Hi,

I have been trying to update my address on Aadhar Card through Online mode - everytime the reuqest is rejected due to transliteration error. I am literally harassed. If this has become unmanageable then they should not provide this mode o[censored]pdate altogether - so the consumer does not waste his/her time.
I have tried everything - google translation to check, if the translation is correct; got a peer review as well. But the point is transliteration issue is not a consumer's fault - it is to be handled by the application.

Please see below the URNs for which by application has been rejected all through last 2 weeks - I have submitted a fresh request (thinking lets give it a last shot!)

    I have submitted three applications for Address change on aadhar but it is getting rejecting due to "Translition error". Pathetic part is you are not mentioning where the error is and how to correct it. I have written mail also to support desk but there in no acknowledgement from there as well. Please don't waste our time due to your issues in your systems,

    I am planning to write a mail to PMO / Aadhar headqaurter to solve his poor service from Karvy - KDMS.

      I made a request online for address updation in Adhaar Card. After sometime I check the status online, it shows "Your request has been rejected." Reject Reasons : Invalid Documents. Even I uploaded the self attested electricity bill of the current month but then also why the request rejected. Its an important concern for me. Do the needful in this matter.

        Sir,
        My client code is 3662617, Today i have a call received from Karvy Hydrabad office requesting to purchase call and put option whatever the caller has not provide me details of this. unfortunately i have permitted to me purchase call and put option but i told him not to purchase a lot of lot and if i am in lose, stop the purchasing. but the caller purchased 9000 lot and not intimate to me that high rate of brokerage charges will have to pay by me . at last i am in the loss of Rs. 37000/-(approx) . is this the service of Karvy

                For the last 1 week I have been trying to update my address on the Adhaar Self-Service Portal and the request goes to Karvy. Every update request has been repeatedly rejected by KARVY for "Transliteration Error in the Request Field".

                My latest request to be rejected is the URN Number: [protected]
                Reject Reasons : Transliteration Error in the Request Field,

                What field has the transliteration error due to which these address update requests are being repeatedly rejected? KARVY does not bother to provide the exact field for which this is being rejected and what the correct transliteration value is. There is absolutely ZERO feedback from KARVY and users are just expected to keep trying to guess what the correct value is What kind of an update system is this?

                Please forward my complaint to KARVY to get the transliteration error corrected so that the address on my Adhaar record can be corrected.

                There has been no response from Karvy on this complain. Very poor service! Will write to Govt. Authorities regarding this if I dont hear back today.

                  Today I went to one of the centres of karvy data management services in Betul(M.P.)
                  I went there to update my Aadhar card details because the spelling of my name was wrong in it.
                  I've asked the guy who was setting on front desk that what I will have to do to correct my name in Aadhar.
                  At first he dint payed attention to me because he was talking to his girlfriend on phone.
                  after waiting for 15 minutes he hung up and I have to tell him the whole story again.
                  And he told me that just bring any ID proof and we will correct the mistakes.
                  When I went there again with my ID proof (voter ID) he told me that I will have to fill a form too which I ask him why he dint tell me earlier when first came here.
                  He replied very rudely that you should have asked me. I mean how would I know that there is a form to fill which he dint tell me on first time.
                  Than again I asked where is the form he said we don't have any form now come tomorrow.
                  Than again I went there next day and asked about the form. which he told me we don't have form go to any photocopy centre and bring the form.
                  Again I told him why he is not telling me full process in one go. I got the same reply again the "You should have asked me" and started showing notices which were not even noticeable between several other notices,
                  I just stand there for 10minuts MORE asking to tell me if there is anything else he dint told me about and what else I will have to do is there any other ID proof or form I will have to fill. But he dint replied.

                  At the end he told me a new rule that we will only accept forms from 10:30AM to 12Noon. And you will have to stand in a que form 7AM because we will only take 35 forms in a day. or else you will have to keep coming again and again. I asked what kind of rule is this and showed him the notice pasted in there office which clearly says that "Forms will be accepted till 10:30AM to 5:00PM".
                  Again he replied very rudely that
                  "YAHI RULE HAI TUMKO JO KARNA HAI KAR LO, AUR AB MAI TUMKO YAHA KHADA BHI NAHI RAHNE DUGA"

                  "IT IS THE RULE DO WHATEVER YOU CAN DO, AND GET OUT I WILL NOT LET YOU STAND HERE ANYMORE"
                  and than he stand up from his chair to push me out.
                  I also asked the guy for his name so I can complain to a senior but he replied "KYA KAR LEGA BE NIKAL YAHA SE"

                  I want to ask what kind of pathetic service you are providing, recruiting such uneducated, unethical employee's who dont even know how to work or talk to the customers.

                  If karvy dint take any action against it I will go to Consumer court and will lodge complaint against you.

                      Hello,

                      I have been trying since many days to get my address changed in my Aadhar card but despite many attempts, have still not been able to. The first few tries were rejected citing a "Transliteration error" but after a few edits to places I thought might have been causing the issue, it finally went through. Now, however, it seems to be stuck at a rather frustrating part of the process: Enrollment.

                      Enrollment ID: 0000/00519/41537 14/07/2018 14:02:32

                      I first got the message saying it has been sent for further processing on Saturday, the day of application, and then another on Sunday telling me the VID. I entered the same on the status checking page and it said "This enrollment is under process. Please check again after a few days". Fair enough as it had only been a day (even though that's exactly what was claimed as Karvy's projected processing time on the BPO selection page)

                      Anyway, it has now been over two days and it still says the same thing. No updates. My father had his address changed a few days before I did and he could download his updated e-Aadhar in a day. I was hoping this could be true for me too as I need it rather immediately to open a bank account but with all the transliteration errors (errors that were not listed for my father, even though his new address was the same as mine) it has been a very long time already.

                      Please look into this. Any quick action would be incredibly helpful and appreciated. Thank you

                      The company replied with an email "[email protected]" and asked for more details to be sent there for review. My card was updated without me needing to do that. It just took a bit more time than expected.

                          Hi There,
                          I am trying to update new address and request was turned down with wrong reason.
                          1st URN - 0000/00516/36468 was uploaded with rental agreement, but this request was turned down stating that Transliteration Error in the Request Field .
                          Thereafter I applied 2nd time with same POA document and it got approved (URN - 0000/00516/63775 ), But I realised that I missed to add one word.
                          Thereafter - I reapplied again 3 times and it got rejected either stating Transliteration Error or document mismatch which is wrong. Had it been wrong it wouldn't have been approved . I request you to look into current URN 0000/00518/86516 . Current Status is Document verified and awaiting approval. Request you to process it to add missing word. Thanks.

                            I will change my address many times but always the same error existed that is the transliteration error in my address. i need it very soon so please correct it as soon as possible.i am very much thankful to your for this act of kindness.URN::[protected].                               It is very shamefull for this type of company .company itself work for their targets and brokerage only and no care about custmers.my client code is 4411050 and on 2nd and 3rd July their employees one is Rajendra seating in Bathinda trade in my ID without my permission and on raising enquiries about the same he reply that it was a mistake and we credit amount in your account . and loss by this fake trade is 7500 rupees still they not proper reply. Please help me..and guide

                                aadhaar address change online request

                                Dear Sir, I applied for AADHAAR address update online when I changed my residence recently. I uploaded gazetted officers certificate (Chief Civil Surgeon in Tamilnadu Medical Service) on his letterhead with my photograph duly attested mentioning the change of address. As per requirement, I also self attested it. My AADHAAR No.[protected] and URN [protected]. While tracking, I noticed the message "Document Verified and approval awaited"...
