Refund our money in full and cancel our itinerary I am afraid, i will not be able to travel on 17 sep 2018 on your flight jet airways (9w-528) from kochi to dubai due to medicsl emergency. My son muhammed sehan maniyattukudy and my spouse mohammed sanoob will also have to cancel their trip on the same flight. I need you airline to refund me the full amount of rs19, 685/- (Pnr:-pecyuz), ticket number:-589-[protected],, 589-[protected]) [by waiving off fees to cancel the tickets and taxes]. And i need you to refund the one side fare of rs8, 455/- (Pnr-yuhudx),, ticket number 589-[protected]) [by waiving off fees to cancel the tickets and taxes.] Reason for avoiding journey My husband mr. Sanoob mohammed has been diagonised with brain tumour (Medical reports has been attached in this email). He has been hospitalized at malabar institute of medical sciences, kozhikode.. The hospital does not permit us to travel before getting operated.. We will also have to remain at the hospital for post-operative care. I am sorry to note about the illness due to which you had to cancel your ticket booked with us. It would be relevant to mention here that there is no policy to offer cancellation / amendment charge waiver for any medical condition. However, we do have a hospitalization policy under which the cancellation or amendment charge waiver can be considered if the below criteria are met. 1) The hospitalization period should cover the travelling date 2) Policy applicable only when the guest himself /herself, or his/her Spouse or child is admitted. 3) Doctors certificate is not considered valid for offering any waiver. 4) Hospital admission and discharge card with diagnostic summary is a Must document for suitable consideration. If your case befits the same, kindly send us the hospitalization admission / discharge summary for suitable consideration for getting the required approval and updating the booking PNR / tickets. The conditions of the refund regulate the law and the conditions of purchance of the ticket.
1. Your text is unclear for legal professional:-
name, surname, booking ref (togeather) do no match in order to locate each your ticket.
it is unclear the palce, where you had purchaced your tickets.
2. Not each air carrier, not in each country,
can apply for the refund of the value of the ticket to the unhealthy passenger only -
who produces the medical certificate which shows the impossibility of the passenger to travel on the health dissability in the date shown in the ticket clearly.
Such document is absent.
3. The refund related to the rest of your family does not bound the medical reasons anyhow.
4. No condtions of the tickets are seen from your complaint.
The passenger can apply for the refund in the place of purchace / airline office only .
Otherwise, there is a chance via the court procedure follwing the collection of all documents.
