I have Indane connection, which I took while I was in Delhi. 6 years back I moved to Pune and took a new connection from Indane. My regulator from the old connection is leaking the Gas heavily and when I visited the Gas distributor in Pune he said that since it does not belong to his agency so he can not change. He is agreeing that its from Indane but not from his agency.

Now I have query from Indane authorities that if they will not change the regulator then who will change it? If something wrong happens at my home, what they will be doing?

    I am a customer of Indane Gas. My distributer is M/s. H S Gas Services, A-2, Oncenmore Flats, Krishnabaug Char Rasta, Maninagar, Ahmedabad - 380 008, Phone:[protected]/25465097, Owner: Mr. H S Sandhu, Mobile: [protected]. Distributor Code: 15429848.
    The gas cylinder delivered by HS Gas service on 24/03/2009 against order No. 6869 dated 21/03/09 found to have following defects

    1. While removing the the seal, the cock blusted off the safety valve heating the nose of my wife. The gas condensate on the safety cock too came out like pressure jet and striking the face and eye.

    When tried to contact emergency service call [protected]/[protected] (printed on the retail invoice dated 21/03/09), it is learnt the numbers no longer in existance. The IOC customer service call No. 26422277 to did not respond. Then tried to contact owner Shri H S Sandhu on his mobile [protected], but did not bother to take my call. Repeatedly he was switching off the mobile.

    Gas Leakage from the cylinder safety valve

    I am a customer my consumer no. 10007 of Indane Gas. My distributer is Ranvir Enterprises, 14 Aravali Shopping Center Alaknanda, Kalkaji New Delhi Phone:[protected]/26038994, Distributor Code: 9107273
    The gas cylinder delivered on 3/04/2010 found to have following defects

    1. While removing the the seal, the cock blusted off the safety valve heating. The gas condensate on the safety cock too came out like pressure jet and striking the face and eye. and no body pickup the phone.

    Today morning also I reminded the staff of Gas dealers. Till now no action in taken by the dealers. Earlier also the same thing happened. Staff Attitude is not good for custmoers Hence you are requested to take necessary action and solve my problem immediately.

      Dear Sir,

      I am the customer of BSNL with land line no.[protected]. I have paid my telephone bills for feb'09 & mar'09. But unfortunatlly I have lost the receipt.

      I am asking for duplicate or reprint of receipt, but your office is not issuing the same to me. They said this facility is not available.

      I don't understand why your office is not issuing same. I have paid the amt. and I just want duplicate receipt/ or reprint or any other report which says I have paid amt. of bills for feb'09 & mar' 09.

      Please accept my request and do needful.

        At first no response no pickup phone at the booking time.
        I booked for gas before 30 days at BD Market, Salt lake, Kolkata-700091
        and they told me the cylinder will be delivered within 15 days
        but no response till 8-10 days, this procedure continued every month.
        I am not only there are many customers to face this problem.
        I request you that please solve our problem.

          Sir/Madam,

          1. I have a gas connection, consumer No consumer No 3868 (Single Cylinder) with your company through your agency at Mambaram (Sree Muthapangas agency), Kannur (Dist), Kaerala.

          2. I book a refilled gas cylinder on 23 April 2009 through telephonically (Last refill was during November last or December 2008) as the same has not been received till the date and time. On enquery i.e 13 May 2009, there is no satisfied answer from the agency office and I submitt a written application to know the reson for delay the said agency has not been ready to accept the application as the office staff replied the propritor Mr. Dinesh is not available in this station and there is a standing order not accept any thing without my permission and accepted to arrive on 3.00 pm today.

          3. I again reached to the agency office at 3.00 pm sameday Mr Dinesh is not available at the agency office, I asked Mr Dineshs Mob No, they are not ready to give the Mob No, I frequently asked for the same then they give the Mob No [protected] on dialy there is no answer, as the mob No is not belongs to Mr Dinesh, I foundout the Mob No of Mr Dinesh [protected] form some other source and asked to Mr Dinesh about the agency office is not accepting my application Mr Dinesh on refused to accept the application, then I requested for to meet at his office then he replied that now Iam at my home is near to Peralassery, he was not agree to meet meas the distance from Peralassery and Mambaram is not more tah 2 Kms, finally I said that the matter going to very serious and I will move further steps then he replied that I have appoint a Advocate to deal such matters and you do whatever you can I will look the matter with my advocate.

          4. MY patients is delayed to lodge a complaint to the authoriy as such type of incidents are frequently happning.

          5. In view of the above you are requested to look the matter seriously and instruct the agency to behave gently we can understand the problems also delay in getting the refiled gas cylinder as the same delayed morethan three weeks.

          this is not the first time i got to know about the bad behaviour of the agency and their staff ..so many complaints already been lodged ..why we need such an agency? they are simply selling out the gas to out sources such like vehicles and hotels...

            I like to bring to your kind notice that we have been using Indane Gas for domestic use since long from our local agency named DINESH GAS AGENY located at Vigyan Nagar, Kota, Rajasthan.
            Please note that the bahaviour of the people of ageny including both the owner & the staff have been very rude, irritating & humiliating since long & we, the consumers, fells as if we are begging for our rights.
            I request you to kindly take appropriate action against these kind of agents at the earliest so that no more consumer can be humiliated any more in future.
            your early action will be highly appriciated & will bring relief to all its consumers.

            Sir,

            Even after multiple calls on[protected], 27722076, no one responds on the call and keeps on hold without responding for long time otherwise number comes Continuously busy for hours .

              Sir, I am consumer No. 9559 of M/s Sushma Gas Service, Mansarovar, Jaipur. the dealer is not supplying gas within 21/30 days. Neither booking is made within 21 days. Even suply is made almost after 35 days instead of 30 days automatically after long persuation. No complaint book is made available nor name and phone of higher officials of IOC are displayed. Even IOC phone ( Mrs. Dipika ) is responding. Please look into the matter as to why the company is creating problem through its dealer.

              Also to please provide us under provisions of RTI ACt the details of LPG cylinders supplied by the company to this dealer within last 6 months and the details with date for each cyliner supplied to each consumer by this dealer to enable us to put up the matter before competent court and central govt.
              For this any amount if applicable under RTI ACT may also be advised to me to deposit the same timely.
              Kindly expedit within 3 days for futher needful action failing which we shall be constrained to proceed before competent court of law against the officials of the company in personal and official capacity for harrasement and damages.

                Dear Sir/Madam,
                My aged parents staying in Camp Sadar Bazar, Ahmedabad have their gas connection with OMKAR INDANE, SARDAR NAGAR, Ahmedabad agency. With great difficulty you get their telephone as either it is busy or not attended to, on getting a number you are told that the gas is booked. Then you do not get gas cylinder at all and this process carries on. At times what happens is the delivery boys sell these cylinders which was for you to the illigal clients who are using gas for commercial purpose at higher cost. In this racket could be the gas agency owner involved nothing can be said.
                My ref no is OM - 07246, the gas was booked about a month back, the repeat booking was done about 4-5 days back. NO GAS SO FAR, authorities concerned is requested to help and rout out this menace of delays and have more transparency in this business.

                  I am a LPG Indane customer with KFCSC Gas Agency, Hebbal Bangalore and my consumer Number is 36619. I have booked for a refile and was committed to receive on 04 April 09, today is 13 April and still i get the same response that i will receive it shortly.

                  I am having single cylinder. I had booked for an additional cylinder 1 year back in KFCSC and prior to that 1 year in VV Puram Indane agency. Its totally 2 years since i have booked for the additional cylinder but i was made to understand there is already a waiting period of 3 years.

                  Please help

                    My name is J Sriram. My Indane Gas consumer number is B-18840. My address is 2-2-647/77/E, Srinivasa Nagar Colony, Bagh Amberpet, Hyderabad - 500013.

                    The name of my agency is Bagyanagar Gas Agencies, Agency Code - 7533581, 1-9-1122/10, Shop No. 16-17, KB Complex, Vidyanagar, Hyderabad - 500044.

                    As there was a leakage in the regulator, my wife took it to my Gas Agency for a replacement. He charged her Rs. 250/- towards replacement. On asking for a receipt for this amount, he refused to give her one - and said that there will be no receipt provided. He took a photocopy of my gas cylinder issue slip to complete the transaction.

                    Is this standard practice approved by Indane? Is it not IOCL's responsibility to replace a leaky regulator free of cost? In case of a charge to replace a leaking regulator, is it not the responsibility of the agency to issue a receipt for the amount collected?

                    Please advise.

                      Dear sir,
                      I am a 59 years old lady recently shifted to my Home-Town after retirement from service. I have applied for subject cited LPG Gas connection vide Booking No641 dt 18th Nov 2008 with LPG Agency at Nalagarh Distt Solan (HP). I have received Intimation letter regarding release of LPG connection vide Agency's letter dated 24th Feb 2009. I visited the said LPG Gas Agency alongwith necessary documents but I was told that Regulators are not available thus I was put to wait indefinitely. However, on my insistence the Manager of Gas Agency told me to purchase Hot plate/cooking range available in Agency failing which the Manager told me it is not possible to release the connection.When I pointed out to the Manager that it is clearly mentioned in Intimation letter dated 24th Feb 2009 that it is not obligatory on you to purchase the same from us.." the Agency Manager told me rudely if you want gas then deposit the cost of cooking range or forget gas connection.
                      Under the circumstances explained above, it is requested to help me getting me LPG connection.

                      Indane Gas — Non release of new gas connection

                      It is intimated that I am Haridas applied for new gas connection at Ennar Gas Agency, A.S. Rao Nagar, Hyderabad vide booking No. 1118 since last three month ago. But till date new gas connection not released by concerned agency. Due to this I am facing lot of difficulties.
                      I have no any gas connection please give me a new indane gas connection.

                        Consumer No:22760; Cooking Gas Agency, 3A, Malavia Ave, Chennai 600041.When we brought in a cylinder for use, we found there was a hissing noise.Gas smell was noticed.Complained to the gas agency at about 9 a.m. Service man came at 5-15 p.m. He changed the rubber washer at the cylinder neck. Leak continued He changed another and another five times !. He failed. Thereafter he removed the ring(washer) from the used cylinder and fixed it along with one more washer The regulator is more than 30 years old and seems rickety. Since the system could not be brought into service even by changing the washer with 5 new ones, I feel the problem may recur.
                        2. I have paid a deposit for the regulator as well as the cylinder. The maintenance of these is the responsibility of the gas agency; but I have been charged Rs 40/- for this. This is unfair. I request you to instruct the agency to refund the amount.

                        Indane Cooking Gas — leaking cylender

                        this is in regard to the complain about the poor service at SINDHU ENTERPRISES, POCKET A,23 A, DILSHAD GARDEN DELHI. I received a gas 3 days back and found the cylender to be leaking. i personally went to the center and made comlpin about it three times but it has not been tyaken care of. kindly see that it is seen as soon as posibile as it is very risky. the giirls at the counter are arogant.
                        please lok into it as it is bringing dis reput to the center.

                        Sir, atleast they have attended your compliant. in my case when i contact the emegency cell on sunday first they have given one contact No. when try to contact the same was not attended. again i have contacted emergency cell this time they have one more to complaint. This time 1 lady has attended and told who have give you this No. I am on leave do not distrub me. ( I do not know what problem they have in their office) again i contacted the emergency cell they have given another no of an servicemen, This time servicemen not attended only his wife attended. finally after 3 call my complaint was attended and he told the problem is of distributor and you should approach the distributor.the next day after so many efforts my leaking cylinder was replaced. Till that time i kept the leaking cylinder out side in open area. This is the way the emergecy cell of IOC providing service to their customer. Only god can save our country
                        INDANE gas cylinder delivered without cylinder washer and they have not even checked it by opening the seal of the cylinder.
                        Today dated[protected] at 9 AM our cylinder was emptied and hence the extra cylinder which was delivered earlier without any safety checks on 6-7-17 by Yeshaswini gas agency, Mahalakshmipuram, Bangalore was installed by my mother and within a fraction of seconds the entire kitchen and our dining started to smell with cylinder leak and quickly we noticed it and immediately we called a local person who has fixed the new rubber ring washer in the cylinder.
                        The negligence towards the safety of consumers by agency and company would have caused a serious damage to the entire family.

                          Dear Sir / Madam,

                          I hold Indane Gas connection for the past 5 years with Subscriber Number 24459 - this falls under Brindavan Gas Agency, LIG, BHEL, RC Puram.

                          I had booked for second cylinder in Feb '07 - but receive no response from them. Whenever asked, I get a reply that it will come next month. And to add more fury, last saturday (09/May/2009) they initially told that the booking stands cancelled. Upon asking for more details, they apologize and again give the same reply. Upon insisting that it was booked 2 1/2 years back, they say I will get a letter from Indane. They are also reluctant to give escalation numbers.

                          I have to everytime give my cylinder even not empty because it takes another 2 - 3 weeks time for them to replace.

                          Kindly look into this please. I know bribing would get things done, but am NOT towards it. I have seen my friends getting connections in 3 months time after booking. So am very sure that my booking is being misused here.

                            Dear Sir
                            On 13/02/2010 (Saturday) at about 4.00 P.M. I had come personally to your office and complained that the above the gas connection bearing the above said number is leaking since that morning, and I am personally making this complaint as there was nobody picking up the telephone when I called at your office. (Non answering of phone is a persistent complaint about your)
                            Upon taking my complaint, your office staff took my residence number and my mobile number and instructed me that a person will be send soon. I categorically stated that tomorrow being Sunday, someone should be send on Saturday itself.
                            However, no one attended to my complaint and no one even took the pain to call me and inform me that your complaint will be attended to shortly. However on Monday morning a person had called at our residence in the guise of rectifying the compliant, long after the complaint was lodged.
                            We had great difficulty in you, or your agent in not attending to our complaint on time. Such attitude of you, amounts to deficiency of service and caused great loss in terms of money and time to me and my family. Whenever I telephone, at 0484 – 2337590, 2337571, no one bothers to pick up the phone. Such an attitude towards the customers in unbecoming for a businessmen / service provider like you. Reserving my right to proceed in the matter legally, I firmly instruct you not to create such uncomfortable situation in the future.

                            Anand Gas Agency still continue to be unconcerned about the complaints of the consumrs . Their Gas refill supply is erratic, and the usual reply is out of stock or contact next week . Their contact telephone numbers are always engaged . Even if go to the office of the agency the concerned staff is reticent in telling the actual ssituation, and the problem of shortage .

                              मेरा नाम कुंदन कुमार है मैंने 2 अप्रैल को इंडियन गैस के शुभ लक्ष्मी गैस सर्विसेस a-138/3, विकास मार्ग, शक्करपुर, delhi 110092 नए कनेक्शन के लिए अबेदन
                              दिया था जिसका अबेदन संख्या [protected] और अबेदन देते समय मुझे बताया गया था की १ एड्रेस प्रूफ़ फोटो कॉपी और एक आई -डी प्रूफ़ की फोटो कॉपी और दो फोटो ग्राफ चाहिए क्यूंकि मैंने बताया की मैं किराये के मकान में रहता हूँ इसलिए उन्होंने मुझे बताया की आपको अपने रेंट अग्ग्रिमेंट की भी एक फोटो कॉपी देनी होगी जैसा की मुझे बताया गया मैं सरे दस्ताबेजो के साथ मैं गया और उन्होंने ने नंबर भी लगा दिया और जानकारी देते हुए बताया की अगले 15 दीन को बाद आपके पास एक क्न्फोर्मेशन latter आपके एड्रेस पे भेजा जायेगा और आपको उस लत्तेर को लेकर और साथ में आपको ३६६० रुपये भी लेके आने होंगे तब आपको नए कनेक्शन दिए जायेंगे और उनके बताये अनुशार मेरी पत्नी गई और साथ में वो सरे प्रूफ़ की फोटो कॉपी जो उन्होंने पहले भी जमा करवाई थी पर अब उनका कहना है की आप अपने रूम ओनर की आई -डी प्रूफ़ भी देनी होगी पर मुश्किल ये है की हमारे रूम ओनर यहाँ डेल्ही में नहीं रहते और ये बात उन्हों ने पहले भी नहीं बताई अब आप ही बताइए की मैं क्या करून आज मैंने उन्हें फ़ोन करके ये बात बताई भी पर वे ये बात मान ने को तैयार नहीं और मुझे गैस की बड़ी आवस्यकता है कृपया कर मेरी परेशानी कम कोई हाल निकले मैं आपका सादा आभारी रहूँगा आपका

                                Today at 22:05 hrs i reached IOC Retail Outlet to get my vechile filled by Rs. 500/=, RO lights was fully luxed and coz of that i entered RO. 1st i got my debit card transaction approved and reached to fueling point for fuel and got the fuel. but when asked for air pressure their attitude was indifferent and show thier incapability to honour my need, i said u just activate the same and i'll do the same but their PSU attitude didn't allowded them. I requested for compliant book but they started talking like that they have done something great by fueling my car at 22:10 hrs as thier RO is operational till 22:00 hrs. If case is like that then whay they have entertained my resquest for fuel at 22:05 hrs. RO blently refused for complent book as it goes under lock & key after 22:00 hrs. As per my understanging customer has liberty to use services round the clock.

                                At last i approched company Sales Offier and again his attitude was not customer friendly. I[censored]rban customer is not satisfied how can we persume rural they are addressing rightly. Reliance / Essar has proved thier worthyness in past but againg circumsatances has not allowed to continue for long.

                                Are we living in the world of customer delightness of British raz.

                                My submission is for change in PSY official attitude atlest

                                  I am Indranath Ray, consumer no:KS23090.Myself is a 10 years old customer of Indane gas.Our gas pipe connecting cylinder to stove is replaced by your below mentioned dealer in less than 01 year ago.The portion connecting the stove is geting cracked and we are ourselves cutting and changing it and now it became very short.
                                  Inspite of our several request to your below mentioned delaer over phone for last 10-15 days nobody bother to visit us and change the pipe.Please advice who will be responsible incase of any accident?

                                    I am consumer of Kandhari Gas Service, Plot No.A-63, Pocket-00, Sector-2, Rohini (Ph.[protected] & have lodged complaint for gas leakage in their cylinder (computerised thru Tel.1260) twice(Last complaint No.1 dated 5th May 09 & Complaint No.3 dated around 30April09 ). My consumer No. is KT-975, Add:140, E-4, Sector-7, Rohini, Delhi in name of Rajender Kumar Jain. But Nobody cares for response to leakage comlaint. This has been happening for last 3 years (delivering leaking cylinders due to walve problems). I have complained earlier in this forum only, but no improvement in their behaviour.

                                    I am consumer of Kandhari Gas Service, & have booked (computerised thru Tel.1260) refilling several times (Last booking No.12 dated 10th April 09 ). My consumer No. is KT-975, Add:140, E-4, Sector-7, Rohini, Delhi in name of Rajender Kumar Jain. But Nobody cares for delivery. This has been happening for last 3 years. I have complained earlier in this forum only, but no improvement in their behaviour.

                                      I am residing in New No 2b, Old No 9, Vasan Street, Perambur, Chennai 11. I have approached the Indane Dealer Prakash Gas Agency, Indane Gas Distributor, No 1, Dimmasamy Durga St, Sembium, chennai 82.
                                      But the dealer is insisting to purchase Stove from him and demanding to pay Rs.3, 650/- towards the total cost for the stove with single Cylinder..Pl confirm the cost of Cylinder together withpipe and regulator.

                                        I m gurvinder singh working as mechanical engineer in Hero Honda Motors Ltd, Haridwar has encountered a problem during petrol filling at IOCL retail outlet situated at IIE SIDCUL, BHEL Haridwar.
                                        At 2:30 PM on 5 may 2009, i have visited the outlet for getting petrol of 100 Rs for my Motorcycle . During this course of action i had given 1000 Rs note to the salesman and asked for remnant . Salesman returned 400 Rs and refused me to give another 500 Rs . The managing staff has also supported him . When i have asked for the bill and complaint Managing staff refused to give the same

                                        The Indian Oil petrol outlet at Makarpura, Near Akashvani (All India Radio), Vadodara; is not providing the correct measure for the amount paid, thereby fooling customers and hence degrading the name of Indian Oil.

                                        Even the nearby Shell Outlet (which is a private petrol outlet hence the petrol cost is more there) manages to get good customer liking and preference but not the Indian Oil outlet.
                                        Dear sir,

                                        Regularly i fill my two wheeler at singaperumal koil, Near ford india, chengalpattu IOCL retail outlet, there were not filled up petrol for exact amount and they were doing some malpractises in metre also. If any anybody asking that the malpractises they threatened the public. So please take action against the same.

                                        My name is Jaila singh.i am staying in "Fathepur"village teh.jhunir s,srdulgarh(Mansa)

                                        i would like to draw your kind attention towrds consumer outlet which is working as Retail outlet of Indian oil.


                                        Consumr outlet are only meant for particular society and are not allowed to sale diesel or potreleum products openly. They can sale potrleum products only to the members of society nd the peopls cover under that society. .They are selling petroleum products to every one which is illegal.
                                        Senior authroties are also noticing this thing bt not paying attention towards that.

                                        Consumer outlet dont have any driveway but they hve made that one too.
                                        That consumer outlet harresing farmer by taking huge intrest rates and providing benefits to the landlords on behalf of farmers.

                                        Nobody is paying attention towards this sp pls i request you to please pay your kind attention towards this problem and let the farmers free from this harresment and do their business legally.

                                        Indian oil is not paying attention towards this problem because according to them its a remote area bt thats nt true .

                                        Plz help us outpoor farmers
