I had enrolled for an online course with Intellipaat platform and did the payment for the course on August 28th 2023, due to some reason I wasn't willing to continue with the course and unenrolled myself from the course. I requested for refund on September 2nd 2023, my refund request was approved on September 7th 2023. Ever since 7th Sept I have been following up with the escalations team for refund, I got a written confirmation after many perusal that my refund will be processed on 15th of Oct 2023. I am registering this complaint today i.e. on 16th Oct 2023. I am yet to receive my refund, when I call up the support they inform that the concerned person who is looking at my refund case is gone on off, so in that case I asked them if no-one else was available to process my refund and strangely I was informed only the concerned person can do the refund. As only certain people look at certain students. This is really strange as they fall behind students when they have sell a course but when you initiate a refund they make the process very hard and drive the students anxious. What kind of business model is this where it drives pleasure out of students becoming anxious on when their refund will be processed. I would definitely request the students to observe caution while investing in these sort of learning platforms.
