[Resolved] Karvy — Aadhar card related | |||
Dear Sir/Ma'am, We went to the Karvy Data Management Service Ltd., Megh Malhar Complex, Sector 11, Gandhinagar to get our aadhar card issued, on 07/01/2017 and specially for my father who is a senior citizen and also severely ill. His fingerprints were not recorded and even after insisting many times that they should try again, they were in a hurry and did not budge and told us that the Aadhar card will be issued without doubt. Fast forward a month and we were notified that the aadhar card has been rejected. My father being bed ridden was not able to go soon after that. Today, around 2:00 PM we went there and found out that the person registering the card is not present. We found a person named Jatin modi who claimed to be a assistant manager and started talking rudely to my father. We requested them to call the person issuing that when will he arrive, but still we were mistreated and the person Jatin modi was extremely rude, after which followed a heated argument. We left the place and will apply somewhere else. Our question being if KARVY is not able to handle clients for issuing aadhar card why do they work, plus mistreating a senior citizen also is not tolerable. We told them we will complaint and the person told us to do whatever possible, but nothing will happen to us. Verified Support May 26, 2017 Karvy Customer Care's response Dear Sir/Madam, We apologize for the inconvenience caused .we would like to inform you that the fingerprints of senior citizens won't get easily captured in the system. As per Aadhaar software / application given by UIDAI, the operator had tried all the options and got the fingerprints captured in the system at his level best and uploaded the data to UIDAI for generation of Aadhaar number generation. Here the upload file (called as ''packet'') was rejected by UIDAI System due to some technical issue which is not related to the biometrics captured. In case of such rejections, the resident has to go for re-enrolment at any Aadhaar Center. We are ready to provide you prior appointment for re-enrolment as a special case, hence please let us know your convenient date & time at[protected] / [protected]@karvy.com. Regards, Team Karvy | |||
