The owner of GOLDEN GAS in Palam Vihar is a guy called Chadha. He comes to the office only at 2 pm, so thereis no way to contact him before that. His mobile phone No is a closely guarded secret. If you meet him, you will be forgiven if you mistake him for a truck driver. He has evidently missed his vocation - from his vocabulary and his behaviour, it is obvious that he would have done well behind the wheel.

I have two gas connections - 8141 and 8142. The second one was given to me as a special case when I was at the National Defence College in 1994. Last week I received a letter from the agency accusing me of having multiple connections in different names. The letter bore no date and was unsigned. What was worse, the address on the envelope read VK Gupta, instead of VK Singh. The letter warned : "If you do not surrender the connection your supply will be totally stopped and action will be taken against you as per the Gas Control Order. The Company/Distributor shall ahve no option except to intitiate legal action gainst you & you will be responsible for the same.'

I tried to tell him that the second connection was not obtained by me surreptiously. It was given to me by Indian Oil. I have since been transferred to 5-6 stations and used the connection at all my postings. He was welcome to confirm this from Indian Oil. Of course, if it they decided to withdraw it, i would have no hesitation in surrendering it.

What i object to is the rude behaviour of the manager. He is uncouth, unkempt and rude. The fact that there are 250 complanits against him on this site was news to me. Why must we suffer such people?

When I initially moved here in 2004, I found his cylinders were underweight by 5-6 Kgs. When I threatend to report the matter, things improved. But the practice continues. I am sure many others will vouch for this.

    DEAR SIR,
    I AM WORKING IN B.S.N.L KODAVASAL Xge AND Having a GAS Connection (consumer no: 07970) in NATHAN INDANE GAS AGENCY, NO.59, EAST STREET, VALANGAIMAN, PIN-612804, THANJAVUR(dt), TAMILNADU.I Booked a cylinder through telephone(to[protected] on 18/11/2008 10:30 hrs, and was informed by the gas agency, the cylinder will be delivered within a week time. But the cylinder is not delivered till now (29/11/2008, 20:00).Later i come to know my neighbour got the cylinder (consumer no: 2406)through door delivery on 28/11/2008, 11:00hrs by the same agency which is booked on 23/11/2008, 10:00hrs.I Personnaly contact the nathan gas agency thro phone and ask, "i am waiting for the past 11 days but my neighbour got it within five days from the date of booking".They DONT give any explanation about this fraud activity.This is not the first time. More frequently i suffered by this nathan gas agency by the same kind of activity. They should be punished for this ugly activity otherwise the sufferer will be the puplic.convey the remedy.

    Sir,
    My consumer no 32485 with Niranjan Gas Ajancy Vidhydhar Nagar Jaipur, I booked my gas on 12 Dec11 & Whenever I book the cylinder telling that will get after 40 days even after 40 days they do not supply the gas till today they have not supply telling that you will get tomorrow.
    Kindly tell after how many days I can get refilled my cylinder and take the necessary action against the ajency.

      we had booked our gas from our indane gas dealer from our kadirenhalli, bangalore dealer, shreyes agencies, every time they are taking to delivar the cylinders more then 15 days, even the delivar date in the bill will be 15 days back dated, please look into this dealer, if no action is taken we will be forced to go to consumer forum

      it is to your kind information that i booked gas cylinder nearly 18days ago in tucs gas in allendur chennai-16.my cosumer no-9714.two times asked in direct and through phone severel times.the response is sent sent.but never delivered sofar.1st they replyed in just ten days then 11th jan.again on 16th they said sent.we were tired of waiting on 16th.asked in direct also.but all in vain asking.they are simpy playing.hence i kindly reqest you to take action on both incharge of tucs allendur and opretor in computing.

      it is to your kind information that i had complained in allendur tucs for gas at chennai-16(o[protected] and 18) regarding gas leak in regulater for the past 3months.they never turned back.then i phoned to[protected] from where a lady without telling her name asked my nearest gas agency.then sent a man from vijayakumar agency from pammal and found gas smell in regulater.but till now no one turned back sofar.

      I like to draw your kind attention that I booked gas cylinder on 19.12.2008 in North End Gas Centre, Jessore Road, Barasat, Kolkata-700124. My cosumer No.is 12728. I paid at least six visits to the Dealer's shop from 25th day of booking but, every time they noted my Consumer No. and told me that the Gas Cylinder would be supplied within a day or two.On 27.01.2009 I met the Incharge of the shop who opined that he had nothing to do.
      I would, therefore, request you kindly to do the needful and arrange to supply me Refilled Cylinder immediately apart from restoring regular supply.

      I am a customer of Indane with customer no ks-8032 and have been register with K2 International, 255-A, PKT-N Sarita vihar ND-76. I booked my gas cylinder on 13.2.09 through centralized complain position 1260 vide complaint no 06, no delivery has been made by the agency. I visited their office on 6.3.2009 no person was there on counter only one gate man note the customer no and told you will get in 2-3 days. When I have not get delivery up to 12.3.2009, I again visit the agency office on 13.3.2009 I request to man sitting on counter who told me you have not booked any gas, I also request him to book the same. He booked but no complained no given me and told you will get it within 3-4 days . I still not get any delivery of gas cylinder.
      I request concern authority look in to this matter and make necessary action in this regard. I solicit you to provide me with the action taken to address the problem and prevent such deficiencies from happening in future.

        i am consummer of indane having my customer no. 2086 with M/S SECULAR GAS SERVICE, SECTOR:11, Panchkula, code[protected].Tel.[protected], 2585676.As per norms i have to book my refil after 21 days of receiving the filled refil and supply is to be insured by the gas agency in 2-3days. But in these days the gas agency is taking 15days to supply the refil after 21days booking viz i am getting the refil after 36 days.Inspite of double
        cylinder connection, i am facing the problem of shortage of cooking gas. Please look in to matter.Thanks.

        Indane Cooking Gas -Indian Oil — Delay in Supply of Gas

        There has been substantial delay in supply of Gas by Verma Gas Agency, F-6, Paul Market, Mandawali, Delhi 110 092 (Tel:[protected] &[protected]. Booking of Gas is accepted only after 20 days of delivery. Again supply is delayed by more than 5 days. Thus it takes around a month for supply of a cylinder of gas.
        I have got two cylinders with no purpose being served as both the cylinders remain empty some time.
        I approached to Verma Gas Agency and he refused to accede to my request telling that it is beyond his powers.
        Could the Indian Oils please intimate the reasons for delay in supply of cooking gas.
        My consumption of cooking gas is one cylinder/20 days.
        I have been using the Indane Gas for long time and have never had such problem and think probably it is due to the Verma Gas Agency's behaviour.
        May kindly streamline the position so that our regular supply of cooking gas is maintained.

        We had booked our Gas Cylinder on 29th January,12 with M/s Sri Ram Gas Agencies. Till now we have not received the Cylinder and non of the numbers of the gas agency is not working.

        On 5th March,12 I received an SMS stating " Dear Inande Customer, against your refill booking 210390, cash memo 158 generated, cylinder shall be delivered shortly" but till now we have not received the same.

            I received a new lpg connection conformation latter from I.O.C.L via sridharpur co-operative bank ltd( a dealer of iocl/lpg) in my name before a month ago. But They (sridharpur co-operative bank ltd) are doing many kinds of rough behaviour with me and refused to give me the connection.

            Please give me suggestion and help me to get the connection as soon as possible.

              complaint against Indane GAS LPG service

              I m a consumer of Indane gas. My consumer no is K16094 & the agency Name is Kasna Gas agency, Greater Noida. I had booked for a cylinder (online booking ref no 4, at 8:46pm on 14 Nov 2008) but till now it is not Delivered at my home. Also their phone is impossible to get....

                Hi iam a regular customer of IOCL i alway fill petrol in the same bunk and the same pump(Gun) every time when i visit to Anjanadri Enterprised 7th cross Chamraj pet bangalore near ramamandira close to TR Mill. I have complained about the services to the Owner of the bunk to Mr.Prasanna that there guys are cheating while they fill the petrol and once i had an argument that according to the Manufacturer of my car (Hyundai Santro) the Tank capacity of the car is 35ltrs but when i had an argument with Mr.Prasanna he said we never cheat to our customers and he messured the petrol in front of me using 5lts messuring can and i asked him to change the gun becose the stopper was not working properly, after that till today it was alright but when i filled the tank on 25th nov 08( Today) the tank is not filled even after 36.12ltrs of petol was already filled accroding to the reding meter
                but befor this when ever i have filled the petrol the tank use to full for 31.11to max 31.50ltrs before filling the petrol the cheasher Mr.Chanappa asked me weather i give cash or Card when i said card, he said the swaiping meachin is not working when i argued that always i fill the petrol here only and the card is accepted he said ill try with the other mechain.

                Hyundai Santro — Cheating Petrol while filling

                I m staying in Dhayari, sinhagad road .many times I go to Three S Service Station (Indian oil petrol Pump), Manikbaug, Sinhagad Rd, Manik Baug, Pune - 411051.

                In the last month I visited the captioned petrol pump, The petrol pump service man was distracting me and the other man who was filling the petrol didn't ask me to check for the meter reset, after filling it when I checked it was far less than the usual quantity

                Today on 27th april 2010, I again visited on same place, the same service man was there, & today also his position was doubtful as he didn’t want to show me meter, & tried to filling the petrol without reset the meter . I told him to make zero before the filling the petrol, he arrogantly replied that it will get atomically get zero before filling & also it is time consuming, than i shouted on him than he did acting to reset the meter but he didn’t did. I threatening him about complaint to owner than he reset the meter & filled the petrol, however he filled the of Rs 499/- . I strarted abusing that they never fill the petrol of actual amt its always less than actual amount. Due to my alertness i warned him and took the petrol for 500Rs but this way they cheat everybody. And people keep complaining.but i guess nothing is happining with this complaints.because after filling petrol I gone to complaint to owner of petrol pump, however I met with incharge Mr Datta ( as confirm by him ) I told him my incidence but he dose not shown any courtesy or apology abut the same. this way they must be cheating so many customers daily and dont get caught.
                i request the Indian oil Managements to take serious action against this petrol pump.
                Even Sharada Enterprises(subsidary of Indial oil )near Kodigehalli gate has cheating while filling the petrol.

                  We had 2 gas connections(both DBC) one in my name and second in the name of my father but since ours is a joint family comprising of my parents along with me and my brotheralongwith our wives and children, the gas company has disconnected one connection saying that there is only one Ration card.
                  I have applied for a fresh ration card for my self and my family-will i get back my connection or not as per rules?

                    Hi,
                    I have registered double cylinder under my mother name at Chirantani Gas Agency 3 Bangur Avenue Block- c- Kolkata . I have booked my cylinder on 24-Oct-2008 and they confirmed filled cylinder will be given in 3 days. But today 24-Nov-2008 I didnt receive the saame. Everyday I call them and they keep on saying that the cylinder will be reached by tomorrow and the reception/answer given by person is equally bad as their services..

                    Not getting delivery of booked Indane gas at "Seba Fuel" Chowdhury Para Road, Nimta, Kolkata 700049. Booked for Refil of cylinder on 18.9.10 (booking No. 13882)and they confirmed within 10/12 days filled cylinder would be supplied. For last four days I phoned them several times and everytime they used to say Cylinder would reach tomorrow. But sorry so far, they have not supplied it. Please do needful.

                    I booked a cylinder refill on 28/4/2011 through IVRS and got the booking no.200202 through sms on the same day.On 04/05/2011 i received another sms that "refill cylinder had been delivered for booking no.200202 against cash memo no.8158". and till 14/05/2011 i didnt received the cylinder. Please justify the sms to me...otherwise i have to go to consumer court.

                      Dear Sir,

                      There is a petrol pump located at Patparganj, Delhi-110091 of your company i.e., Indian Oil Corporation.

                      This petrol filling station have recruited those fools and uncultured petrol filler boys who fill petrol at this retail outlet. They not only talk in a nonsense manner but also the Manager of the outlet is giving them hand over their heads "do whatever you want to do for making extra easy money by hook or crook from customers who visit for filling petrol/ diesel - not-filling the petrol as paid by us". They are also selling petrol / diesel on their own way : like most of the sub-pumps for filling the petrol are left with free but they do not allow anyone to fill from a vacant pump rather they force to fill from only one pump, our main compulsion is as there is no other petrol pump nearby when coming way to office to Parliament of India.

                      OK. If there is any other petrol pump available but is this the way of doing their businesses, by way of harrassing common people?

                      Also there is no basic facilities available like filling of air to bikes/ cars etc. Also the staff posted there misbehave like they are very big goondas/ badmaas, and we cannot do anything to them. They are functioning in this way whenever I visited to their petrol pump as there is no other alternative available with me.

                      You are, therefore, requested to forward the complaint to the respective department of your company, and take immediate stern action against this petrol pump so that the further harrassment to us could be avoided.

                          I registered with M/s ERODE GAS AGENCIES., INDANE COMPLEX, 143 SAMPATH NAGAR, ERODE ERODE, TAMILNADU for asking new connection of INDANE GAS on 18.10.2008 VIDE REGN NO: [protected] and I have been informed that will get allotment in 10 days time but so far till today 24.11.2008 I have not received any allotment through any letter.

                          Kindly check the status and let me know the details when I can get the connection.

                          to book a new LPG connection. But they said that booking for a new connection is closed.

                          Please tell me that truely booking for a new connection is closed and if it is true then when I can book for new connection.

                            SRIDHAR GAS SERVICE - INDANE — ABNORMAL DELAY IN SUPPLY OF CYLINDERS

                            THE CYLINDER BOOKING DONE ONLY AFTER 21 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SUPPLY. AFTER THAT DELIVERY TAKES 15 DAYS MINIMUM. ONCE THE SUPPLY IS MADE IN DAD STAFF QUARTERS NANDAMBAKKAM, NEXT DELIVERY IS ONLY AFTER 15 DAYS.. HENCE THE SUPPLY IS ABNORMALLY DELAYED.
                            Iam totally agree with complaint made by customer. I have also one of the victim . I have transfer my gas connection from Ranie Gas agency . Keelkattalai, Chennai to Shabha Indane Gas Agency, Maduvankarai, Guindy on 20 Jul 2010. vide my cunsumer No;-23647 and booked for the refill cylinder on the same day but till to date i have not got my refill cylinder. I inquired with delivery boy and found my delivery challon in his hand.
                            Shall I know from the official what cause the delay the supplying of cylinders after handing over the delivery challon to delivery boys.

                            Is any body there in the higher officials to look after the customers grievances.

                            My Gas connection consumer no. 74165 - booked the gas on 08.06.12 and booking register no.314223 and on the same date i have recd. a sms stating cash memo 1709 has been created on 08.06.12.

                            After receiving this message i have contacted my Agency Sridhar gas agency - Ph. no[protected] / 22328349. They said only after another SMS stating it has been delivered. I asked when will i get, they said it may take 15 days.

                            Waited for 15 days, but no SMS. Finally i got SMS on 29.06.12 (after 21 Days from Cash memo created). But still i have not recd. the Gas cylinder till 05.07.12 (ie. even after 6 Days from Cylinder delivered SMS recd )

                            From Booking date to delivery it take by 1 month. But on Saturdays cylinders are being delivered from Godown directly to people who bring the empty cylinder. There is no booking date priority given for delivering the cylinder.

                            This is the second time such a delay is happening only from this Agency. Previously I was having with Prathna at Madipakkam. No delay, prompt service was given. But this Sridhar gas agency delivery boys blocking the Prathna delivery people not to enter Meenambakkam area. Due to this Prathna agency forced us to change to Sridhar Gas agency at St, Thomas Mount.

                            Kindly take it up to have prompt delivery of cylinder or transfer to Pranthna with assurance that Sridhar agency delivery person should allow to do service in Meenambakkam area.

                              This is to bring to your notice that the Indane gas agency - KK enterprises at HSR layout Bangalore has very bad customer service & the proprietor has a very callous & irresponsible behavior towards customers. In fact, in the last 1 year that I have been a customer in this agency, I have had to go myself and get the gas cylinder myself except in one case. The agency is not reachable most...

                              I went to my nearest dealer (Saptasikha Indane) of Indane LPG to have a new LPG connection for my home. They charged me a total sum of Rs 4222.75. But whatever i have understood and known till now the total cost must limit within Rs. 3600.
                              I got a letter in the middle of October from Indane where the detail of cost was stated as
                              Security deposite(cylinder) : Rs. 1250.00 Per Cylinder which is refundable
                              Security deposite(Regulator) : Rs. 150.00 Per Cylinder which is refundable too
                              Installation charge : Rs. 150.00
                              Suraksha hose : Rs. 200.00
                              Customer card : Rs. 25.00

                              Total Rs. 1775.00

                              They have taken all the above mentioned charges along with an additional charge of Rs 1650.00 for an Avita Hot plate.
                              the problem is that they have forced me to take the other accessories as:
                              Apron : Rs. 270
                              Lighter : Rs. 145
                              additional charge for filled cylinder : Rs. 362

                              which are optional accessories. They forced these products with a normal product receipt of their own(Not the Indane one). Also the installation charge they have taken is not worth as they did not come to the house for installation. They too force the people to take the hotplate from their stall.

                              INDANE GAS LPG DOMESTIC — OVERCHARGING AT THE TIME OF BOOKING NEW CONNECTION

                              Dear Sir,

                              We have booked one new connection on 11.01.2008 for which we are charged Rs. 3100/- but receipt is given for Rs. in total 1251/-( 850+ 100 + 301=1251) including cylinder, 01 regulator and LPG gas charg.
                              Consumer NO. is 757 and our distributor for area is Prakash Gas Service Telibandha Raipur. code is 142348

                              I request you to get my money back which is taken extra from actuals.

They have forced to take all the accessories from their shop with a high price( compare with market price and we had an gas oven). Is it really, if anyone takes a new connection has to take all the accessories? Is Indian Oil Co. Ltd will take any step against the dealership? My consumer Id is 28108

                                his sales agent mr.arvind verma & sher bhadur daley tell me your cylinder suply tomarrow but till 21-11-08 iam not recived gas his hocker black cylender in my colony everyday Rs 500/- pl. take action on agency for proper suply of gas.

                                    My service No. is NR12368 with M/s. UNITED GAS COMPANY, SECTOR-3, RAJENDRA NAGAR, SHAHIBABAD, DHAZIABAD (UP).

                                    It is deeply regretted that inspite of repeated request and personal approach the agency is not delivering the LPG cylinder booked for more than one and half months inspite of sufficient stock. On querry they said that we they don't have sufficient stock to deliver.Such foul play is on going at United Gas Company, Sector-3, Rajendra Nagar, Shahibabad(up) since there are lots of delivery men who sell cylinder in black. Kindly please advise me in this regard as i possess only single connection cylinder and such an act is not at all desirable.


                                    we have booked the gas.when we get a delivery, the next booking is done only after 21 days and delivered after one and half month.we are total of 8 members in our family and we cannot be satisfied with this sort of delivery.please help.even if we go there and inquire about it they don't even bother to reply us.

                                    It is deeply regretted that inspite of repeated request and personal approach the agency dealer-- United Gas Company is not delivering the LPG cylinder at time for last several months besides this he is misbehaving even with senior citizens.                                     LPG — inordinate and unjustified delay besides harrassment

                                    I am a LPG Indane customer with Gurvindra Gas Agency, Majitha Road, Amritsar and my consumer Number is 10404. I booked for a refill on 25.12.2007 after 22 days of delivery. I was intimated on January 25 that my booking number is 305. Even though it is nearing 42 days.
                                    I did not get my refill from Indane (Indian Oil Corporation) dealer. I went to dealer two-three times but every time they told me we will send it in one or two day. This is happening from last few months. , and repeated reminders to the company manager have only added insult and humiliation to me.

                                    I request IOCL to conduct audit into the records of the dealer and if necessary appoint one more dealer to regulate the supply and minimize the customer's avoidable grievances.

                                    I am in serice an serving at Bathinda which is more than 250 kilometers from amritsar and my family's repeated rounds and my teleponic reminders have fallen ondeaf ears.

                                    Kindly look into the matter please.
                                    It is very difficult to get a refill LPG cylinder from UNITED GAS COMPANY, SECTOR-3, RAJENDRA NAGAR, SHAHIBABAD, DHAZIABAD (UP). in spite of repeated reminders. Getting them on phone is another Himalayan task. It seems that their phones are intentionally switched off.

                                    Indane Gas — non delivery, irresponsible behaviour, intentional harassment

                                    Myself SHEETAL PANIGRAHI, bearing mobile no [protected] for the indane gas of Berhampur, ORISSA . My customer id- BI 3467 as already stated that there has been non delivery of the gas. There has been a several number of times when I have tried to contact them on the phone at the respective office even that was not picked up. After repeated requests which I have done by going to the office again and again but still there has been no consideration made.

                                    Serial no- 673 date of booking 7/04/08 date of delivery 3/06/08. Serial no-3525, date of booking 12/08/08 there had been a warning from the head office hence the date of delivery was 23/08/08 but again when for the Serial no- 539 and the date of booking 4/11/08 there had been a great delay in delivery which was made on 11/01/08 and finally for the serial number-2159 which was booked on 07/02/09 thegas cylinder has not been delivered yet.
                                    This indicates for a great irresponsible behaviour, intensional harashmental as I have to buy the cylinders in black which has really caused a great mental strauma for me. so which indicates for a bad customer service. therefore i would request you to investigate on the matter by sending up a surprise team for investigation else i would have to knock the door of the consumer court.
