Hi, I had purchased Panasonic 100cm (40 inch) Full HD LED Smart Android TV from Flipkart on 22 Oct 2020 and they sent an engineer for TV installation from Jeevas Consumer service Pvt. Ltd ([protected]) on 24 Oct 2020 named Nilesh Patil ([protected]) and he did the TV Installation and asked me to purchase VGuard stabilizer worth Rs. 1650 stating that it is mandatory for your TV and if i don't take it then my TV will get damage due to power fluctuation. After the engineer left I read out TV manual and found written that Stabilizer is not required for the TV and if i use the stabilizer then the TV warranty will be void. I tried contacting Jeevas Consumer Services but they said once the item is sold we cannot take it back.
So this is clearly a case of fraud by engineer giving incorrect and wrong information to purchase additional things so that they can fetch extra money from consumer.
