On 12th june 2025 I had booked an alto K10 AMT AGS 2airbags model. The back story is i had approached 3 dealerships - mandovi, kalyani and RNS motors. And had got the best quote at RNS motors for the same vehicle, but kalyani motors sales rep Mr. Venkatesh gave me a call back with the enquiry affirming me that they would provide a better deal and called me to their showroom. So, i did go to kalyani motors bannerugatta road showroom and they(along with teammate Mr. Sagar and supervisor Mr.Praveen) convinced me that the deal that they are offering me was the best which Rs 2000/- more and because of the time that had got wasted in all this i agreed i told them on a condition that i need Red colour to which they assured me that it is available and that in the next week i can do the payment as i mentioned to them that i would be going for a loan. so we booked the car the same day paying Rs 5000/- as attached in the attachments. After that they did not send me the Pro forma invoice until 4 days later which delayed my loan sanction. Once the loan was sanctioned and full money was arranged they called me saying Mr Venkatesh will be coming home to collect the cheque for the same. Once he came he informed that the colour that we booked for is not available and that they had sold it to another customer and now they want me to buy the grey colour where i had particularly specified that i want the red colour and even though the knew the car was not available for me knowing my loan amount was sanctioned they came to my house and tried to convince me to buy the car that was available. Me and my family were very disappointed with this experience especially when we had all the money ready and loan sanctioned. Later when we checked with them they were in turn blaming us that we got the loan sanction delayed which i got it 1 day after they submitted the pro-forma invoice, this was the exact dialogue of the team leader Mr. Sagar- "You wanted the loan so you need to as for the pro-forma invoice" whereas in the industry its a standard practice to provide the pro-forma invoice within a day of the booking. Anyways, we were very disappointed with this experience but we let it go and asked for cancellation, so Mr Venkatesh came to my house on Saturday 21st June 2025 and took the cancellation letter from us signed and informed that they will be refunding the Rs5000/- in 2 days that is by end of day Monday 23rd June 2025.
But since that day they have been sweet talking and dodging us by telling random reasons like the spelling of the name was wrong, it will be processed in 1 hour, 2 hours, next day, end of the day and they are trying to fool us. Was this information helpful? |
