Indane Gas — Cylinder Tampering issue

I wish to register a complaint against Aar Kay Gas agency (South Delhi,[protected] for delivering defect LPG domestic cylinders of Indane Gas. The cylinders delivered at my place (residing at Gautam Nagar) have multiple issues each time. I have to face broken seal, gas leakage, incorrect gas weight and related issues with the Gas Service provider.

Inspite of regular complaints with the service provider, they have taken no necessary step to rectify the issue and no help has been extended from their end.

This is a serious concern since many consumers in my knowledge are facing similar issue with the gas agency. I need to draw the attention of the concerned authorities to this issue and ensure no such happenings in the future. Need your support!

Indane Gas — Gas cylinder issue

Sir,
With due respect i am informing you that i have booked a gas cilinder on 03/03/2010 but till now they are unable to provide me the gas. Whenever i called up in help desk they are telling u will get the gas cilinder tomorrow or day after tomorrow (atleast three times i have called). Plz look in to this matter.

        My Indane LPG customer No.5412. I have registered with the Asiatic Oxygen Ltd, (the licensed Gas Supplier) 13/4 MTH Road, Padi, Chennai-600050. The LPG Cylinder delivery man one sh. Vairamudi is in the habit of misbehaving with housewife's who are happen to be residing alone by compulsion in their house. I have brought to the notice of the Gas Agency twice but fetched no fruit. Now I have applied for transfer to the nearest Gas Agency, Ma Kirupa Gas Agency in Mugappair for which the old Gas Distributor Asiatic Oxygen Ltd Manager accepted to transfer only after the expiry of 21 days. Is there any such standing rule for transfer after the expiry of 21 days. Since the above mentioned delivery man is of violent nature he should be removed from service for such a public distribution system.

        IOC / Indane — Faulty Cylinder

        Sir,

        Quite often i am receiving filled cylinder with leakage. I regret to inform you and kindly do the needful. This is a major problem of LPG. Please take necessary steps.

        I found my cylinder was leaking and your Emegercy Service Personnel attended the call and found that both the cylinder in use and the spare one were leaking. Kindly address the problem.

        I have had two occassions of cylinder leaking and despite lodging complaints there has been no response. Is there a way out?
        This is a complaint against Capt. Rakesh Sharama Gas Service Indane Maholi Road Mathura. On the receipt slip there is emergency numbers and customer helpline contacts are privided but none of the number is working i.e.(2363705 emergency no. & 2854749 IOC customer service cell). So not only me there are thousands of people who are suffering from the same problems and when i asked the complaint number from the agency he refused and then gave a number for compliant of agra and when i called that number i.e Dupty Manager IOCL SANJAY PALACE AGRA at [protected] he does not responded at all and i searched on net for contact details for complaint then i found customer helpline nos.[protected] on www.iocl.com but this no. is not in working.
        I personally visited the agency and booked a cylinder on 5/12/2009 he said that the cylinder will be delivered within 8 days but till today the cylinder is not delivered i am fully mentally harassed and need to know the rules and regulation regarding delivery of LPG cylinder Indane and want serious steps should be taken against this agency so that the people may stop suffering from these malpractices of LPG Gas Agencies and hope you will surely take some steps to solve out the problem.With great hopes i wrote this complaint to you and have full faiths that you will do something or other to solve out the problem.

        No persons at gas suppply office . Nobady responsible to book gas cylinder or deliver. No phone number working. Totaly only name board is there. all customers facing the same

        IOC / Indane — blacking of LPG cylinders

        This complain is against K2 International, Indane distributor (LPG) for IOC iin Sarita Vihar.
        I have been trying to get new connection and have all the necessary documents but the distributor gives me all the reason for not being able to give me a connection, he even sent me to "Bharat Gas" distributor saying that it is Indane new branch and when i complained back he said whats the difference...LPG is same.
        Upon pressiing he told me to come at 7am...when I did, office was closed but I could find couple of Hawkers who told me to get a full cylinder in black for payment of Rs 2850.
        I hope IOC does something on this issue.

        IOC / Indane — undue delay in recoupment

        I am an indane(IOC) customer since 1992. I have been in Ayanavaram Chennai 23 and my indane provider was M/s Sabi Gas Agency Ayanavaram chennai 23. since last August I have shifted my residence to Mugappair East Chennai 37 and the indane provider is M/s Ganesh Agencies Mugappair East Chennai 37. Since the day I selected the agency not even one month the emply cylinder is replace in 15 days as in the case of M/s Sabi Gas Agency Ayanavaram chennai 23. When enquired they say by receiving the second cylinder after 25 days of booking and booking for the next replacement after thirty days it is considered advance booking and we have to book after 40 days. Iam a paramedical staff (Nursing Matron) with the Ministry of Railways and I depend on indane for my cooking needs as there is no kerosene oil thorugh PDS. Please help me to get my replacement cylinder within 20 days

          New connection has given with exra charges and having compultion to take Gas Shegadi with new connection.Not regular supply Cylinder.on the oppose they Provides Cylinder to Vehicals Having LPG in Black at Rs.500/-(per cylinder).and also not given original bill to customer.

            Gas cylinder not supplied

            I am consumer of Ela gas agency (consumer no. 3591), Noida scetor 93. The agency is shut down and our connections were transferred to Kasna Indane Gas Service, Greater Noida. I have booked a gas cylinder with Indane centralised booking (Booking no. 146).

            After not receiving any gas I contacted Kasna gas agency on 25/11/09. I am yet to receive the gas cylinder and for past two days even none of their phone nos are working.br...

            I am a customer of M/S Vasantkung Gas Service New Delhi for Indane Gas but last 2/3 month we are facing problem to booked my GAS consumer no-17401 every time telephone never picked or it is intentionally put on hold,after that i have booked GAS through IVRS again GAS not supplied,to day i have booked through IVRS my serial no is 2 dated 04/12/2009 please make the arrangements to deliver my GAS and take actions to the dealer

              We have a Indane connection account no:39795, with Ohm Shakthi Gas Service, ID No:1055. Saidapet, Chennai.
              The cylinder received on 03/12/09 was badly leaking, and we are forced to keep the cylinder out of the home. The complaint attendent came and told us to sign a satisfaction form, which we denied.
              Now i have to take a leave for follow up of cylinder replacement and to keep the leaking cylinder, in my home without any safety.
              From the Indane website, i understood that the Indane brand value is Safe , Reliable, Convenient.
              In our case none of this fulfilled.
              We deeply dis satisfied in the way our safety is ensured.

                i want to attention about my problem with indane gas service in fazilka branch i have a connection with name sohan lal client registration no is 759.
                i book a cylender on 13th nov but still we are awaiting for their response they asking stock is not been coming as they sold the stock to market in black. when we asking for this then they misbehave use ugly words with us.
                this problem is not facing only by me its overall with all the clients so you have to requiest plz check this black marketing so that we have to control fast growing curruption.

                  Orient gas agency Kottarakara is over charging their customers. For a distance of 4 KM from the agency like like Neduvathoor they charge Rs 390.00. They should be delivering cylinders for an extra eight rupees than the godown rate within 15 KM of the agency. They are looting the consumers.

                    I am cosumer of Indane LPG with United Gas Agency, Sector 3 Sahibabad, Distt. Ghaziabad. I had have SMS to the agency for booking on 15/11/2009, however it was booked on 16/11/2009 but as on date 3/12/2009 the gas was not deliver. I also requeste on the universal toll free no. [protected] thrice but in vein. I have 18 years old DVC connection but offen facing problem with refilling the LPG United Gas Agency. Kindly do something.

                    Indane LPG — lpg refill

                    LPG refill booked on 14/07/2009. Not yet delivered till today, ie, 25/07/09(7:25 PM), even after repeated request for the last four days. tomorrow is sunday, the holiday. another excuse! request necessary action, please. my con.# 20091of calicut gas, calicut.

                    Indane LPG — Booking of refill

                    Sir,
                    I booked for a refil LPG cylinder on 01 Aug 09. The delivery was made on 24 Aug 09. At the time of booking the agency said that the delivery will be on 16 Aug 09. However the agency claims the delivery boy came on 13 Aug 09 and found the house locked so the booking was cancelled. I had to rebook on 19 Aug 09 for which the delivery was made on 24 Aug 09.
                    Now when I want to book another refil I am told as the time of 20 days has not lapsed from the last delivery the booking cannot be done.
                    I find this rule absurd, because the booking is done once we start using the second cylinder. In this case that is from 01 Aug 09. 32 days lasted from the time of the cylinder was put in use and is now empty. I feel the rule should be from the date of booking the next booking should not be earlier to 20 days, instead of 20 days from the date of delivery.
                    I request you to review this and issue favourable instructions.

                      Indane Gas — non supply of gas on ivrs booking

                      i booked a gas on 15/1/2010 via ivrs of indane on 1620(mtnl line) my booking no is 64. Gas was not supplied till 19/1/2010. A wasteful exercise. you have to on the mnercy of dealer. My dealer is Sharma gas company, Uttam Nagar
                      I have booked for gas cullinder on[protected]. My dealer Nataraj enterprises says the booking is not done. Even now IVRS says booking is done on 10th. Now who will pay for my struggle without gas cyllinder. Indane gas has to do some justice to me.
                      Dishonouring the booking through IVRS

                      I Booked my cylinder on[protected] through IVRS. My consumer No. is 40946 of HARI SINGH GAS SERVICE. Their previous deliveries were also delayed. And for this booking, I didn't get the cylinder yet.
                      And I booked again on[protected] through IVRS, But there is no response.
                      Please do something and take necessary action

                        This is to inform you that my Gas Cylinder is leaking since the past two days. However inspite of repeated alarm by phone (Emergency Numbers:[protected]/1581) and self visit to the concerned distributor (P.L. GAS SERVICE), I am unable to get any acquaintance from the distributor who has supplied the Gas Cylinder.

                        Being a customer of a Indane I believe it is the responsibility of a distributor to provide immediate assistance for such a serious issue of "Gas Leakage". Isn't "Indane" responsible for any mishap due to the leakage?

                        I am Soumyajit Bhatta. I am a consumer of Indane Gas being consumer No. FC49267. In persuent to booking No. 218289 dated 08.07.2011 I had got a filled Sylinder on 13.07.2011. gas was licking from that cylinder. I gave that information to the office immediately. Inspection made but the same has not been removed from the place till date. I had been adviced to keep the cylinder in the roof of my house or in a open place. Kindly take immediate step to remove the same. Apprehenstion of any accident is there and I don't want to take that responsibility.

                          MY COMPLAINT REGARDING LATE DELIVERY OF CYLENDER AFTER BOOKING.PRESENTLY I BOOKED MY GAS ON 23.11.09 BUT STILL TODAY 2.12.09 I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE CYLENDER.I CONTACT WITH AGENCY BUT THEY ARE SAYING THAT CYLENDER SHALL BE DELIVER ON 10.12.09.
                          PLEASE CLEAR ME, AS PER RULE OF COMPANY,WHEN CYLENDER BOOKED AFTER 21 DAYS OF DELIVERY OF PREVIOUS CYLENDER AND DELIVERED AFTER 17 DAYS.IT MEANS ONLY ONE CYLENDER IN 38 DAYS.EVERY TIME THIS THING IS REPEATED.LAST TIME I BOOKED GAS ON 20.10.09 A BILL NO.8570 MADE ON 24.10.09 BUT GAS DELIVER ON 31.10.09

                          Dear Sir,
                          I wish to inform you that we are resident of House no, 77,Ward No 4,Mahrauli-New Delhi - 30, and user of Indian gas . In our area SAI SEWA ENTERPRISES is authorized for Indian Gas (LPG -domestic uses) distribution. Our consumer no. is 15354.
                          I regret to inform that I have booked the gas 10 to 15 days before. Today is (30.11.2010) and I have not received the Cylinder.I have to pay double amount to buy the Cylinder from local people.
                          I request you to kindly look into the matter and make the services smooth. It is difficult for woman to run from pillar to post in the absence of cooking fuel needlessly.

                          I am Amudha Ramadoss bearing my Consumption number 04279 affilated with Meenakshi Agencies Mailaduthurai Nagapattinam dist.
                          Previously I have connected with Shivasakthi agencies
                          Ur concerns direct me to get connceted with this agency ie Meenakshi Maialaduthurai.
                          For the past 4years I could n't get 12 cylinders per year
                          Even we are not permitted to book in advance .
                          I have reported the same to Tiruvarur sales manager also.
                          Whether any provisions to book and remit for 12cylinders pay in advance
                          Kindly do the needful. If so I shall take DD in favour of IOC

                            Dear Sir,
                            I have shifted from Pune to Ahmednagar.During I have teaken transfer Form(FORM NO- LPG-A1) from Siddhivinayak Agency,Kothrud Pune.But Now In Ahmednagar,the Swami Samarth Agency of INDANE Gas is not recieving this Transfer Form(FORM NO- LPG-A1),as well as they are demanding confirmation letter (which is already avialable online) from siddhivinayak agency,Pune through us.Actually this confirmation letter is INDANE's internal document,which should be furnished by these Gas agencies only.
                            That's why I am suffering lot of trouble due to being customer of INDANE.
                            Please Help.

                            I have shifted form rajkot, to trivandrum.During I have tekken transfer Form from Kunal gas agency, Kalavad Road, Rajkot. But now the Transfer voucher is missing. So how to get the next process for getting the connection in trivandrum

                            I have shifted from Air Force Station Bhuj (Gujrat) to Madhyamgram, Kolkata.During I have taken transfer Voucher form Air Force Station Bhuj (Gujrat) on 05 Apr 2013 .But Now In Madhyamgram, the Shankar Gas Agency of INDANE Gas is asking for confirmation letter (They are telling this is not avialable online) .Then how I will get my connection in new place. My consumer Number is 20258(RK Dey).I have approch more than four times In Madhyamgram, the Shankar Gas Agency of INDANE .Actually this confirmation letter is INDANE's internal document, which should be furnished by these Gas agencies only.
                            That's why I am suffering lot of trouble due to being customer of INDANE.

                              sir,

                              I have made a request for the supply of gas on 19.11.09 to indane gas agency on telephone i.e [protected]. after four five days agin i enquired about the status . i was told that it will be delivered on satarday i.e. But no delivery sofar. I am trying to cintact on phone . This phone ever remain busy and after several trial even if it rings no one bother to lift. It is 02nd december 09 today, the same has not been delivered.may please do the needful.my consumer id is K7212.
                              The local supplier Kasna Gas Services in Noida PH II is in total denial of their poor delivery schedule, even if you are lucky that anyone attended your telephone call at the service center that you have been trying to place for many days, the answer will be that “you have not placed any order or you were not at home at the time of the delivery that is why you missed it”.

                              I am surprised how can Indane gas shut down a subsidiary (Illa) with out arranging a substitute and putting so much of pressure only on one out let, this shows total disorganization within Indane.

                                Sir,
                                Although my residence is just 200m away from my LPG distributor M/S Vaishanavi Gas Distributors, Dhurwa, Ranchi (Jharkhand) but I get the delivery after 20 to 30 days after the booking (which is 15 days from the date of delivery). ie a total of 35 to 45 days gappingbetween two deliveries. If you press for an earlier delivery, their anti social behaviour comes into picture. I hope to find your intervention in this regard.

                                This is so true !
                                I live with my parents at Vytilla, Cochin in Kerala and our gas agency is AJOY GAS. Most of the time gas cylinders are delivered almost 45 days from the date of booking. Out of sheer desperation, we book the next gas as soon as first cylinder has been delivered and the uncouth lady at the reception shouts that it is not possible to book the very next day after delivering. The manner in which she speaks befits a fisherwoman. One day, we too shouted back at the lady and warned that we'll complain about their agency. Immediately she apologized and said she will take care of the booking. But the lying had not even entered our request and we had to borrow a cylinder from the neighbours.

                                Decrease in the supply of gas may be the reason for delay but that doesn't mean you have to loose your civility and culture. Once, we confronted the gas delivery man and asked him what exactly is the problem at the agency, to which he replied, "Sir, if you want gas, call my cell no. I will deliver it within 15 days but you will have to pay me double amount of Rs.600/-"

                                Now, i am beginning to wonder if this is the reason for delay in gas delivery. The staff at the agencies may be selling it elsewhere for a higher price.

                                I request the authorities to do the needful in this regard. AJOY GAS agency at Cochin is making life increasingly difficult for the citizens.

                                I have been using this gas, supplying by the Agency named Krishane Gas, Alleppey Ph.[protected]/ 2245587, for the last 20 years. But I am facing very difficulty to get the gas on time for the last 4 years. This time I have booked for gas on 4th August 2011 and now it has passed 48 days now, but till date I have not received the gas. I feel that this Agency’s supply is very delay when compared to other Agencies.

                                Hence I request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful without any further delay.

                                  I am a common man from rural India live in Village-Nachipur, Dist-Hooghly, P.S.-Tarakeswar, State-W.Bengal. My house is 6 KM away from Tarakeswar Municiplaty. I am a voter of Tarakeswar Assembly constituency.
                                  That my father, Sri Sambhunath Kundu, a senior Citizen of this country, is a Perkinson patient with many physical disabilities. Timely food is required for him because he can take food only when he is ‘ON-STATE’ (a medical term related to Parkinson disease.)

                                  That I am repeatedly requesting for an Indane LPG Gas connection from the Dealer Gas & Novelities , now operating in Tarakeswar. But the dealer Gas & Novelities not giving me gas connection. They are telling repeatedly that ‘new connection’ cannot be given for Gram Panchaet area .Though they are currently issuing new gas connection to Tarakeswar Munucipality area. This scenario is going on last 2 years. In this regard I would like to add that previously connection was given to my Gram Panchet area (Kesabchak) as well as to my village Nachipur.

                                  That I have informed the facts & applied for gas connection to Sri D.K.Saha (State LPG Incharge of W.Bengal) on 17 Dec 2008 over email. I have also lodge a official complain by dialing IOCL Help Line No. [protected] & complain docket no. is 19329, a solution was given on 13.08.2009 at 3:04 Pm that “Get in touch with Gas & Novelities for gas connection”, and Gas & Novelities telling that they have not got any written instruction from Indian Oil for issuing new gas connection to me.

                                  In this indistinct scenerio I have called to Sri D.K.Saha (State LPG Incharge of W.Bengal) he clearly stated me that new connection cannot be given as my village is out of distribution limit of Tarakeswar Dealer(though previously 2years back connection is given in my village). Also he informed me that solution given in complaint number 19329 is wrongly understood by them.

                                  Please look into the matter and take necessary action in favour.

                                  In Regards with the captioned subject matter of complaint against ARIHANT INDANE GAS AGENCY . Sir i had applied for new gas connection on

                                  5th of Oct.2012 and Manager Mr. Sanjay received my all complete document and he said OK, we will call you when connection will start,

                                  but i did not get any call by him side till 15 days . After i had called to him and said sir what about my new connection which i had applied

                                  OK you can take it and come to office when i reached there than started formalities but meanwhile i asked Rs /Amount, he said its combo

                                  package than i asked what is in this package, he said you will get GAS STOVE+ COOKER+ PIPE+ REGULATOR AND ONE GAS CYLINDER and

                                  amount is above 5500/-, than i said but i need only Gas cylinder and other compulsory accessory, than he turned my connection file and said

                                  you will have to take this, other wise it will take 1.5 to 2 month and inspection will happened than report will go to Bhopal office . Than i had

                                  done complaint to DIST. SUPPLY CONTROLLER -[protected] than he talked and scold to him than agency manager Mr. Sanjay said ok come on

                                  Monday and you can take it, but when i went on Monday than he got meet to his Agency owner Mr. Vivek jain and he beat the bushes but did

                                  not come on point and said sir what is the problem in this package and may be you shall get late because you choose other way and showing

                                  Netagiri .

                                  How you do you know to DIST. SUPPLY CONTROLLER than i said i got his no. from media, than he said OK ... and may be you have to called

                                  this no. (DIST. SUPPLY CONTROLLER) again and again . Than i have gone next day than no one is ready to talk nor given me

                                  acknowledgement .

                                  Than i had called to DIST. SUPPLY CONTROLLER but he is out of station and than talked to Mr. Tiwari in Dainik Bhasker he given me the no.

                                  of Mr.Suraj kairo-[protected] and Mr. Riyaz -[protected] many time i had called 100 times over these two no. but no one picked my call and called to cutomer care[protected]

                                  but not responsible response.


                                  SO SIR I REQUEST YOU PLEASE HELP ME, YOUR ARE DOOR FOR ME WHICH I AM KNOCKING I FED UP WITH THIS EXERCISE .

                                    I was on tour and I was not at home for six months.My family stayed with my sister-in -law.Now I am back in Chennai.I applied for Refill at M/s Sabi Gas Ayanavaram chennai.They asked lot of questions and asked me submit Original subscription voucher, ID proof etc...I submitted all the papers along with a request on 24/11/2009.They informed me that they would be sending a mechanic to my residence to check .Till date nobody turned out.I request you not harass consumers and request you to supply refill at the earliest.

                                    Indian Oil- Indane Gas — Delay In Supply

                                    My customer no. is 28448 and Yedu Gas is the dealer in Ghaziabad who supplies us cylenders.
                                    For the past so many months his staff(Specially some women called Sushmita) have always tried
                                    not to give the booking number and tried to delay the delvery as much as possible.
                                    This time i had booked a cylender about 10 days back(again no booking no. was given) but till today morning it wasn't deliverred. When I called this morning, the same lady Sushmita informed that there
                                    was no booking. I got a shock of my life. On insisting today she gave my booking no.(6034) and told me
                                    that she was not sure that even after 5/6 days it will be deliverred.
                                    Will somebody take up the matter with Yed Gas agent? Please keep me informed.

                                      Sir my consumer no is 39179. I receive my cylinders from Rajasthan rajya sahkari krey vikrey sangh ltd, Bhawani Singh road, Jaipur.
                                      Kindly take note that the delivery of the cylinders is highly erratic and every time i need a cylinder i have to ring up the delivery boy umpteen no of times before i get it. Almost every time i am told by the agency people that my receipt was released and given to the delivery boy a few days back. I fail to understand the reason for delay in delivery after the release of the receipt.
                                      Just today when i enquired about the status of the cylinder i was told that the cylinder had been delivered to me on 21/11. which is completely false, as it has not been delivered to me todate.I have already reported this anomaly to Mr Ravi Jain, the incharge of the said agency.
                                      I would like you to take note of this continued harrasment and ensure that this kind of harrasment of the consumers does not continue.
                                      Hoping for a quick and positve action from your side.
