The handset Karbonn Smart A1 Star was purchased on 23July 13.
Within three months it developed problems and the handset
was given to Karbonn service centre at salem on 30/10/2013
for repairs under warranty.
After more than 45 days the salem service centre informed me
that the handset cannot be repaired and said they cannot do
anything further in the matter. They asked me to take up
the matter with Karbonn customer support.
I wrote to their customer support and also spoke personaly
over phone to their Services Manager Mr.Jeevithan during the
second week of December 2013. I kept calling him every three
days and he kept on assuring me that the replacement handset
has been approved and the salem service centre will call me
in this regard. When I enquired with the salem service centre
they said they are not aware of any such developments.
Now, when I call Mr.Jeevithan on his mobile [protected], he
does not attend the call and messages me that he will call back.
But he never calls. Karbonn customer support is not replying
in spite of my reminders. Nobody is able to give me the contact
details of the higher officials to whom I can escalate the
matter. I must have written to Karbonn company atleast twenty
times and must have called the services manager atlest 50 times
but nothing seems to have brought a resolution.
