Indusind Bank — Fastag deactivation and reimbursement request rejected

Raised a request to deactivate and reimburse amount from my fastag account, over a week later, request was rejected with a note that my number is incorrect.
1. No where during my rejection request was there any entry required for entering my contact number
2. The contact number on my fastag is the latest and active number

I have raised a 2nd request as on today to see what will happen. Most unprofessional way to respond to a deactivation request. I am re-thinking if I want to go through indusind for my next fastag with such an unprofessional way of dealing with my request.
