Hi,
I visited Apollo Hospital, Sarita Vihar, Delhi in OPD for consultation with Ortho Specialist. When I asked for the Fees of Doctor the attendant said Rs. 1500/-. So I paid Rs. 1500/-. After consuting the doctor I visited the Pharmacy and took the medicine. The person on the counter asked to pay Rs. 158/- I gave him Rs. 200/-. He gave me the medicines and bill but did not return the change and said 'ho gaya.' and started entertaining other customers expecting me to leave the counter.I waited for a minute for him to return the change. But still he was ignoring me. After a minute when I said 'ho gaya bhai' then only he said ' aap ka change reh raha hai'. Really disgusting. I never ever expected this from a hospital like this (So called No. 1).
It doesn't end here, When I got some relief at 8:00 p.m. I was going through the Prescription and BIlls. And I was amazed to see that the Fees of Doctor was actually Rs. 1200/- on paper. The attended had said nothing about the return of Rupees Three hundred. A paper was attached with the bill showing 300 but nothing was written about whether it is balance or will be paid later (scan enclosed).
It is not about Rs. 300/- but the process hospital is practicing. I had heard a lot about the Hospital but the experience was really bad for the First time visit. Management should look into this and teach their staff about ethical business.
Regards,
