I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a distressing experience we had with Kaveri Travels on 06/06/2025 while attempting to board the bus booked via RedBus. Despite reaching the pickup point on time as per live tracking, the bus driver drove away without any attempt to contact us directly.
Shockingly, the contact number listed under the driver/conductor's details in my RedBus profile was incorrect. The driver and conductor claimed they had called that number and received no answer. However, we had been calling the number provided on the ticket – [protected] – multiple times, but no one responded.
We then visited the Kaveri office and obtained an alternate contact number – [protected]. Upon calling, the driver and conductor finally answered and informed us to come to the next pickup point. When we reached there, they redirected us to another further point, and this continued until we had traveled over 10 kilometers, trying to catch the bus.
In the end, despite our efforts and repeated calls, the driver and conductor left without allowing us to board, causing extreme stress, especially for a female passenger and a 5-year-old child. This experience was nothing short of a harassment and a nightmare.
We request the following:
Immediate investigation and action against the driver and conductor for their irresponsible and insensitive behavior.
Full refund of the ticket amount due to service failure and mental harassment.
Assurance that such incidents will be prevented in the future through proper contact information validation and training of travel staff.
Please treat this as an urgent matter and respond at the earliest.
