Karbonn Mobiles — Battery under warranty still asking for payment | |||
I recently purchased Karbonn Mobile in month of APril 2015. Usually companies provide 6 months warranty for Battery so my battery is still under warranty and it will expire on 29th of September 2015. My battery is swollen and service centre says swallon battery does not comes under warranty. I spoke to customer care they tell me I have to pay it is company policy. I have gone through the whole manual and it is no where written that if battery is swollen it is consider as warranty void. The service centre in Thane tell me I have to charge only once a day but if my usuage is high it demands charging 2-3 times a day so how can I just charge for once in a day. My concern is if my battery is under warranty and if they have not mentioned battery swollen not to be covered under warranty they should replace my battery for free of cost. They are currently asking me to pay Rs. 700. I have attached the limitations to warranty mentioned in warranty card also battery waranty limitations. I can no where see about battery swollen to be considered under warranty void. I am looking for free replacement of battery. Was this information helpful? | |||
