Jio Airfiber — I am writing to express my extreme disappointment regarding the delay in processing my refund. | |||
I applied for a Jio AirFiber connection and paid ₹1, 200 through Google Pay. After the payment, Jio informed me that the service is not available in my area and cancelled my connection request. Even after more than two months, I have not received my refund. During this period, I have contacted Jio customer care more than 60 times and sent over 10 emails requesting my refund, but no proper resolution has been provided. Every time, I receive only assurances, and the refund is still pending. This delay is completely unfair and amounts to deficiency in service and unfair trade practice. Jio has retained my money without providing the promised service or issuing the refund within a reasonable time. I request the Consumer Commission to direct Jio to immediately refund my ₹1, 200 along with appropriate compensation for the mental stress, inconvenience, and unnecessary delay caused by their negligence. I also request suitable action against the company to prevent such harassment of consumers in the future. I kindly request that this complaint be treated as urgent and that appropriate action be taken at the earliest.
