I requested foreclosure of my IndusInd Bank personal loan on 11 June 2026. Customer care instructed me to send my foreclosure request by email and later requested my latest one-month bank statement to verify that the payment would be made from my own funds.
I immediately submitted the requested bank statement. When informed that the PDF was password protected, I removed the password and resent it on 20 June 2026.
Since then, I have made numerous calls to customer care, visited the branch, and escalated the matter to the Nodal Officer and Principal Nodal Officer. Every follow-up resulted in assurances that the foreclosure statement would be issued within 24–48 hours, but no foreclosure statement or payment link has been provided.
I also observed that each follow-up email generated a new Service Request (SR), while previous SRs were closed without resolving the foreclosure request.
On 4 July 2026, an escalation executive informed me that there was an internal technical issue and that foreclosure letters were not being issued, asking me to wait another week. No written communication regarding this issue was provided.
Due to this delay, my scheduled EMI has already been deducted even though I had arranged the funds to close the loan. I request IndusInd Bank to immediately issue my foreclosure statement and complete the foreclosure process without further delay. Was this information helpful? |
