IRB Infrastructure — Toll collecting delayed due to faulty scanner... Reg.. | |||
I am a regular traveler between navi mumbai and pune. Today 10th feb-2022 at 4.15 pm. There have been delays due to time taken to collect the toll from fastag. We have shown balance screen shot (Attached herewith) to the employee attended there. My car passed the scanner location, but looks like the scanner did not work. On this the staff present at the booth stopped my car. I stopped my car and requested to scan using the handgun. On this the staff present in the first right-hand side lane (Coming toward mumbai) misbehaved with me, used abusive language. If our balance is short toll collector charges double as a penalty when your scanner not working and due to which delayed our vehicle it must be penalized to toll collector authority. Please take note of this and instruct your staff accordingly. As per the statutory rule, any delay beyond 10 seconds is undesirable as it hampers the movement of vehicles and also results in excessive burning of fuel. Toll collection company has to release the vehicles in such situations and ensure that vehicular movement is smooth. Was this information helpful? | |||
