On 24.09.2022, 7pm, I bought two boxes of Double Ka Mithas: Halwa and Mysore Pak, and other items from Karachi Bakery's Airport Stall (I believe this one was near Gate no. 106) at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad. On the flight, I made sure to handle the bag containing the boxes with utmost care and did not put anything on it. But after reaching my destination and opening one of the packets containing Halwa and Mysore Pak, I found the small tray inside the box which contained the Mysore Pak to be damaged and the cellophane paper covering it torn. It seemed as though someone had taken a bite from the piece of sweet and placed it back in the tray. The experience was disconcerting and I feel apprehensive about buying Karachi Bakery products in the future as I expected stricter quality control measures from such a reputed brand.
I think this kind of mishap can be avoided if the company uses proprietary sealing tape instead of common cello-tapes for sealing their boxes as customers will be able to ensure that the box has not been tampered with prior to their purchase. I expect this concern of mine will help to enforce stricter quality control for the products and the company we all enjoy and love.
P.S. I have attached the photo of the damaged tray, but am unable to attach the photo of the invoice for some reason. It is showing an error saying that the file size is too large while it is only 3 MB.
