I had a problem in my kitchen hob and logged a call at kaff customer care center. they sent a service engineer and service engg replaced the faulty / broken part. it was agreed to pay service / visit charge 200.00 + service tax and part charges which are aprx 300.00 + vat tax.
When requested for bill first he resisted and than sent it through courier. but the bill is also fake / incorrect. they are looting customers with tax.
#1. service tax no is not printed on bill book but they have charged @ 15%. which is inr 30.00.
#2. on part which has been replaced they have also charged service tax @ 15% which is inr 44.00. service tax is not applicable on material.
This is how they are charging full amount from the customer but have severe doubts if they are depositing the collected tax to the tax authorities.
Would like to share the invoice copy with service tax and vat department.
Last but not least, the company is changing heavily at least 15 times higher for small 0.5 inch nozzle hose connector. the cost of this hose should not be more than 20-30 rupees but they have charged inr 371.00. Was this information helpful? |
