I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I faced while travelling to Mumbai on Monday, the 30th of October 2023. At Talegaon toll, we were stopped due to a fast tag issue, which caused a delay of half an hour. I made a payment of Rs. 320 via PhonePe for the toll, but I encountered unpleasant behaviour from the toll booth staff who demanded double payment in cash, despite my wallet's balance being sufficient.
My concern is that the fast tag system did not work at Talegaon toll plaza, whereas it was functional at other toll booths such as Anewadi, Khed Shivapur, and Khalapur. This delay not only caused inconvenience to me but also to the other cars waiting behind.
Additionally, I have been charged Rs. 240 through the fast tag at Khalapur toll plaza, even after presenting the receipt of Rs. 320 paid at Talegaon toll.
I believe that I should not have been charged again. Therefore, I humbly request you to refund the balance amount that was charged to me. For your reference, my Fast tag valet number is 26993499, and I have attached a screenshot of the fast tag statement.
