I recently had the unfortunate experience of hiring a maid service that provided an incredibly poor level of service. From start to finish, it was an absolute nightmare, and I strongly advise anyone considering using their services to think twice before wasting their time and money.
First and foremost, the communication with this maid service was abysmal. After paying the first instalment of the registration fees i.e. 9000/-, it was incredibly difficult to get response in terms of options as per the requirements specified by us. It took them more than 3 weeks to provide us with the options. The first maid who was finalised by us couldn't reach our house because of the reason provided - "She suddenly fell sick". Later we had to compromise on a maid with no experience against the tall claims made by the agency that they have a very good database of experienced maids. The claims were so high that Ms. Reshma confirmed that they have provided maids to many bollywood celebrities.
When the maid finally arrived, I was shocked at the lack of professionalism and skill. Not only was she aware of the day to day chores, but she also appeared to be completely clueless about how to perform even the most basic cleaning tasks. It was evident that she lacked the necessary training and experience to handle the job properly. Finally we had to let her go due to her personal issues.
We informed the agency to provide us with a replacement, however it's been more than 2 weeks that we have got any positive response.
Last week, we finalised on one more maid and we were informed that she will reach our house by 7pm. Since she didn't arrive we started following up with the agency. However, the next day we were being given a reason that "she lost her mobile and hence she has decided not to work".
After two such instances of false confirmation, we have informed the agency to refund the money. It was a complete rip-off and a waste of my hard-earned money.
In conclusion, my experience with this maid service was nothing short of a disaster. From their poor communication to the unprofessional and incompetent options, they failed on every front. I strongly discourage anyone from using their services unless you're willing to endure frustration, disappointment, and wasted money. There are undoubtedly better options available in the market, and it would be wise to explore those instead.
