Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the harassment and unethical recovery practices I am facing from individuals claiming to represent IndusInd Bank in connection with my credit card repayment.
Despite my repeated requests for their names and employee IDs, these individuals have refused to identify themselves and have instead:
- Used abusive and threatening language over phone calls and WhatsApp.
- Contacted my parents and relatives, defaming me and violating my privacy.
- Caused mental distress and reputational damage through their actions.
I have already sent an email to the bank requesting time to repay and proposing a one-time settlement, but I have not received any response. I am willing to cooperate and resolve the matter amicably, but I expect to be treated with dignity and respect, as per RBI guidelines on recovery practices.
I hereby request the following:
- Immediate cessation of all harassing and defamatory communication from recovery agents.
- A formal response from the bank regarding my settlement proposal.
- Assurance that all future communication will be conducted via official written channels only.
Please treat this matter with urgency. If I do not receive a satisfactory response within 7 working days, I will be compelled to escalate this issue to the Banking Ombudsman and Cyber Crime authorities, along with all supporting evidence.
