In october 2017 i had dialed jd to seek godrej customer care number. Jd shared my contact number to a local vendor in hyderabad named a. Y. Electronics. A technician from a. Y. Electronics visited my place saying that they are calling from godrej. He removed my original compressor and charged me rs 4500.00 and gave me 1 yr guarantee. But when the time came to give me the bill he gave me a bill of a. Y. Electronics instead of godrej. I aske him for the godrej bill then he said no ma'm we give this bill only. This bill will work for you all over india.in a couple of weeks my refrigerator stopped working. I kept calling the vendor several times. Most of the times they did not pick my call and whenever they picked the call said they they will send the technician, but never sent. Then i called up godrej directly. Godrej technician when visited my place they said this is a local vendor who visited you earlier and ths vendor is not godrej's authorised dealer. The godrej technician also told me that this is a big nexus between just dial and local vendors. They have together cheated many people this way. He suggested me to call jd and ask them to do the needful. Now they can only help you. I called jd and told them the issue. Jd suggested me to file an fir against a. Y. Electronics. I asked them to resolve the issue from their end. They asked me to write a review in their portal, then they will help me getting refund. Before that i could write feedback, the technician visited my place and said that the compressor is working fine. Now he cleaned the air pipe. For that he again charged another rs 450.00 from me and again gave me 1 yr guarantee. But my refrigerator stopped working again in a week. I again called them, but this time they completely ignored and stopped answering my calls. I am an outsider and i did not have any idea that the vendor's shop is in the other end of the city. I posted my review to the website and called up jd again seeking their help. Initially they kept on saying that they will call me back and resolve the issue, but practically did nothing. After a couple of my calls they said they cannot do anything and told me to take whatever action i can take against the a. Y. Electronics.
I am wrrting this full story so that the readers can feel my pain and frustration and they should not go with the services of jd.in fact we go for online services to save our time, but end up buying unnecessary trouble for us. And also end up wasting more time.
Our details are not safe when we interact with these so-called service providers. They misuse our numbers and make money from the vendors. They together cheat us with our hard-earned money, and in return they give us only headache and sufferings.
