Dear sir,
I was intrested to take one new LPG connection. I am resident of 1/35 Gali No.4 Vishwas Nagar Shahadra Delhi -32. I visited B.N. Gupta & co. A-1 New Vishwas Nagar, in March 2008. There receptionist advised me to visit in first week of April 2008. I again visit in April, she says it is better to come in May 2008 along with Ration card. At last today I visited the Gas agency along with Ration card. I have my old Ration card she refused to accept the same and ask to renew the same. Yet I have other proof of residence in my hand like Voter ID card, Passport etc. She says it is Mandatory to have new Ration card. You are requested to look into the matter and arrange to give me connection on Priority.

I have booked a cylinder on 31.12.2007 at Swatanter Gas Service, Ambala Cantt, Haryana. The company has not delivered the cylinder till date. Everyday they are asking that it will be delivered in a day or two. But now yesterday they ask that it will be delivered after more 15 days. What will we do.

I have booked the gas on[protected]. At that time agency person has accepted to deliver in 10 days. But today i enquired for delivery he is telling that it will take more 5 days and he is blaming the customer to cancel the booking. Is this the way to handle the customer care?

The way the person responding to the customer is mannersless/rudly.

Through out the day the phones of the Reshmi Gas agency distributor phones will be engaged and also while ringing they will not take the phone calls then how can we book the cylinders.I left to office at 7.30am and back to residence at 8.00pm after travelling 60kms to & fro to the office. Every month i should take the leave for the booking itself and also the refilled cylinder will recieve after 10 to 15 days is this is the way to satisfy the custumor.Please kindly help in this regard.

    20 DAYS DELAY IN SUPPLY

    I am having my Consumer No. 4087 with M/s TUCS AGENCIES, PERIYAR NAGAR, CHENNAI. I have booked the gas on 12/05/08(THERE IS NO EVIDENCE FOR BOOKING DATE) but till date i have not received the supply. The agency is not/ picking Telephone & when contact personally there was no //atisfactory reply....

    Dear IOCL,

    I own a Honda City ZX MH-02-AY-8337. I filled regular petrol on 28/05/2008 from Pump No. 13 of M/s Taximen's Services Ltd., Opp. BEST Depot, Gokuldham, Goregaon (East), Mumbai - 400 063, Phones:[protected], [protected]cash memo no. 484665(?)). The petrol pump was either faulty or tampered. This is because, (1) I always fill the tank fully to calculate my average mileage. This time, the pump dispensed 42.51 litre of petrol for 358.7 kms driven from last filling. This is unusual as I get approx. 11.5 kms/litre. (2) My tank capacity as given by the manufacturer is 42 litres. I also has approx. 1/8 tank full. So, how can the dealer put 42.51 litre?

    When I argued with the dealer, he brought a measure and filled 5 litres of petrol and tried to prove that the pump had no problem. But I do not know whether the measure was 5 litres measure, whether there was a way to start and stop tampering, etc.

    I feel cheated and will go to all lengths to see that the dealer is booked.

    If you do not take any action against this dealer, he will cheat many and bring down India Oil’s reputation and market share.

    If you do book the dealer and make adequate publicity, this will help you project a better image to the public and help deter other dealers from operating such practices.

    I need your initiative and help to book the culprit and suspend their dealership. Please keep updating me about the progress of this case.

    I HAVE REASON TO AGREE WITH THE COMPLAINANT BECAUSE I HAVE MY SELF MANY TIMES BEEN CHEATED BY A PETROL PUMP OF YOUR COMPANY SITUATED AT SHALLA TENGH SRINAGAR KASHMIR. THE BOYS THEREAT ARE IN THE HABIT OF HIDING THE METER FROM THE VIEW OF CLIENT THIS WAY OR THAT, IN SUCH MANNER THAT THE CLIENT IS NOT ABLE TO SEE WHETHER THE METER HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO ZERO OR NOT. IN CASE OF ENSUING CONFUSION THEY ARGUE. LAST TIME I KEPT MY NERVE AND ARGUED STRONGLY AND CRIED ABOUT THE ANOMALY BECAUSE I WAS SURE THAT I WAS CHEATED OF 0.75 OF OIL. OUT OF GUILT THEY AGREED AND FILLED THE TANK WITH 0.75. PLEASE SEE TO AS I HAVE HEARD THAT THEY ARE IN THE HABIT DOING IT WITH EVERY CUSTOMER AND LATER SHARE THE BOOTY AMONG THEMSELVES.
    Hi Ravindra,

    These petrol pump is a cheat. Last 2 times they started filling petrol for me before showing zero. by the time I saw zero on the meter which was a bit far the meterer was already ahead of Rs.200. Yesterday night I went to fill again and kept a close eye. They did the similar drill with the guy behind me. They started filling petrol from 200 and his car was far behind so he couldnt see the readings. I quickly informed the car behind and then we registered a complaint in their complaint book. Dont think much will come out of it. This is routine with them and the only thing we can do is be more attentive.. It also may have to do with our cars..I have a Honda City as well and the guy filling behind was also a Honda City.. Unless our doors are locked they can open the fuel closet.. I can support out if there is any intiative.. I have already posted on FB just so that my friends are aware

      This petrol bunk is located at magadi main road, near 10th cross bus stop. i have never seen such a bad service in any other bunks, i was waiting for more than half an hour in a queue to fill petrol to my 2 wheeler... the staff was filling and encouraging the people who coming in breaking the queue and later when i checked the content (i asked to fill 3 litres) it was just 2 litres and they reset the counter...i complained to the office but there was no action taken. please take severe action against this dealer...

      Same thing happend to me also in one petrol bunk IOC in Venkatanarayana Road near Mother Care in T Nagar. I asked them to load petrol for Rs 500 and then they loaded only for Rs 100. Then they stopped. I told i asked for 500, then he started from 100 to 400 and said initially 100 + now 400 = 500. But the beauty is he did not reset back to 0. So 100 Rs of petrol is lost. Initially i noticed but i thought it was my mistake, and drove for 10 mins and say my meter that did not show right reading that usually show. I drove back to them and complained this and all of the guys including the manager knows the fraud and they said some crap problem and fill me 100 rs petrol immediatly. All the petrol bunk are fraud. People have to be very aware of these fraud not top get cheated.
      Another problem I face with the same bunk is that whenever I ask them to fill the tank and if the meter reading is say 100.01 paise, they will charge Rs.101. Also they charge Rs.13.00 for 60 ml oil, everytime, whereas the printed price is Rs.12...So everytime I end up giving them Rs.2 extra. When asked, the bunk manager says that everywhere its like that only.
      On an average, I need to fill up petrol in my bike, every alternate day, therefore I am losing Rs.30 every month.

        Hi,

        Thanks for giving your valuable & extensive support to us.I have transfer my connection from Bhubaneswar ( B.W.C.S. Ltd, Alaka, Indane gas distributor) to Hyderabad having consumer no:- 26365. I have given a copy of document for verification in Hyderabad Indane station (near Attapur, Hyderguda, upperpoli). I have visited several time & contacted many times to the nearest Indane station but they are saying they have not yet getting confirmation from bhubaneswar. I can't understand the reason of delay while everything is on place.
        Please look into this so that we can keep the same faith on Indane.

          Sir,

          We have lost the gas book and approched the agency to know the proceedure for applying a duplicate. The counter staff response was very curt and thier attitude is pathetic. I guess, they do not know the value of a customer. When I tried to speak to their proprietor, half the way through the conversation, she passed on the telephone to her subordinate and neither a sorry, nor a explanation from their end.

          Please can you guide me through, and also make the agency understand what is customer service...

            Dear Sir,
            I am a customer of your domestic LPG service and my customar No is 42594 under Chatterjee Gas Service of 93 sarat Chatterjee Road, Howrah-2 (West Bengal). Now a serious problem has occured on my cylinder from 24.05.08 where it has been found that a huge quantity of gas is coming out from cylinder valve when the regulator is removed.
            I have tryed to contact with you through emergency phone no[protected]/7236 but found no responce. Already I have contacted varbaly with Chatterjee hat Gas Service but they told me that they have no official procedure.
            Hence please activate the above emergency no for any complain in future like me and kindly take my problem as emergeny basis.

              In above mentioned indane gas distributor as they are give the home type cylinder to us the bill rate is Rs.316.45 but they receive Rs.350 from us.And the can't take any action for based on our compliant.

AND THERE WAS ONE WEEK LATE DELIVERY AND REFILL PRICE WAS CHARGED Rs. 310.35 . PLEASE TELL ME THAT I PAID THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF COMPANY PRICE.

              Indane Gas — BOOKING & DELIVERY PROBLEM

              My Indane Gas service provider at Meerut is " Vijyant Gas Service". It is very difficult to book the gas through phone(4 nos) as the agency does not picup the calls and also after booking delevery is made after one week with long followup during the week every time.

              Indane Gas — Booking & Delivery Problems

              With due respect to Indane Company, I Shree Debojyoti Chowdhury Consumer Number :-SS12760, booked my gas on 28th May 2011 over the phone number:-[protected], time:- 09:55AM, reference number:- 205662, cash memo number:- 6945, which showed delivered on date:-31st May 2011, time:- 12:23PM, sender number : 54411, which I didn't receive till date, again I booked on 02nd June 2011 time:- 12:23PM, with reference number:- 206743, which also I didn't receive till date, I called up to Distributor Som Service, they told there are no bookings to this consumer number, how is it possible, I don't have any idea about the poor services.

                I am facing problem with Niranjan gas agency, vidhydhar nagar jaipur Rajasthan, regarding delay in supply of lpg cylinders.

                My consumer no is 24780. I have booked my cylinder on 6th may 2008. but still I am ubable to get it. Every time when I go to the shop or call them they give the answer it will reach today, but still I am not getting it. Last 8 days I am reminding them. Please kindly take action regarding this.

                Now we are in big trouble as we have only one connection with one cylinder.

                Due to this I am also facing problem with family.

                I am facing problem with Maruti gas agency, Manjalpur Vadodara, Gujarat, regarding delay in supply of Lpg cylinders.

                My consumer no is 14586. I have booked my cylinder on 03rd of Oct. 2007, but still I am unable to get it.                 Delay in delivery of Refilling Cylinder
                I am facing problem with Sri Lakshmi Narayana Gas Agency -Walajabad,Kanchipuram Dist Code:984146 Distinction Code:16246.

                My consumer no is 6408. I have booked my cylinder on 28th of Oct. 2007, but still I am unable to get it. Every time when I go to the shop or call them they are not giving a proper reply.The Staffs in the agency were also not behaving properly to the customers.This issue has been taken to the notice of Mr.Anbarasu-Properitior of that Agency but in vain we still didnt get the replacement of Cylinder.

                Eventhough we have 2 Cylinders one will be always empty and they are telling that they will be giving or taking the request only after 21 days of delivery of the cylinder,which will have no impact in having 2 cylinders ...

                Please kindly take action regarding this.

                  I HAD FILLED UP (TANK FULL) OF EXTRA MILE DIESEL IN MY TOYOTA INNOVA CAR FROM YOUR PUMP (HIMGIRI FILLING STATION) SG. NO. 0045456 DISTRICT CHAMOLI. GARHWAL UTTARANCHAL.

                  THE EXTRA MILE DIESEL FILLED BY THIS PUMP SEEMS TO BE ADULTRATED AS IT HAS CHOKED MY CAR. I HAVE SENT MY VEHICLE TO THE WORKSHOP FOR CONFIRMATION.

                  I HAVE THE BILL RECEIPT OF THE DIESEL AND ALSO THE SAMPLE OF THE SAME. WE REQUEST YOU TO TAKE CONFIRMED ACTION AGAINST THE DEALER OF THE PUMP. AND ALSO THE RESPONSIBILITY OF MY CAR DAMAGE AND LOSSES SHALL BE ON PART OF IOCL/DEALER.

                    Dear Sir,

                    Gem Gas Agency, Kharar, Distt: Mohali, who is dealer of supply of Indane Gas cyclinder in the city Kharar from last 4-5 years. From last five six months, this gas agency did not delivered the cyclinders to the many consumers who are living with their joint families. The gas agency dealer told peoples that they deliver gas cylinder only on one gas connection in one house only.

                    People leaving in joint families in one house are having one or two gas connections ( e.g. one in the name of Father and other in the name of Son leaving in the same house).

                    For this Gem Gas Agency has not delivered the gas cyclinder to the both connections in the one house. They told people that they are instructed from the IOC companies to not to deliver the gas cyclinders to multi connection in one house.

                    By this problem peoples living with joint families, or people living on rented house has the same address. For this same address gas agency has delivered only gas cyclinder to one connection only. This is a very much big problems faced by the peoles of the Kharar city.

                    When the gas connections were opened for all, then peoples buy one or two connections in the name of their sons or daughters or father or mother. But now the Gem Gas Agency has not deliver the cyclinders to the peoples who have one or two connections in their name of son or daughters and living in joint family in single / one house with their family.

                    For this problem, we are requesting you to please instructed the Gem Gas Agency, kharar to deliver the gas cyclinders to the both the connections available with the peoples living in joint families. This is a very big problems. Please try to solve this problem of people living in the Kharar city.

                    I have got the TV (6752972 DATED 14.04.10)from kalka gas agency pinjore -HR
                    But requested to GEM gas agency KHARAR -PB.
                    according to gas agency dealer no regulter is aviable .
                    so that he is not providing the cylider & regulator.
                    28 cases are pending for reguletor.
                    Please look in to the matter & solve this issue as earlier possible.

                      sir,
                      I Dr.Suchit Mohan Kerkar, resident of malwan, district sindhudurg, maharashtra.I am appointed as medical officer in govt. rural hospital, malwan for last 1year.
                      I have applied for gas connection at Indane gas agency, malwan on 18-03-08. I have been given waiting list no 1542.
                      please give me a connection as early as possible because this being new place i am facing a lot of problems
                      agency asked me to get a written order from you regarding same as there are some provisions for doctors working in govt set up

                      I Mr. Duryodhan Sahoo, resident of Dighalo, district Puri, Orissa.
                      I have applied for TB connection at Puja Indane gas agency, Konark on 13-03-10.
                      please give me a connection as early as possible because I donot have any gas tank for cooking i am facing a lot of problems
                      agency always asked me to give me a gas load tank in the next week since 13.03.2010
                      I want to know that they are selling the tanks in black in other markets so always displayed me that tank sort in this month

                        Consumer number : 24969, We had booked Gas on 2nd May 2008 and when we did not receive the gas even after 20 days, we enquired, they said they have cancelled the earlier booking and booked again on 22nd May. On what basis they can cancel the booking, Is there no rule to stop this non-sense . Or Is their any official action that can be taken on these people ? I am not sure if "Indane people" will actually look into the complaints and try to resolve. When try to call and ask why they did so, they but the phone.

                        There has not been a single instance in 10 yrs since I am registered with them that they have delivered the gas on time. Everytime they ask to collect it personally. If you talk to them over phone they start shouting and ask vague questions.

                        I am really amazed at their attitude towards work and their laid back ways.

                          even govt. clarified its stand on release of new gas connection in RS still the gas agencies in bangalore are in reciept of letter stating no new connection till further notice.

                            I had booked a cyllinder date[protected] with Parul gas service shop no.3-4, main road hardev nagar, jharoda, burari, delhi-84. My consumer number is 18828. Till date, the same is not delivered to me. When I went to the agency to enquire about it, the staff had used filthy language against me.

                            I had booked a cyllinder with M/S ARTHI INDANE GAS SERVICES,Trichy.600 023 on 06.01.2010,My consumer No 09582.
                            Till date, the same is not delivered to me, when i call the agency to enquire about it, there is no response.
                            I request you to please look in to the issue.

                            Last month on 16.02.2011, I had booked a cyllinder with M/S Shree Darshan Gas Service, 18 Pallav Tower, Pallavpuram, Roorkee Road, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. My consumer number is 83229. Till date, the same is not delivered to me. When I went to the agency to enquire about it, the staff had used filthy language against me. I request you to please take necessary action.

                            Indane Gas — Not supply of Cylinder

                            My consumer No. is ET 222. I have make a call for gas cylinder on 5th August 2011, my serial no. was 206282 by mobile calling service of Indane. The gas cylinder is still not delivered on 19th July 2011. The toll free no. of Indane [protected] is always engaged. How we customer may call for our problem. Regards, Nilam Kumari

                              Not a complaint, it is a request. My daughter Ms. Meenakshi Kaleeswaran has been appointed as Software Engineer in Infosys and posted at Bangalore Branch. She has been allotted Indane Gas conenction from M.P. quota at Bangalore. She has got the connection also.

                              I am her mother and we are staying at Delhi. Here at Delhi our ration card has become dead and cancelled. The Indane dealer at Bangalore is demanding for Ration Card of Ms. Meenakshi. We don't have any ration card. The dealer says without ration card further delivery cannot be made. Therefore, I am requesting you to help some way out. What other address proof can be submitted for continuing the gas cylinder delivery - in the form of letter from the organisation where she is working or address proof where she is staying?

                              Can you please help in this issue - so that the same can be sorted out and proof submitted to the dealer.

                              my sister who is married wants to book for a gas connection with indane gas. I just want to know whether the ration card is compulsory or not. Because, since we are above poverty line, no ration was being distributed and later since it was not renewed, it lapsed.

                              Under such circustances, could u kindly suggest some alternative for the ration card and also let me know how long it takes the get a gas connection at koramangala I block after booking. Kindly advise.

                                My customer no. is 61561. I 've been using yr product since
                                1982, regd. in da name of Sri. S.Venkataraman for whom I was da care taker.
                                Now da gentleman is not with me & da Distributor refuses to transfer
                                it in my name. I 've produced affidavit in Rs. 80/ Stamp paper
                                with Power of Attorney seal.
                                I 've got valid ration card, PAN card, Election card & other documents.
                                M/S. Sridhar Gas Agency, 11/4 Morrison 1st st., ALANDUR,
                                CHENNAI- 600 016 insists for a FRESH REGN. in my name
                                for a cash payment of Rs. 2100/ . They are not accepting cheque.

                                Pl. look into da matter & arrange for a Name Transfer
                                wihout fees.

                                  I live in chennai. In my family there are 7 adults & two kids & we had two gas connections.
                                  Now they blocked one of the connections, stating that they would provide only one connection per ration card. I've no way in which I can split my ration card into two, since the civil supplies corporation says that they do not accept any application for splitting if we are in the same region.
                                  Hence I request the authorities to release the connections atleast based on the number of members living in a family

                                    Hi,

                                    I booked my new connection on 23-mar-2007 in Venkateshwara Gas Agency . When I enquired about new gas connection they are saying that new connection is blocked and we can not give new connection. The behavior of the staff is also very rude. They are not ready to listen any thing. When I asked, If there is any possibility to start new connection, he blindly says no. When i tried to call local indane office number [protected] and [protected], no one was lifting the phone. Once a lady lift the phone and disconnected it. I dont understand what is the problem with these guys...

                                    I went Venkateshwara Gas Agency at hosur, for new connection but they told now days we are not giving new conncetion like they told, & the same guy told with out ration card we cant give like they told, even they told this answer roughely. what is the realy problem for new connection pls tell us sir,

                                    Again i went Vaisnu gas agency they are asking two type of address proof one identy proof what realy enough for getting the new conncetion pls give guide line

                                    realy the people are making pool us so pls help me.

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                                    I am working in a Public Sector Organisation, approached Mohan Gas Services (Near BEL Circle, Next To INdial Oil Petrol Pump, Bangalore) to get the New connection. They asked me to produce the ration card. i produced the ration card and asked the connection without stove, since i had the stove of which has provided by INDANE only. (Actually our organisation gave the pigeon stove as a new year stove, which has the feature of automatic lighter once start the operation(lighter is not required) since it is very user friendly i had given the same to my relative, who stays in village & exchanged the stove which they got along with cylinder in the month of april 2008 from Indane gas service provider)

                                    Mohan Gas Agency told that if i purchse Gas cylinder & Stove both from them, they will give the connection within 3 days and no inspection of house or kitchen.
                                    If i want to purchase only cylinder technician will come and ceck the stove, since i had the stove i agrred for the same after 2-3 days he came and saw the stove and said that the stove is from Indane only is good that i have that. later he asked me to show the kitchen, being a bacheolar and living in city like Bangalore, it was embarrasing me to show him the fully pledged kicthen. i am in a rented house where i have two rooms and one bath room, when he asked me i told one room where i using as living room & keeping all i belongings, asper the requirement mentioned in website i need to have a place for cooking ...
                                    ( Q. How do I get a new domestic (14.2 kg/5 kg cylinder)Indane connection? Where is my nearest LPG distributor located?
                                    Ans: Indane is available for domestic use in 14.2 Kg capacity cylinders and also in 5 Kg capacity cylinders in select few cities primarily in hilly / rural areas in the country.
                                    New LPG Connections are now Available on Demand across the country. In case you do not have an LPG connection from any of the PSU Oil Companies in your name and you have a separate cooking area in your house you can have an Indane domestic connection in your name)...i told him that i will use that as a kitchen and shown him the table which i will be using to keep the stove on it and cylinder under that to full fill the safety requirement as well as two windows in the room. But i have been refused to get the connection based on the reason of his inspection note that "No kitchen"... i twice went to the agency and explained the situation, but the authorities are under the impression that i have only one room, they are not ready to listen to me & not even offered me a seat to express myself. As a right for information when i asked the same in writing the Madam refused to give in writing didnt give any chance to further conversation again i started brefing ...Suppose i have purchased stove & cylinder there itself no question of Inspection... no matter about kitchen...no matter of being refused by them & unexpected treatment...waste of my time & writing this big mail !!!. Since i am not purchasing stove from them all these cycle of activities, thogh i have the same stove being provided by them... as per the website i fullfill all the requirements and i stress & reiterate that i have to rooms, one wooden table to fulfill the safety requirement...more importantly the INDANE STOVE.

                                    when i requested eventhough they are under bias & decided not give connection, i was told to come on Tuesday to know my final status...of connection...
                                    My appeal to Indane gas is to just go through the mail and atleast make sure that same worst situation will not happen to others in future or advise me to take next step...that what i have to do...

                                      Sir,
                                      I am Saurabh Raina, being a customer want to complaint about the home delivery service which is provided by your local dealer in Loni, and the full address of the dealer is mentioned below.
                                      Freedom Gas Service, H.No.1425, Balram Nagar, Delhi Saharanpur Road, Loni(GZB).
                                      And the concern person is Mr.Ranvir Singh who is working on the godown at Banthla village.
                                      The complaint is about that the actual price of a domestic cylinder is 293.35 and if in case dealer is unable to provide a home delivery service so he has to give the rebate of rs.8 per cylinder and they are not providing the home delivery in the proper manner and they charge 300.00/cylinder and they are doing black marketing openly and they are selling the opened seal cylinder and customer has to purchase the opened seal cylinder under crucial time. They have been providing proper services to their known people or they demand for bribe So please take step to prevent these things. If you don't take any step so I have to go to consumer forum.
