Jetairways — not processing refund after jet airways cancelled flight no 9w 682 from lucknow to mumbai on 18/03/2019 at 06:25 hrs

Dear sir,
I booked 2 tickets for me and my wife by jetairways flight number 9w682 for journey from lucknow to mumbai on 18/03/2019 at 06:25 hrs. The booking reference (Pnr) was jmmxat and e-ticket numbers were[protected] and[protected].
About a week before commencement of journey i received a message from jetairways regarding cancellation of flight scheduled on 18/03/2019. Therefore, i contacted jetairways call centre on 14/03/2019 for refund of my booing amount. Call centre staff assured me that i would get refund within 7 days. When i don’t get any message from airline regarding refund i again contacted jetairways call centre. I was again informed by the call centre staff that refund has been processed and i would get refund within 7 days. Till date i. E. 28th march 2019 i didn’t get refund of my booking amount. To my surprise, when i contacted jetairways call centre today, the operator informed me that my refund has not been processed and it will further take 7 days.
Thus, i feel cheated by jetairways along with their call centre staff. Therefore, i request you to investigate the case and take necessary action against the call centre staff who received my call but didn’t take action for refund. I also request for refund of my booking amount plus rs 10, 000/- towards compensation for not processing refund in time.

2. Jet Airways notification of cancellation,

3. Your own written complaint, which yo had submitted to Jet Airways,

4. Jet Airways decision on refund

in copies.'

The air carrier 's duty is to process the correct complaint within 15 days or in 30 days in complicated sitations.

The possible liquidation can not be considered as difficult one for refund / compensation purpuse.

The pasenger can hire a lawyer or legal professional in civil avaition for agreed fee for futher legal action against the offender.
