I am P.AJIT working in Neyveli Lignite Corporation and having gas connection with Indanedealer Gosaka agencies,Neyveli,TN for the past 15 years .Last week when I contacted the dealer to book gas cylinder he was demanding ration card for booking the gas. When I informed that I am not having a ration card, he wass demanding me to produce a no ration card certificate from Taluk office.On further asking he is telling that state govt,TN is asking for such certificate if ration card is not available with the individual for booking cylinder.This seems to be strange for me.Hence I request you to kindly check whether such certificate is mandatory for booking gas cylinder in Tamilnadu.Kindly take up tha matter with Indian oil Corporation and get the exact requirement for further action.

    Sir,
    I am one of the customer of Inden gas. My consumer no. is 8347 Our distributor is --- PAL ENTERPRISES in Bauria (Dist.- Howrah, W.B.). My problem is every time after booking they are not send the cylender in time although several times request by phone[protected]. Many times they are not receive phone call. My last booking date is 29.08.2009, till today (10.09.09) 2.20PM I have not receive any cylender.
    I have a single cylender, I applied for double cylender before six months but there is also no result.
    Please see the matter.

    Sir,
    I am one of the customer of Inden gas. My consumer no. is 27506 Our distributor is --- munirika, vasant vihar, newdelhi. My problem is every time after booking they are not send the cylender in time although several times request by phone[protected], 26189229,[protected]. Many times they are not receive phone call. My last booking date is 01/02/10, till today (07/02/10) 10:45 AM I have not receive any cylender.
    everytime times they given 5 kg lose gas cylender and packd the opener.
    Please see the matter.

    I am aconsumer of magadh enterprises gas agency kurjee patna .my consumer no -ht 7334 .i have booked for delivery of gas cylinder on dated 3.2.10. but till date i have not been supplied gas cylinder.ialso requested the areamanager ioc patna but of no avail.
    it is reqested to look into the matter for early supply

      We have two cylinders and the regulator as well.
      When I went to transfer the connection in late 2008, I was asked to get the voucher with the hologram. I tried looking for it, but could not find it. The agency should have told me that in the absence of the voucher there is an alternate process
      In June 2009, when I went again I was told that the connection has been surrendered. The staff and the owner were fairly indifferent. The staff also asked me to sign on a blank page, which I refused.
      Next day I met the owner and he showed me the photocopy of the voucher with my forged signature on the reverse.
      I suspect the voucher was never given to us in the first place and we thought that the book was enough.
      Obviously, the agency used the voucher to prepare the refund in cash having no records of who took the money. That’s surprising though
      You now tell me that the regulator number does not match. Well I have an Indian Oil property. Would your selves be kind enough to check – who was issued the regulator that I have and when was the regulator number written in the voucher?
      Please scrutinize all documents relating to this case.
      We would be happy to get all necessary papers that we have.
      The modus operandi is very clear and a proper investigation would reveal as such.
      In our busy schedules it would seem rather ridiculous that we will pursue the case to this extent. However it is not so much about the money but the fact of being fair and honest.
      In our earlier email we had mentioned all the numbers mentioned on the regulator. Let us know if there are any other numbers that refer to the regulator.

      First of all we really appreciate all the communications and follow up on your part .Thanks for your mail.But unfortunately this issue cannot be closed for us as valuable consumers of Indian Oil ………………….I was busy during the day hence could not reply.



      We have the Indian Oil connection book / Regulator / 2 cylinders with us which we have taken from Anushka.Rajiv Banarji is my husband and the address in which the connection is in our nerul address where we resided first and post which we have had gas delivered on our Belapur; Artist Village Address .We can show you documents pertaining to these (I am sure all our addresses will be documented in your records too ).In Dec 2008 Someone has forged our signature and taken our deposit money more than 3 years after we move residence from Belapur ( If some external party did it this it would be a really long gap ….. to wait and watch that our the connection still exists at nerul and gas was not transferred at our new address . ) .So it is quite probable that someone in the agency who knew about details of our connection thought we were not coming ever and took our deposit money in Dec 2008 .How he has managed the fraud without anyone knowing apparently is for you to investigate ……………. You want us to come to your office we are willing to do so… and get to the bottom of this with all our credentials / address proofs / identity proof .





      We are not aware how the regulator number is monitored at Indian oil ( whether the distributor gives it to you / or you record it when we get the connection( if so was it done instantaneously in a computerized indianoil record / documented mail send asap ) and who has filled the regulator details on the form on our behalf ( Anushka / or Indian oil and when exactly was the number filled ) ???? Was it recorded at Indian oil - if so by whom and was it on the DAY THE CONNECTION WAS ISSUED TO US or was THIS DETAIL FILLED LATER?



      We have a VERY SERIOUS and GENUINE case here and the explaination given below by you is definetly not sufficient to us as consumers to close the case without going into details of how the regulator number and the rest not matching with our story ( as this is now more concerning for us / and should be now a very serious concern for Indian Oil also ).





      Something is seriously missing here and we want an investigation on this as customers of Indian Oil .We would also be interested to know in whose name this regulator number is that we have in our possesion……… as you have all the records we are sure you can help us with that detail too. And how are we in possession of the regulator ????



      We would be very keen to know that…. How come we have a Regulator with unknown number / 2 cylinders / gas book which is not registered at Indian Oil in our name currently and has Indian Oil Stamped on it .We can bring it and show it to you .( I think this should be an extremely serious concern for such a reputed organization like Indian Oil where strict and good records are kept and is very stringent process maintained too ).How have we got the Indian Oil property ….. from Anushka or anywhere else (if Anushka is not showing our regulator number in his records)?



      IS the regulator issued to us with Cylinders in someone else’s name ………………….??????? Or the regulator number was put in our forms much later ??????????????



      Please let us know as this will prove further that Anushka is into much more deeper into fraud than we all thought initially.And this is probably the proof you have been looking for .We cannot give up the case as genuine customers we are even more concerned about the entire episode now.





      We would like to have a resolution to our case as we are genuine here and the more we are going into details looks like there is more complication here.Kindly need your help to resolve .



      We would really like to know how our regulator number does not match in our name and whose name is it issued on in your records and how has Anushka issued it to us …… ?????.I think this is a very serious concern for not us only but Indian Oil now and you should find out what is the fraud here and how do we have Indian Oil property (issued by your agency )specially when apparently our regulator number is not even in our name ……??????????

      Please also let us know if there is anyone else also we need to approach at Indian Oil also we are willing to do that too.This also is a matter of principles for us now along with our deposit money .

          Sir ,

          We are operating an account with The Punjab National Bank , Erode City ( Main Branch 0165 ) , Tamilnadu.
          We are dealers of Indian Oil Corporation and are operating an account with the aforementioned bank.
          We remit cash and transfer funds through RTGS mode to Indian Oil Corporation.

          The Officers making RTGS transfers are making error , which results in money not being transferred in time thereby delaying our supplies from the company and affecting our sales , and reputaion.

          Officials at the bank are not sensitive to the errors made from their end.

          In the last 30 days , twice error has been made by the bank officials while doing RTGS. This has resulted in Approx 5 lakhs rupees not being transferred for 2-3 days.

          I request you to address this greiveance withthe concerned officials.

            Indane Gas — Not able to book

            I was supplied indane gas on[protected]. Now, I am not able to book as phone of the dealer is always busy.

            This is to inform you the agony that our family need to undergo due to the neglected attitude of the Indane gas agency, namely Amar gas servce, Himayathnagar, Hyderabad.
            They have given us the option of booking for a gas throuh phone[protected],[protected]. But I have tried calling the number several times in the past since the past few months, to book for gas. Nut the call is allways engaged nad after making several attemots to call, it rings and no one answers the call. When tried to call again immediately, the line gets engaged.

            Hi All,
            Since 10 days I amm not able to book my gas on Phone.The Phone is always busy.But by chance if rings goes then they don't pick the phone.Govt have to take strick action those type of agents.

            I am a customer of Ranie Enterprises, Madipakkam. Whenever I want to book for cylinder their phone is busy. I have been continuously trying to book a cylinder for one week. Even the boys carrying the cylinders are not accepting the request. Moreover their cylinders have leakage problem and their response to our call due to leakage is very very poor.

              i came in mahendergarh dis trict NARNAUL in 2007 when i joined govt job her.i went office of indian oil for new gas connection but he refused to give me because he said you will have to buy gas stove also.but i heard somewhere that gas stove is not necessary.this harrasment .
              not giving new connection without gas stove i went office of kaptanganj indane gas service kaptan ganj kushingar up for new gas connection but he refused to give me because he said you will have to buy gas stove also.but i heard somewhere that gas stove is not necessary.this harrasment .

                  My distributor for home Indane gas refill agent is "Sri Srinivasa Gas Service", H.No. 8-6-747, Plot No. 233, Nagaruna Colony, Hastinapuram, N.Sagar Road, Hyderbad 500070. It is since past over 4 years we are not able to book home gas refill over telephone. Every time we had to spend minimum 2 hours to get the telephone line connection as it is always engaged. If Indane gas distributors have allowtted too many connections to the same agent, then is it not the responsibility of them to start new distributors? This Indane gas booking office is over 8 KM from my residence and it is not always possible to go to the distributors office to book for the refill personally, especially when men are on official tours and only woman with children is it not possible to travel 8 KM distance only for booking a gas refill. People near our house always complain that the agent simply keeps the telephone receiver off the telephone creddle to avoid continuous telephone calls. I am very unhappy about the extremely poor indage gas distribution booking system. Hope the Indane gas authorities open their eyes / ears at least now, or shift the service to a new booking office close to Meerpet locality for better service or open several additional telephones to the agent so that it is possible to access him in a couple of minutes time.

                    This re garding the gas dealer in my native , M/S Surabhi gas service,City Centre, Durgapur,West Bengal. The normal schedule beng followed by the agent is to deliver a cylinder only after 25 days of booking. Although in the neighbouring Kitchenmate gas service is able to provide cylinders within 7 days of booking.
                    This is a ploy by Surabhi gas service where the regular cylinders being diverted to the commercial customers and genuine needy home ladies have to pray for the gas to come. Also the telephone pick-up by the dealer is pathetic, Hope IOC will take necessary care to make the LPG service more consumer friendly rather that panic stricken situation

                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                      With great concern the following is submitted for your kind consideration and favourable action at the earliest.

                      I am customer of Sharma Gas Co. Uttam Nagar New Delhi since 2000. My customer no is 44217 and my SV No. is 2025987.

                      Recently on 28/08/2009 when I visited the Sharma Gas Co. I was surprised to know that my ibid gas connection has been transfered to another Gas agency (M/s Trimurti Gas Co.) in Vikas Puri without my consent and even no prior information was provided to me.

                      When I asked the reason behind this transfer, the staff (Mr. Deep Chand) behaved very rudely. He told me "We have transfered your connection as we got orders from Top". I asked him to show me the copy of order. He told "We are not here for this job" he also added "Once Indane is not listening our problems then why should we help you"

                      Sir, I am very much disappointed and want to know why my gas conncection is transfered to another agency without my consent. Further I request you to retain my ibid connection with Sharma Gas Agency Uttam Nagar because it is very difficult/incovienent for me to have my connection with Vikaspuri Gas agency.

                      I am ritesh i am from sajay enclave uttam nagar. my complaint is my house gas finish so i am booking gas number daily by mobile phone but your booking office not pick phone so sir i am very upset i am not call again, again.. so i request plz strick action your imploys against.

                        1. Extremely sorry to inform you that cooking gas delivery man from Pearl City Gas Service, Tuticorin-628005 is asking for a bribe every time for delivery of gas cylinder. The matter was discussed with 'Pearl City' manager Shantiraj (I hope this is correct name) at agency office but he also advocated for bribing the deliveryman.

                        2. On asking, he did not provide me owner's telephone number. At last, I had to go to Police station and verbally complaint about the whole affair. The policeman spoke to the Manager.

                        3. The gas agency manager and the staff are not bothered about the customer satisfaction and deal in unprofessional manner. This is astonishing and sad.

                        4. I request yopu to take action and inform me about the saME.

                          Dear sir,
                          I have book the gas M/s Snehalata Indane Gas, Lane-6, Amalapada,Angul. my Cust No:-7273 and booking no:-614 dated 28.08.2009. when i ring the phone they left and told tmorrow i will delivery. after repeted phone now agency owner told me i can't give deliver at ur home y can pickup form my goudan, and rough behever me and cut the telephone. M/s Snehalata Indane Gas agency beheveor is rough and told me i[censored] want to complain my head office bhubanswear.

                          sir i have a gas connection on my father name with consumer no-3459 at Paramveer Gas service at Bathinda Punjab. phone[protected] after booking the gas when i consult when the gas deliver at home they said that you have to collect from a specifiq location when i reached that location they said refilled cylinder was finished come another day next day i ask from agency then they replied thet you have to collect from the gas agency 5 KM FROM MY RESIDENCE .it is very difficult to collect as i am also an employee so for gas its difficult to apply a leave so please tell me whether supply of gas at home is agency duty or not if agency has to delivered at home then why we have to go to agency for gas

                            I have applied and get a reciept from our Local Indane Gas Distributor M/S Vijay Gas Service , Choutuppal , Nallagonda (Dt) A.P on 05.12.2008 for a new LPG Connection for my home.
                            The Registration No. What got from the Distributor is [protected].

                            In the month of July 2009 i have recieved a offer letter from the distributor thru register post saying that "please come and collect the new connction with in 15 days".

                            I went to the gas agency and asked for my new connection , he says pay Rs 4200 /- For All (Deposit ,Regulator , Hose Pipe , Installation Charges ,Administration Charges Etc).Then i asked him i don't require the Gas Stove. For that he asked to bring the gas stove of my own to his place and he will do the inspection. If the stove is fully fit then only he will give the connection.

                            In the IOCL web site it is clearely mentioned that the consumer can buy BIS approved Stove from any source.

                            Now what i urging you that please see that the LPG Connection issued to me at the nominal price of Rs1900/- with out Gas Stove.

                            soon after this negotiations held with our Distributor I Have made a complaint in IOCL Website and they have given me coplaint No.11765 but they have not responded so far ( Complaint made on05.08.09)

                                Sir,
                                I have a complaint regarding booking. On Monday 31st August 2009, the Indane gas dealer M/s Jainarayan Gas Service, Suhag Nagar, Firozabad has not booked my cycliner and said today is off due to any function at our home. We will book the cylinder tomorrow on Tuesday 01st September 2009. I said tomorrow is Tuesday that is your off day. Then they said we will open tomorrow for booking. Then on Tuesday I have gone to the agency. The agency staff showing me that see on the book let that today is off due to Tuesday.

                                Now as a consumer what I should do on this. Is this good to do this behaviour with a consumer. If a consumer is daily coming at agency in this hot climate and the result is nil..

                                  I am Manjunatha.H.V.
                                  My consumer No is 52118,
                                  I ama facing refquent problems & harasement in getting LPG cylinder every time.
                                  After several complints from all consumers & publics thers is no action has been taken against the Agency by IOCL and service delivery is detoriating day by day & downtrading bad to worst and hence consumers are facing problem & everyday.

                                  Consumres have raised n times complints and recently media & local dailys have covered this Agency bad services & malpractices but no use and IOCL has not taken any action for the same.
                                  Request all concrened to look into the same & take some action or cancel the Deeakership immediately.

                                  Looking forward for the better & hasselfree service from next time onwards.

                                    i am a consumer from puri dist.Here indane gas distributor provides sufficient gas to other hotel and a NGA foundation in every week. It can't provide us gas before 15 days from the complaint.It is a major distarbance that it provides the consusumer gas to this hotel & foundation.

                                      This is to inform you that I, Sri Koushik Ranjan Das s/o Dr. Tulasi Charan Das of Sai Balaji Apartment, 80+81/2/1, D.S.Lane, Flat: L <2nnd floor>, Howrah#711109, am a customer of INDANE since 06.10.1999 (at < 99196661>Sarenga Gas Service, Sankrail, Howrah). Due to shift of our residence to my present address I transferred the INDANE service under your Distributorship (ALADIN, 169, Andul Road, Howrah#711103) on06.01.2006.
                                      Please refer to your Form no. LPG 44 No. A040 – 43487 DTD. 06.01.2006 regarding the transfer of service to your end.

                                      I live here with my ailing senior citizen parents (my father is a dying patient of Cancer and my mother is a patient of severe Asthma and Osteoporatic diseases), my wife and my daughter. So one cylinder is not enough at all for monthly consumption for my whole family of five (5) persons. Often I had to manage it by kerosene stove and private expensive portable gas service like CLIX. Therefore now and then I enquired about the 2nd cylinder connection at your office either by telephone or by person. But each and every time I got negative answer from your end.

                                      Now it is not possible for me and my family to keep the consumption level into only one cylinder.

                                      So I request you today to arrange for a 2nd cylinder against my consumer no < 441714> at your end.

                                      As a valid customer of INDANE for almost a long ten (10) years {from 1999 to 2009) may I again request you to look at the matter with priority and treat likewise.

                                        I had booked LPG refill using the computerised gas booking system of IOC on 20/07/09.( Consumer No.1088, Divya Gas Agency, Karikode, Kollam, Kerala ). As the gas was not supplied till today(29/08/09), I contacted the agency over phone. The gas agency informed me that the booking has been cancelled by the IOC due to shortage of gas and that the agency themselves is booking my case as a fresh one now and that gas will be supplied within two weeks. They further informed me that all the computerised bookings have been cancelled and that all those who had contacted the agency directly were supplied gas. My fault is that I had not contacted the agency directly. I doubt it is part of a master plan to torpedo the computerised booking system.
