Hi, the agent might have misguided/misrepresented you to buy policy by not disclosing all the conditions. Its seems that policy has been issued on 12/10/17 & treatment has taken place on 5/11/17 that is within the period of 30 days of policy issue. As per terms & conditions of any health insurers policy except accident/injury due to this no other treatment are covered for first 30 days from the date of issue of policy. Further on reciept of policy document with terms & conditions you might have gone through the same & if not satisfied you might have cancelled within free look period of 15 days from date of reciept of policy so that insurer will have to refund the premium collected. Now there is no chance for the same. in case of cancellation now refund will be to an extent of 50% of premium only.
