by the agency, after 15 days again i have booked cylinder on15 April 2010,till date cylinder is not delivered at home. I can not walk again&again to agency for the quiry.in the hot summer due to my leg multiple fracture. Mr. Vinod Kumar the manager of the agecy was contacted on telephone but telephone is always out of order or he purposely putoff the phone and kept on the table . Every time he makes some excuses that load is not available or man power is not there or it will come tommorrow etc.I am Harrssed and facing problem without cylinder at home .
                  you are kindly requested to do the needful and take necessary action aginst the Agency so that thecustomer should not get harraassed and blackmarketing of cylinders to be stopped.

                    Sir,
                    I am an LPG consumer of Rashmi Gas (Indane), Kochi vide consumer No. 27969. I stay alone & use LPG very less, so whenever I book gas after 6 months, they say that the connection is dead. Last year they forced me to bring the re-activation recommendation letter from I.O.C. Head office Kochi. It is not so easy to reach & get cosumer care officer recommendation. Any how I submitted my request letter duly recommended by IOC to Rashmi Gas, now while booking for refilling over phone, I was informed that the connection is dead & I have to submit re-activation request. I already submitted one during last year is with them.
                    I am working in a cent. Govt. Office & it is not always possible me to go their office for submitting such a letter again & again.
                    While dialing local cosumer care help line as given by Rashmi Gas, no[protected] either It is found busy or ringing unattended.
                    Therefore it is requested to instruct M/s Rashmi Gas to distribute the LPG without ‘harassment’,

                    Indane Gas — harassment for refill

                    My dealer is VEENA GAS SERVICE, and consumer no is 10328
                    I have booked my refill on 26th May and till today . the 14th of June, I haven't received it despite my complaint at toll free no provided …[protected] …dated 6th June, ref no 124133. I called again twice in this same no to remind my plight at the hands of Veena gas service. When I talked to Venna Gas Agency , they tell me “no one was at home so delivery man has returned “..May I add that this is absolutely false statement and we were at home all these days.These people are out to harass me for the reasons best known to them. Previously also they have harassed me.This leads to substantiate that no one is listening and I will have to buy my refill from open market in black to keep the kitchen running.However I have not lost all hopes and I will shoot emails to all persons in the Ministry and even to Hon Prime Minister.

                      sir,
                      myself Mrs. P. Kumar residing at 27 A.I.I.M.S apartments, mayur kunj, U.P link road, delhi 110096 with my family. i have a gas connection with Madhu gas agency shop no. 102-103, 1st floor, vardhaman Plaza csc-2, mayur vihar ph-3 Delhi 110096. i booked my gas cylinder on 20th april 2010 at about 11:30 am. i confirmed also that my gas is booked by my consumer no. i.e., RG-8643. some lady from their side replied "yes" for the same. till 22nd april i haven't got the gas. Then i thought to remind them for the booking on mentioned no.[protected],[protected]. this time she said that my gas was not booked on my connection but instead it was booked on mrs Usha Sharma's name. on inquiring further, i was told that i have not mentioned the"R.G" before 8643 and it was booked to somebody else.
                      the same was happened 2-3 times before and was wrongly booked by the name o[censored]sha sharma and caused me lots of inconvienience. i am sure that usha sharma was related to madhu gas agency for which they were favouring her. Madhu gas was also known for doing black supply of gas. there should be some check on the agency. its my request to take proper action, so that no one suffer for gas any more.

                        i have booked gas cylinder from m/s amarjeet gas service east punjabi bagh market his employee told me to check ur gas chulla after that they will send the cylinder service charge rs 70 has company ordered to do the same that is his employee delivery man my connection no 15705 poonam dewan 167 dda flats jaidev park east punjabi bagh n d 26 ph npo [protected] tortued so many times with the same service charge before which is rs 25 only with regards look into the matter

                          My cons. no is 23431in Roy & Dutta Enterprises,13. Indralok, Sodepur, Kolkata 700110. I booked one cylender on 29.3.2010 through IOC Call centre bearing Sl. No.3852. Since the delivery was not made, on 22.4.2010 I enquired about the status with the call centre ( as because the employees of shop dont care to answer the phone) and surprisingly I was told that it was delivered on 16.4.2010. When I told the receptionist that it was not delivered, she advised me to contact the shop immediately.
                          Now the whole thing is clear to me . Last time the delivery boy had asked for extra of Rs.10 in addition to usual tips. When I refused, he threatened that if you dont pay you will face problem in the next time.And it is the next time!
                          I contacted with the distributor with no results. I wanted to see owner but I was told that he was not there.What else a senior citizen can do?
                          This complaint is being made on behalf of a lot of honest consumer who does not butter the delivery boy, with the hope that that matter will be taken up with this particular shop and the needfull will be done as the higher authority may deem fit and proper.

                            In my area (MEDAVAKKAM,Chennai)the INDANE gas agency is Sri Revathy Gas agency. 3 months back they delivered me a defective cylinder which once plugged started to leek. The next day i returned the gas cylinder but they did not replace me instead they asked me to pay for another one.

                            Moreover the delivery is not prompt and the delivery boys sell the cylinder to nearby hotels..They are delivering cylinders 20-25 days after booking. .

                            Today 22-Apr-2010 also they delivered me a defective cylinder...we did not receive the cylinder and returned back..The delivery boy abruptly scolded us and told he will bring the cylinder only after a week back.. I am totally dissatisified with their service. Since, the gas cylinder is a life and death matter i feel i cant adjust with the same ....

                            Please take this issue seriously and address it as early as possible

                            My Name is Charles Sebastian. I applied for a New connection in Sri Revathy Gas Agency in the month May 2010. Still now I am unable to get the connection. Whenever I am calling them they are telling it will take another one month. I asked the reason last month, they said, due to free gas connection offered by tamil nadu government we are unable to give. then This month I asked them. now they are telling that the Indane is not releasing order for new connection. I asked them when can I expected? for that they are telling that they can not give any assurance. Can you please take the action at earliest.
                            Indane Gas -Sri Revathi Gas Agency, Medavakkam is the most WORST in terms of customer service. We have been using Indane for more than 25 years in various parts of Chennai like Adyar, Mylapore, Thiruvanmiyur etc. None of the Gas agency was like this Sri Revathi Gas Agency.

                            Leave alone new gas connection, once you get the connection also, even to get a refill they make you call 100 times and they dont send the gas cylinders promptly.

                            May times we have suffered with empty cylinders.

                            Each time you call them, their number is always busy. after 2 to 3 days of repeated trying I once got ring but they did not pick. I went to office and was shocked to see them putting all phone receivers down to avoid phone calls. We cannot go to their office everytime for new cylinders right. WORST service ever by Indane agency.
                            Their lines are always busy, even if it rings no one picks up the phone. We have to try very very hard to get their lines and when they pick up they dont even speak for a minute. Just takes the consumer no and says ok; then immediately cuts down the phone. If this is the case then how can the phone lines be busy for hours to gether.

                            Some one needs to take action on this.

                            I agree with Deepa's Comment. Line was alwasy busy. I tried for the three lines. Even if it rings no one is responding. Its very hard to book the gas. Also the time taking to deliver the gas is taking more than one month.

                            We too face similar problems - line always busy, takes a month for refill, delivery not done and told us locked eventhough it wasn't and when asked, we were told to rebook.
                            Is there any forum where we can take forward these issues?

                                Gas Cylinder not supplied within the specified time
                                My name is NAZEER & Gas Cosumer No. 12696, We had booked a gas cylinder on 5th Of March 2010, But the cylinder is not supplied till 21/04/2010. I had asked the agency for more than 3 times over phone and myself went to the agency personally. but she said because of insufficient load they are avoiding some routs.
                                We are residing at Konchira near Kanyakulangara, Pothencode rout.and it is a main road not a byroad.

                                Please help me to get the cylinder as per seniority basis not according to the place

                                Indane Gas — Gas Cylinder not supply the specified time

                                My name is ANIL KUMAR & Gas Cosumer No. 33382, We had booked a gas clinder on 28th March 2010, But 20.04.2010 not supply the cylinder. I had asked the agency for more than 20 times as well as Mr. Satvir Par who is the delivery man of vasundhara Area, but he said your house was closed. this is totally wrong intimation. this information was given to the agency but no action taken against him nor Cylinder supply.

                                Please help me to supply the cylinder at the time.

                                I had booked a cyllinder on 25 Aug 2010, with M/S VISHAL GAS SERVICE, 11-12 Khodiyar Shopping Centre,Opposite Civil Hospital Near Ahmedabad Gujarat India.

                                My consumer number is 23180. Till date, the same is not delivered to me. When I went to the agency to enquire about it, they not replied me.

                                I request you to please look into the issue.
                                I AM CONSUMER NO: 21624 dint get the gas which we have booked long back been 23days d day we booked til update but Ur distributed is not supplying he is just postponing the dates day after day after dunno what is wrong with ur company and dutta gas agency is our distributor i think you have taken a wrong decision to take Ur company vizag hope u taken a decision and act on dis complaint even now v din get the gas .

                                VISHAL GAS AGENCY - (indane) — Not Booked For Refilling gas

                                i have last booked my gas refilling request on[protected] the company has delevered new refilled cylinder on[protected] than after 23 days i was going booking for refilling today the operator of agency not registered my booking he says come on[protected]. that for i didnot booked for refilling cylinder.

                                  I was gone in the bhiwadi gas agency at 3:30PM,16/04/2010 for booking my gas cylinder(Customer ID.NO.12438). they toled me your Gas connection was closed due to same another customer address. than i request him to open my connection.they toled me, his person visit at my Address with in one day & inspection all of nessesry document. But nobody come at my home in last four day. I am regurly contect with him But i do not get any Sufficent answer from GAS SERVICE AGENCY.

                                    INDEN GAS SERVICE Of (chandgad gas agency) IN MURGUD (TAL- KAGAL DIST- KOLHAPUR, MAHARASHTRA) IS VERY POOR HERE. FOR GAS BOOKING AND EMERGENCY SERVICES IT IS VERY HARD TO GET ANY RESPONSE FROM THE DISTRIBUTOR'S TELEPHONE. MOST OF THE TIME PHONE (NUMBERS GIVEN BY THE COMPANY ) ARE OUT OF ORDER. THE DISTRIBUTOR IS NOT PROVIDING HOME DILEVERY .AGENCY NOT PROVIDED SUFFICIENT CYLINDER. THE COMPANY SHOULD TAKE NECESSARY STEPS.

                                        This is to inform you that I , Manish Duggal have the Gas Connection of Indane Gas Service under Consumer No. BGS-20477 with the Bolina Gas services Jalandhar (Punjab). I had booked for refill my cylinder in the month of march in the above mentions distributors office. But after waiting for 10 days when my wife enquire the same by visited their place. they confirmed that it would be delivered within two days. but after waiting for a week when we hadn't received it , I personally visited their place and shocked to know that the Cylinder is delivered to me. i told them that i had n't recived it. then they told me for this you have to bring your customer card after checking if we found the cylinder is not delivered to you . then we will provide you the same. but i told them that you send your delivery boy if he found my statement correct then he would provide me cylinder because this is my third visit to get the services and every time i have to take half day leave from my office so why i should bear the harrasment for your negligence . then they said this is your concern not mine. but if you are not able to bring customer card then whenever we will get time we will send the cylinder. but all invain. again after waiting for five days i visited their place with the customer card and after checking the same they told that you will get the cylinder today. but after waiting for three days when i haven't recieved the same i visited again and when i have shown some aggression for kind of services they are providing. then the in charge of distribution centre did the drama by phoneing the delivery man that i ordered you thrice to deliver the cylinder but you hadn't did thesame so now within two hours deliver the cylinder and report me. after which we got the cylinder on that day.

                                        further ,I want to bring this to your kind notice that this is their regular practice by harrasing the consumer in below mentioned manners:

                                        a) Never pick up phone as it is always engaged.(for refilling we have to go personally at their place)

                                        b) Never Weigh the cylinder by delivery man.(as they claim that we dont have the equipment. if you want to weigh your cylinder then go to the distribution office.
                                        c) Specially in winters this is a regular practice after booking the refill when consumer didn't get the cylinder they have very simple excuse it is n't booked with us. we can book it now and you will get when your turn will come.(because they never provide you any acknowledgement against your booking).

                                        d) Thier treatment with consumers is very shabby as they are doing charity/favour by providing the LPG.

                                        i hope that you will look up the matter and check their supply and delivery so that in future consumer shouldn't be harassed by them.

                                        Indane Gas (LPG ) — Poor Service & Negligence

                                        I am a house-wife. I have seen a Gas Leakage problem since 14.04.2010 night after replacing new cylinder of LPG in my kitchen. I am trying to contact the given numbers by the agency but i can't because one number is switched off and another is diverted to such a number which is not responded.
                                        If any accident occurs, who will be responsible?
