Jet Airways — charges for aisle seat from senior citizen | |||
My wife kamla tikam bhatia 63 years (Ff[protected] was travelling in economy from mumbai to toronto via amsterdam (Pnr-ahrbzz) on 23.9.18. I had requested for wheel chair because she is uncomfortable in walking and standing for longer duration. On 21.9.18 when i was telechecking the airline website did not allow to telecheck. I feeling uneasy contacted airline and the staff said that only middle /window seats are available. I said that the person travelling cannot walk so she needs an isle seat only. I was told paid isle seats are only available.in panic i asked for that seatand i was charged inr5600/- for both sectors. The airline instead of helping aged people who has walking difficulty have recovered this amount unreasonably. May i request the jet airways to refund this amount immediately. I waited for about 40 minute at New Delhi Metro Station for checkin of baggage but no staff from JetAirway shown up on 18/9/2018 from 6.15pm to 6.50pm.
