Dear Sir,
I am a research scholar at IIT Roorkee and applied for LPG Connection after my marriage & shifting to marriage hostel.I applied to M/S Roorkee gas Service, Rorkee for connection and after getting connection they charged amount Rs. 3659/- for acceccories like Security of Cylinder, Rubber tube, Regulators & other charges of inspection etc. Meanwhile they charged Rs 1600/- ( in 3650) for the compulsory purchasing of Gas Stove (Hot Plate) whose actual cost in market in not more than Rs. 800/-.
Kindly let me Know is it neccessory to purchase hot plate by service provider? If not? than who is looking for this?
Please let me inform about suitable steps in this regard.

    Dear sir,
    I am the consumer of Indane Gas registered at Gauri Enterprises shop No. 48-49 Dada Dev Shopping Complex, Dada Dev road Palam New Delhi 110045, vide consumer No. 42322. The cylinder supplied by them is always weight about 24kg to 27kg, number of times it is reported to the gauri gas but no action has been taken. Today 24 Feb 2009 also I have received one cylinder vide voucher no 9793 having Cylinder no. 76891 S, suppose to have weight 31.3kg but it has only 26.5kg. Please do the necessary action and advise me for necessary next action.

    I am a consumer of indane gas registered at gauri enterprise, on 6 oct 2021 I ordered for a refill of my cylinder and received it on 8 oct... Since we have shifted from the earlier place so I was not present at the time of delivery and thought that the cylinder will be full.It only lasted for 9 days and now it's empty what should I do, we are paying 900 for 9 days gas your suppliers are cheating their customers, . My customer id last digits are 3176.kindly resolve my query at the earliest.

      Dear Sir/Madam
      There are thousands of family member are Indane gas consumer of Vindhyavasini gas agency, station road Buxar . I would like to tell about very poor service in supply of gas cylinders and very harsh in their response .There is a very pathetic situation of gas supply by that agency . It is a nightmare for consumer to get a gas cylinder. The dealer taking illegal advantage due to sole distributor of gas cylinder. The public is being taken for a ransom. Customers have to literally either beg or fight with them or each other. First of all they never deliver gas cylinder to room. Every one has to go personally to book. People may be seen qued in numbers outside gas warehouse. Secondly, after booking and lapse of 3 weeks time, the dealer did not deliver the gas. They always tears about less supply of gas cylinder by company but They always black market the domestic cylinders to commercial establishment for more than 600 Rs And put the domestic supply in trouble. If you want refill without booking you pay 600 Rs. or more or you will wait for two or three month.

      I would like to draw the kind attention of concerned authorities towards this and i request them to take remedial measures. I think to solve these consumers’ nightmare problems stern action like rejection of dealership of Vindhyavasini gas agency should be taken. By looking rising number of consumer the no of distributorship should be increased immediately . Consumers should be saved from the monopoly of dealer .

      Kindly solve our problem at the earliest.

        SIR,
        I AM USING INDANE GAS BOTTLE SINCE LAST 40 YRS. THIS TIME I AM REFILLING FROM ANUJ GAS AGENCY INDANE VADODARA.
        MY CUSTOMER NUMBER IS 7941.
        15 DAYS AGO ON 9TH FEB 09, I HAVE REGISTERED MY BOTTLE FOR REFILLING. AT THAT TIME THERE COMPUTERS WERE NOT IN WORKING CONDITIONS. ( EVERY MONDAY THIS IS HAPPENING FROM SINCE A QUITE LONG TIME) .

        NOW THEY ARE TELLING THAT THERE IS NO REGISTRATION MADE ON UR NAME.

        SO THEY ARE DELAYING THERE REGISTRATION OF REFILLING AND AS A CUSTOMER WE HAVE TO FACE THAT THING.
        NOW I HAVE NO BOTTLE IN MY HOUSE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

          I am authorised customer of Indane Gas with N.D.Gas Service, Bara Virwa, Kanpur Road, Lucknow. My Cunsumer No. is 29135. Agency always make problem in the booking of Gas Cylender. Last time I have booked the Gas Cylender on[protected] and they supplied the cylender on[protected]. Now I again tried to book the gas cylender today dated[protected] but it was my utter surprise that agency has refused to the cylender and they told that booking can be done only after 21 days from the date of last delivery. This is a clear case of harrasment to bonafied consumer of Indane like me. As such the matter may be investigated and agency may be directed not to harrase to bonafied consumers. In this connection it is also pertinent to mention that atleast we have to waste 4 to 5 hours over telephone for the booking of gas as always engage tones come.

          I am authorised custumer of indane gas with mahendra gas, nagod dist-satna.
          my consumer no is 636. agency always make problem in the booking of gas cylinder. last too times i have booked the gas cylinder on 15-3-9 and gas delevered on 26-3-9 .next 20-4-9 and gas delevred on 1-5-9 in which i heve given writen complain to my dealer but he is not responsiong. I have treid to book the gas cylinder on 5-4-9, but it was my utler surprise that agency has refused to the cylinder and they told me that booking can be done only after 22 days from the date of dellivery.and he booked cylinder on 20-04-09 and given delivery on 01-5-09. now on 12-05-09 i treid to book the cylinder but the same ascuse have given and told me that we will book your cylinder after 23-5-9.

          Dear Sir, we the lepra society, Junlep Junagarh, indane gas consumer no.LS-177 under Lankeswar Indane Gas, Junagarh, Kalahandi, Orissa have booked for supply of 6 nos. of filled gas cylinder on 11.6.09 but the on 23.7.09 we have been supplied only one filled gas cylinder very difficultily. Tha above problem is happening withus repaidly even at complaining at the agent. Therefore we request you, please do necessary arrangements to avoid the above problems.

          I write complaint before 7 - month.and received letter from Indane gas authority with m.no.[protected] of sales officer Mr.Nipane ( Yavatmal) for contact in case difficulties in getting refill cylinder, I had contact 2-3 times with Mr.Nipane but he is also unable to rectify the service of distributor.After complaint they give 2-3 delivery regularly.after that delay in delivery after booking.

          Now, I received last delivery on 14th Nov 2009, I have booked for refil on 7 th Dec 2009 and till today i.e. 23 rd Dec 2009( total 39 days), they have not supplied cylinder.now my both cylinder are empty, what can i do?After complaint this position is going on.So please take seriously action.

          This is my second request to Indane gas authority to take necessary action against the said distributer whose service is very poor for all of consumer of wardha city.

            I am a customer of Indane Gas in Kosli (Haryana) with Sahid Surender Singh Gas Agency, Last Saturday I went to the distributor to buy a gas pipe which had a price tag Rs. 170, but they asked for Rs. 190 when I asked for a bill they start abusing me and suddenly they start pushing me out of their office. When I tried to call the Regional Sale Officer Mr. Navalkar on his cell number written on the booking window I founded that that number ([protected]) is not available.
            So please help me to advise that what can an Ordinary Man (Aam Aadami) do??????

              Sir,

              I am a registered Indane Gas consumer with consumer no.KL25753 registered with Kalka Gas, Kalkaji. After booking a gas cylinder, the gas cylinder is not delivered even after a fortnight. I have booked the cylinder personally more than 15 days ago. They wrote my consumer number on a rought register as the lunch time had just started. After a week, I again booked the cylinder on computerised no.1260. Till now, I have not received the cylinder. The result is the second cylinder has also become empty.
              I do not know the calous attitude of the agency for the last six months from when they are complaining of short supply.

              I request you to kindly look into my grievance.

              Our Indane Gas Agent M/s. Tanushree Gas Service has giving poor service to us. We have been booked gas 20 days back but he kept us in dark all these days saying that the gas will be delivered to us within 2-3 days time and when we strongly protested against it today, he is telling us that our gas has been booked today only.

              We afraid he might be delivering the gas to some people who make more money without properly booking the gas and taking it on cash payment basis.

              Look into the matter and get the corrupted punished for that.

              With reference tohe above i have booked Gas Cyliner on 18th June 2009. Yesterday i checked and Cylinder has also got supplied to distributor. But distribution person Mr.Raju / Mr. Prakash is not responding for delivery to my house. He is telling you come to distibute place and take delivery from there itself and he is talking money the same Rs.350/-, He is delivered to near my house for the same amount. Just 100 feet of my house they are delivering cylinders. But i don't know what is the problem to delivering to my house.

                My service provider is "Purwanchal Gas Agency Sh. Dara singh rakesh Vishwesherganj, (taxi stand) Ghazipur, up[protected] 2221106 [protected] Vipin Kumar [protected]@yahoo.com"


                The Gas provider does not provides me the gas with seal . The Cylinder does not even last for 15 days .
                Normally the cylinder used to last for one month . I have to buy two cyliders in a month .
                As a Practice the Passbook is taken from customers and a slip only on the paper is given . The person
                providing the gas at home does not brings the gas with seal .

                I see a clear fraud of stelaing the gas and providing only half filled gas cylinders .The person directly complaining against him is warned that the cylinders wont be provided to him if he complains.

                Is ther a way that these claims can be verified without knowing the identity of the person complaining .

                  I am in Chennai.Whie trying to replace the cylinder I noticed that theregulator was not fitting properly and gas started leaking.
                  I contacted the gas agency - Sabari Gas- and received no response to the phone call, perhaps because today is Sunday and they are not expected to attend complaints.
                  I sought the help of Just Dialservices to get the Indane emergency number, which was given to me as 26258245.I have been trying for the number for sometime now and find that the number keeps on ringing and nobody attends the call.
                  I dont know what to do...and what your office can do in response to this complaint.

                  I have the same problem happened today when I call them to inform my refiled cylinder have the gas leakage through the thread of brass attachment.
                  The Gas cylinder sounds water and got suddenly stopped. Called to the no. for assistance to The indane Gas but no responce. the no. which was printed in block in the payment bill to call for the leakage and etc was also not working and no responce..

                  Gas agency we are contacting is Banjara Gas Service and has the worst service even for anything, it can be a emergency or a booking for a gas they never respond the call.

                  What is the use of having distributors and office where they can never feel a responcibility towards service and least bothered about anyone's lives..?? Feeling like suing all the distributors n agencies
                  We are facing the same problem today in Pune. Late evening, fresh cylinder, leaking and none of the emergency contact numbers of the agency or of Indane Gas given on the receipts works. The response from the only number that worked was "wrong number". The even worse part is that IOCL corporate website does not list an emergency number ! Great set of professionals they have at IOCL !!

                  Finally using justdial services we got through to a Indane person and his response was a question to us "what should be done since all in your gas agency would have gone home by now ?"
                  Very Poor attitude by so called Emergency help line members.

                  We always insist our delivery guy to check (mostly, gasket leak) for any leak at the time of delivery, Usually, he is busy and says everything is perfect,

                  Today (23.11.11) during a refill change, we noticed a heavy leak and called all the listed emergency nos. in Chennai, by the Indane site (M/s Pattammal Gas Agency & M/s Prassanna Gas agency) and our dealer's emergency contact no. (Ganesha gas agency, chennai).

                  As expected, the nos. were either switched off, no response or not reachable.

                  Thanks to Indane, we had no breakfast and packed our children to school with bread, butter and jam.
                  I also have the same problem.I contact Emergency cell number and the distributer phone number on yesterday(27/11/11) and today. They have no response. I don't know where to contact for this complaint. I need a cylinder immediately for my cooking purpose. My gas agency is Rajesh gas agency, Madhavaram. Customer no is 29518.I tried to convey my complaints through phones., But some numbers are ringing and noone is responsing. In few numbers are in engaged tone.

                    dear sir,
                    when we had gone for refilling the gas for our omni maruti van, we were distracted by showing about the offers if we get gas filled for rs.500.
                    in the meanwhile, we were cheated gas of rs.200...
                    to check this itself, we had gone for the second time for refilling, even this time the same thing happened...

                    who has to be held responsible for this ????

                    can we expect any actions on such things from your side????

                      I am a customer of Indane Gas. My distributor is M/s Rani Bagh Gas Agency.
                      I have a long pending complaint against the above gas agency. I believe they have only so-called one working number that also constantly busy. We have to go personally for refilling request.

                      A week befor m mothere booked through automated number 1260 .Recorded message gave her 10 as our booking no. So far we have not received the cylinder. I am not aware whether it really works.Toda i have made abooking again and the computer gave me number 36.I dont understand how it took the boking when we had alread booked the gas last week, last month also we faced a similar problem and they said your gas was never booked on automated booking facility.I had to go m self for getting iot booked.If ever time we have to go personall and craete afish market witrh everone poucing on each other what is the use of automated number 1260 and whatis the use of their phone number when we can nevr get that. One thing motre i would liek to inform that in the automated facilit the computer is taing the wrong number which we have 27156444 which is wrong number.

                      Kindly look into the matter and try to resolve ASAP. You will find many complaints against the above agency on internet.

                        Sir, I belong to Mukerian Distt Hoshiarpur PUNJAB, I living in Chandigarh. I realy shocked to see the system created by local INDANE LPG GAS Agent holder Sh. C.B.Singh in Mukerian. He issuing the new connections to only that persons who will pay the amount Rs.4400/- to 5000/- where as the total cost of the filled cylender is Rs.1250/- plus regulator for Rs.150/- only. He povide gas chulah forcely worth Rs.750/- as printed as MRP. and a unbranded non ISI gas lighter aprox. for Rs.50/- he does not give the packing of lighter to see the MRP of the same and he also provide an apron maximum for Rs.50/- as no rate displayed for the same. There is total price of the connection is only Rs.2250/- only. I went to his office for a new connection for my parents he demanded Rs.4450/-, but giving a receit only for cylender and a regulator i.e. total for Rs.1400/-. I demanded the bill of gas chulla, gas lighter and apron, but he refused to issue a bill for the same. I said that if your are selling something your have to issue bill, he replied i can issue connection. I have to come back without connection. I know that he was a very normal person in the town now he is the richest one in the town with blackmailing and such type of loot. I hope to solve the matter immediatel and provide the another agency to the town. If this loot could not be stop i think nobody is resoponsible and the public of india is still slaved by a few people.

                          My Name Is Rakesh Dubey, S/o N.P. Dubey. I am a Customer Of M/S Shubham Gas Agency, 9/8, Ushaganj, Indore, Part Of Indane Gas Company My Customer ID Is 43787. I want To Say This That The Shubham Gas Agency Not Providing Any Type Of Customer Services. I am not satisfied with the services provided by that Company Because They Apply Daily A New Rule To the Customer Which Is Senseless. They Also Not Providing any Type Of Home Delivery Services Although In The Gas Dairy it is Mentioned That They will Provide The Home Delivery. I Am also Paying the Home Delivery Charges But they are Not Providing The Service. So Due To these All Problems Me And My Family are Facing a Lot Of Problems. So Tell Me Your Answer About this Matter On Urgent Basis Otherwise I'm Bounded For Further Action And I Can Also Knock The Gate Of Customer Forum.

                            I have LPG connection of Indane Gas with Agency Arjun Gas Agency at Naranpura, Ahmedabad. The delivery boy came to my residence to deliver refill bottle . The bottle was without safety cap . The deleivery boy also refused to weigh the bottle. I tried to complain at IOC customer service number provided on Bill. It is very sad to report that executive on the phone talked very roughly and did not realise the seriouness of situation . During our five minute conversation he only tried to prove that all was my mistake and instead of helping me he ordered me to put down the receiver. At least at customer service/ care centre, there should be a person who is willing to serve or care the customer and not only doing Government job.

                            Respected sir,
                            I am the owner of referred gas connection . As per the instruction from the gas agency I can book a new cylinder after on completion of 21 days from the last delivery . After booking the gas agency 10 days for the delivery . If it is calculated then I get a new cylinder after one month . If the booking regulation stand for after the 21 days of the delivery in that case the supply is to be made within a or two so that I get the cylinder around 21 days from the last delivery .
                            I there for earnestly request kindly to arrange and instructed the agency to deliver the cylinder within 2-3 days from the booking date after 21 days.

                              My consumer number is 1727, with Siddhartha Agencies, Putli bowli, Hyderabad

                              It is very difficult to book gas with the distributor since his only phone number for booking[protected] is always busy. It is a herculian task to book refill. There should be some other way of booking and confirmation of booking through SMS or more lines should be added to this booking number.

                              There are thousands of family member are Indane gas consumer of Vindhyavasini gas agency, station road Buxar . I would like to tell about very poor service in supply of gas cylinders and very harsh in their response .There is a very pathetic situation of gas supply by that agency . It is a nightmare for consumer to get a gas cylinder. The dealer taking illegal advantage due to sole distributor of gas cylinder. The public is being taken for a ransom. Customers have to literally either beg or fight with them or each other. First of all they never deliver gas cylinder to room. Every one has to go personally to book. People may be seen qued in numbers outside gas warehouse. Secondly, after booking and lapse of 3 weeks time, the dealer did not deliver the gas. They always tears about less supply of gas cylinder by company but They always black market the domestic cylinders to commercial establishment for more than 600 Rs And put the domestic supply in trouble. If you want refill without booking you pay 600 Rs. or more or you will wait for two or three month.

                              I would like to draw the kind attention of concerned authorities towards this and i request them to take remedial measures. I think to solve these consumers’ nightmare problems stern action like rejection of dealership of Vindhyavasini gas agency should be taken. By looking rising number of consumer the no of distributorship should be increased immediately . Consumers should be saved from the monopoly of dealer .

                              Kindly solve our problem at the earliest.

                                Sri Krishna Gas Service Rewari - for cosumers of shri kirshna gas service it challange to book gas deliver by phone. i am a consumer of sri kirshna gas in more than five years i never succeed in booking gas booking on phone. i have to leave my work for booking gas delivery in person on gas service.

                                  (Our cust no: 6323). At 10 am two days ago, on 17/2/09, my mother phoned the Sainik agency, Thrissur to inform them that the regulator could not be fitted onto the fresh cylinder, after many attempts by several persons. They immediately sent a person, who also failed to attach the new cylinder. He then started hitting the regulator with a hammer, at which time I told him to stop since it was dangerous.
                                  Since then my mother has phoned the agency many times, and each time they assure us that a replacement cylinder will be sent to our house with a few hours, definitely on the same day. But they are simply lying to us, as no delivery has been done so far.

                                      Sir/Madam:

                                      I am in possession of 2 cylinders from Paruvelil Gas Service, Chengannur, of Indane Gas. Their telephone numbers are 2453675 and 2450835. My consumer code is 26789. I have booked a gas on 13th of January 2009, booking number is 3488. When I called up the agency, they are not able to give any proper reply when we will get the gas booked. It is now more than 30 days.

                                      This problem of delay in supply has been going on for a year now. We have two cylinders but there is no benefit for us. Further, we do not have any other facilities except the LPG.

                                      Even when there is shortage as per the local gas service, the LPG cylinder is freely available in the market at Rs. 150/- extra. Is this also being supplied by the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. company? I would request you to answer this question and solve our problem at the earliest.

                                      Also, is this the correct forum to address our complaint or please forward us the correct e-mail address and the name of the person to whom we should address our complaint to.

                                      IOC / Indane gas — Delay in supplying the LPG cylinder

                                      Iam a resident of Bangalore , with Consumer no. CA 46532. The LPG is provided to me by Cauvery Indane Agency at K.R.puram, Bangalore. I had called up the agency on Oct. 8th'2007 to deliver the LPG. it has been one month and yet the cylinder has not been delivered at my place. Each time I call up the agency, they give me some or the other excuses.

                                      This type of service is least acceptable by customers with only one cylinder. As the agency is located at a distance, it's my sincere request to open up a new agency at a near by place so that customers are not put to trouble .

                                      Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. — INDANE LPG GAS CYLINDER

                                      The Gas connection No. 2885 in the name of my father BAL KISHAN GUPTA of M/s. DSCSC Ashok Vihar, Delhi-52 was got transferred (due to reasons best known to Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.) to M/s. DHRUV Gas, Jhandewalan vide Gas connection No. 8654. Since transfer of abovesaid connection to M/s. Dhruv Gas, the cylinder supply to us got delayed sometimes it got 20-30 days that is too on giving 2-3 reminders call. The gas booking office is located 7 kms. away from the residents of Tri Nagar whose gas connection got transferred by the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. despite KIRTI GAS of Indane is located in Tri Nagar itself.


                                      We have booked a gas cylinder approx. 25 days ago but till date no cyclinder supplied to me.

After 2 days i went and they told to come after 2 days. In the mean time i had shifted my residence to the newly transfered place at Dhaligaon BRPL Township, Assam. I had also send a letter on 19.01.2009 by speed post stating that the cheque or cash may be handed over to my friend namely Sh. D. S. Kutty. I had also given authorisation letter to Sh. D. S. Kutty, but till date i have not received any refund amunt. Kindly help me to get this amount from the above mentioned dealer.
