Jeep Compass — water drain into air filter | |||||
Dear sir, I have purchase jeep compass last year in the month of october. Yesterday i was travelling to my office and there was a heavy rain. I stopped on the road side to pick my friend and thereafter vehicle does not start. I called road side assistant they have checked but ask to take to service center. No the person in service center telling me that water entered in air filterer. I got surprised if only in heavy rain it water can drain out then on what basis your are advertising that you can drive this vehicle on hills and this is an though vehicle. I have driven so many cars from last 27 years but first time i have gone through the problem. Now they said this is not covered in warranty and you have to claim for insurance. My question is if the water got logged in the air filter so easily this there is an fault in the vehicle so they should repair it in the warranty. Was this information helpful? | |||||
