Karbonn Mobiles — improper service | |||
I have a Karbonn Titanium S2 handset. On 27th October the PDA of my phone was broken and I have submitted my mobile to the local Karbonn Service Centre. They assured me after checking the phone that it will take a week as they did not have the stock of PDA for the model. After a week they delayed the matter for another week and only on 10th of December, 2014 they called me and proposed me to take the phone back as the PDA is not working on the handset. I was a bit surprised and went to Service Centre. There I found that the hair crack has turned into a full screen crack and touch screen was not working which was not the case earlier when I had submitted the mobile. When I told them those issues they told that for opening the PDA this had happened. Later I went to a local shop and they told me that the screen was a minor issue, but what the service centre had done, they defected the mother board of the handset, for which during repair the handset might turn dead. I understood why the service centre had hurriedly deliver me the phone. Now my question is: 1. Does it count as a consumer issue? 2. Does Karbonn Mobile knows these matters? 3. Why don't the Karbonn Mobile Service Centre at Howrah provide a job sheet to the customer? 4. What shall I do if my Phone bocome dead? My suggestion to you don't go for Karbonn.
