Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am holding Insurance Policy since 2009 from HDFC Ergo.
Every year my renewal date 08th Sep, 2025.
I planned to Migrate policy to better plan in HDFC Ergo only.
I am following customer care since 08th Aug 2025 one month before.
I filled what ever documents required to migrate plan optima restore to optima secure plan.
Following very often with customer care but no time bonded reply.
Customer care consumed lot of time, and I frustrated.
Gave complaint to Grievance team still every time 24 to 48hrs but no time bonded reply.
On 07th September exact 1day before I got call and email id renewal from [protected]@hdfcergopolicyhealthinsurancerenewal.in from new email id and number.
I surprise and I called to HDFC Ergo customer care number +[protected] to confirm the email id with customer care representative on call they confirmed (Bilkul in Hindi) the email is ours to proceed and I have double checked before proceeding for payment luckily I recorded the call.
When I proceed INR 57180.05 with payment link was directed to HDFC Ergo page (I have screen shot of link page) so I don’t have any trust issue to proceed payment for 2 years policy.
After payment my page was hanged and payment debited INR 57180.05 from my ICICI bank credit card.
I called ICICI bank for reference number and I got it and shared with hdfc customer care.
I called to HDFC Ergo customer care number +[protected] they ask me to wait for 24hrs to 48hrs to reflect the payment. I am panic because amount was debited from account.
I suspect email/ number was from fraud I called to fraud number they sent me email from [protected]@hdfcergopolicyhealthinsurancerenewal.in they send payment received and will send you policy in 24hrs to 48hrs.
I waited for 48hrs not received optima secure policy but didn’t received.
I understand call/ email from fraud but HOW COME HDFC CUSTOMER CARED CONFIRMED ME EMAIL ID [protected]@hdfcergopolicyhealthinsurancerenewal.in.
Sir/ Madam I want justice
1. How come HDFC customer care confirm the email [protected]@hdfcergopolicyhealthinsurancerenewal.in is genuine I recorded voice.
2. I lost INR 57108.05 and I also reported to Cyber crime I am working on separately all this problem because of email id confirmation and payment linked opened HDFC Ergo page.
3. I want to complain on HDFC Ergo I called several times to customer and sent email to migrate policy to optima secure but no proper response just I got called on 06th Sep evening and I am little busy in after noon and in the evening hdfc renewal team guy hurry to go home.
4. 08 September HDFC Ergo renewal team informed me under writer team rejected policy.
5. I want to know what HDFC renewal/ customer care is doing from 1 month. They didn’t inform me about rejection. Rejection is in their hand I don’t want to debate.
They need inform me earlier so that I can port some other company just before a days expiry of my policy. Several times I gave email but no reply it was rejected.
6. I lost 57108.05 because of negligence of HDFC Ergo.
7. Sir/ Madam HDFC Ergo gave lot of troubles to me No proper reply general statements, No specific answers, No time bonded, Killed my time and energy,
8. HDFC Ergo screwed me I have no way/ choice so I renewal old optima restore policy with extra premium as policy expired they cancel my bonus 250000 in optima restore.
9. Please help to get 2 years Optima secure policy and I can’t pay any premium now as I already loss of INR 57108.05 due to HDFC ERGO.
10. Cancel my existing policy with HDFC Ergo optima restore which I renewed on 11th September 2025 and return the premium amount INR 29420 only after issue of optima secure policy.
11. At last after issue of HDFC Ergo optima secure policy 2 years If I got return amount INR 57108.05 to my account I will definitely pay to HDFC Ergo.
I can give provided what ever proof required from end and I am also working/ fighting very closely to get back my amount in all the ways I can try.
Please help me to issue 2 year HDFC Ergo optima secure policy as they wasted my time otherwise I would port to some other better policy in other company.
Note:- All this mess happened due to email id confirmation done by HDFC Ergo customer care number +[protected] I have all records.
