Dear sir/madam, The following is a mail i sent to dr. Sanjeev, registrar, mpdd, dr. Himadri roy and anu aneja on the 16th of april 2018 after my failed efforts through e-mails prior to that. The grievance was regarding me not getting my study materials and interestingly it still remains the same! I have paid for the course and yet due to the lack of effort and coordination from the people concerned i have lost my 1 year already. Please do something to solve my grievance. All am asking even now is to dispatch my study materials to me. I am still not interested to take the legal route. I have lost 1 year and these people are damn responsible. Here is the copy of my mail: "dear sir/ madam, I am student of pg diploma in women and gender studies (July.2017 enrollment). Here are my particulars: Name - anand k Pgdwgs programme, Enrolment no.[protected] I must mention with utmost grief that i made a terrible mistake by joining for the course as the co-ordination and promptness at the administrative level is pathetic. I enrolled for the course in july (I. E. Applied by remitting fees in apr.17) and had the 1st induction in oct.17! We don't have an academic counselor per se! (I know you'd say that that is a matter with the regional centre). I received my 2 text books in the 2nd week of dec.17!! (Where as that is the deadline of submitting my 1st sem assignments!). I got book 4 on 14th april.18 and am yet to receive my book 3 and project guide! (Last date of submission of 2nd sem assignments and project is apr.30, 2018). I am fed up sending complaint mails to the regional centre, its director and course coordinators anu aneja and himadri roy. To such an extend that mr. Himadri roy doesn't even reply my mails anymore!! I repeat the particulars: Received: book 1, book 2 (Sem 1) and book 4 (Sem 2) Yet to receive: book 3 and project guide (Sem 2) To add to all the aforementioned farce, the dispatch in university website shows that i have received all books on feb 24, 26, 2018! (I have attached that with this mail for your reference). Let me add that neither have i received it nor have the regional centre got it. As a university. As per rules, you charge fine/extra fee if i (Or any student) delay 1 day in submitting an assignment or exam fee.in terms of material dispatch this has become a gruesome issue and a breach of my rights as a student who has paid full fees on time! What answer do you have for me? Or are you pushing me to no other option that taking this issue to the court? I must say that i really regret having chosen pgdwgs in ignou and the way the course is being conducted is highly disappointing and below all standards, which is not befitting to a national university. Dr. Sanja kumar did reply ordering his allies to look into it immediately, but it has been 1 month now and no one seems to bother about his mail..!!
