I had got admitted on 24-Dec-2021 for a surgery. I was asked to pay Rs 40, 000 (in 2 parts of 20, 000 each) for covering non-claimable expenses that fall outside insurance coverage. The receipt provided did NOT mention the expense category. The Surgery happened on 25-Dec-21, and I was discharged on 27-Dec. The refund for unused expenses on one of the deposit was provided after few days. The refund of 15, 000 on the other deposit is pending even today (06-May-22). I have visited the hospital's revenue department several times, and called up multiple people, but this matter is pending even today. Here are the details.
