Recently took 6 facials package of Aqua radiance from kaya atria Millenium mall. Took prior appointment which they cancelled without letting me know.Thought its ok sometimes happens so rescheduled it for later time. As usual I was on time for the services and they asked me to wait for sometime and that went upto 30 minutes without any information. After 30 min wait and continuous asking, came to know that I have to wait for another 40 minutes which was not at all acceptable. The issue was why the prior information was not there if at the same time the services were scheduled for someone else. Why I got confirmation call and why at the time of entry they didnt say that it will take 1.5 hrs and am I ready to wait.

I AM SHARING A WORST EXPERIENCE OF KAYA SKIN CLINIC GURGAON. I AM A REGULAR 4 YEAR OLD CUSTOMER OF KAYA. AS PER THEIR THEIR PROMICE , KAYA SKIN CLINIC WAS LIABLE TO TREAT MY PIMPLES AND LASER HAIR TREATMENT. I PAID THE FEES IN ADVANCE (75,000) AS THEIR FEES , BUT EVEN AFTER 4 YEARS OF NOW THERE IS NO CHANGES IN MY SKIN. ALSO THE LASER HAIR TREATMENT WAS WASTE. THERE WAS NO DIFFERENCE AFTER .

EVEN AFTER REGULAR COMPLAINTS IN KAYA THERE IS NO ACTION TAKEN FROM THEIR SIDE.
PLEASE HELP ME REFUND MY MONEY.

i had visited kaya dats the blore one... its hopeless even the products are of no use!!
more than helping it damages ur skin even more from bad to worse.. more harm is caused..
and abt the peels it makes ur skin more sensitive dat is u cannot go out in the sun, i[censored] step out in the sun ur skin becomes even more dark that to in patches which looks awful!! ur skin begins to sag, wrinkles for sure...
ater doin the peels and the mesoglows the results are the skin looks diseased!!!

I had visited the Kaya Skin Clinic in Vile Parle East, Mumbai to seek treatment for laser hair removal for chin hair. After the initial consultation, I was asked to take 8 lazer sessions for removal of chin hair. I went ahead with the treatment and the sessions. After completion of the 8 sessions I realized that not only the hair had not gone I had also developed an excess hair growth (more than twice the original number) on areas when I did not have hair before. I was really disappointed with the service and went for laser consultation to another Kaya Skin Clinic at the Lokhandwala Branch (Andheri West Branch). There the Doctor had a look at my hair growth and told me that the excess additional hair growth was triggered by the lazer. The Doctor also adviced me that it was no point in doing lazer since I was a PCOD patient, the hair would grow back again.

Apparently the Doctor at the Vile Parle East Clinic was at fault and he had also misguided me inspite of me clearly telling him that I was sufferring from PCOD. If I knew that my condition would not improve why would I invest so much time and money in it in the first place.

Also not only has my condition improved but it has clearly and visibly worsened. This is clearly the Doctors fault since how can the hair growth increase??

I want justice and I am really disappointed that Kaya would resort to misspelling and misguiding just to make a quick buck at an innocent persons cost. This is clearly unethical Business practice.

Ditto experinece with me at their clinic in Punjabi bagh, New Delhi, paid so much & on one or two occassions only doctor came to see me. So much so, when i realised my condition has worsened, I left 2 of my sessions waste to avoid any further worsening of my condition...Everyone over there just holds one interest- to cross sell & cheat more to those who had fallen to their tactics...Any one asking for KAYA & my answer would be big NO..

I, Vishakha Das visited Kaya Skin Clinic, Indiranagar branch on 1/5/2010 to get laser hair removal services (LHR) for my lower chin and upper neck area. I was given consultation, told that I was to take 6 sessions, with interval of 6 months and the total package would be Rs 11581. I requested payment option at every session and I was offered services at Rs 2317 for each session.
I have since then faced issues of confusing consultation at that clinic. I chose to change the centre at which to receive the services and moved to Kalyan Nagar, after two months of getting ready to start my services, I took my first session at this session on Nov 30, 2011. There was repeated moves to convince me to take combination of packages and I repeatedly refused to make any changes to my service request and repeated that I would like to go ahead with the same package at same cost till i see some results. At the end of the session, I was charged Rs 5000, which is more than double the agreed amount and without any intimation before.

I went to Abu Dhabi kaya clinic on 27 th Thursday October 2011 for a comso peeling(chemical peeling). There before I am already consulted one of their dermatologist and she only recommended to me for this treatment.Its have 6 sessions of the treatment and each have 600 Dhirham (7000 Indian rupees) cost.And also made me to buy 400 Dhirhams cosmetics from there.
Then after the 1 st session they told me to dont wash the face untill 12 hours and after 2 days the face pack is peel itself with skin.So I washed my face after 12 hours with cold water and waited for its peeling itself.But its start to burn after 24 hours and all the areas on my face was wounded. And its start to bleed.So suddenly I made a call to clinic but nobody picked it. So I am remember that the clinic is off all friday and saturday. So I called back them on sunday and informed mu present situation and asked them speak the dermatologist who I met. But they said she is busy and they will back. They didnt call me the whole day, then the next day aagain I called them and asked the appointment so they said that come at coming thurrsday then you can meet your dermatologist and they will call me on wednesday for confirmation. But they didnt called me and I went there but the shop is closed for EID holidays for next 5 days.In between the 5 days my wounds on face got dried and start to peel. Then after 2 days the all area on my face is big black dark marks. Then again I am called them and took the appointment in next thursday and went there. I shown my face to them but they are said that they cant do anything better go to any hospital. I am an middle class family guy and I spent lot of money for this but this people destroyed my face instead of repair. I dont ahve any option and money to go anywhere and I have to go this december to my native for my sisters marriage with this face.

I usually go to Kaya AbuDhabi Mall for facials and many times took the package and payed in advance for the services... they usually do a good job until the last time i was not happy with the service i had and when called to complain they gave me poor excuse and told me when that the manager is off and when she is back they will let her call me, of course no appology was made. i am very disappointed as i am regular client and they should know better how to deal with situation.

I have taken laser hair removal treatment from kaya skin clinic at Kalaghoda center on Feb 09 for lower face, chest, abdomen, lower back and patch on thigh.
At the time of enrollment Dr.Usha Baloukar and client coordinator Merzi told me that we will give you 6 sessions and 3 sessions complimentary but your hair will go permanently in 6 secession you will not required any other sessions.

You are all are right. I am also gone for a cosmo peeling treatment in kaya skin clinic Dhabi, UAE. and in the 1 st session itself my skin burned and wounded there areas. Then after 2, 3 days the areas became big black marks all over my face. Now they are saying they didn't anything. And already lost 10000 rupees and they are destroyed my face.I am terminated from my job because of this face and i am going to kill my self soon.

I had taken the following 2 services from Kaya Clinic (New Friends Colony branch):
1) Sally Peel
2) Under eye Aqua

I bought these 2 services during a free consultation visit at the NFC clinic.
In fact, initially I did not actually intend to buy any of the services because of the 2 reasons below:
1) Usually I have to stay sometimes in Delhi and sometimes in Noida (have my parents' and husband's houses at both the places. And also, since I work, I can visit your clinic in the evening and on weekends only.
2) Services are over priced

At the time of buying the services, I clearly stated my problem to the Manager of the NFC clinic, Tanya Pandey that I will not always be able to avail the services at one particular clinic. I was not interested in buying one but she sold the services by convincing me that I can avail the sessions from any of the Kaya clinics across the country. I just had to call her up and she will pix the appointment.

When I started taking the sessions, there was no problem getting appointments at the NFC clinic. But, when I needed to visit the Noida sector 18 clinic, that's when I problem started. Either they do not have sufficient amount of equipments or staff, I don't know the actual reason, but they are not able to give me a time slot as per my requirement. It is a very painful task for me to constantly call and follow up, either with the NFC manager or the Noida clinic itself.

In fact when I tried to share my concern the kind of response I have received is very disappointing. Instead of helping me solve the problem they were very rude.
I was very surprised to hear from the NFC clinic Manager Tanya a couple of weeks back that the Noida staff has given a feedback for me (their CUSTOMER) that I am very rigid despite the fact that I had not had any communication with them (Noida clinic) till then.

Also, there is no transparency in the way they keep a track of how many sessions of a service we have availed. They maintain a record at their end and it is not shared with the client.

Yesterday (11th July 2011), during my visit to Noida clinic, I was made to wait for almost an hour for my Under eye Aqua session and had to return back without having my session despite having appointment fixed a week in advance. I don't know what is their definition of being RIGID and how they expect their clients to fix appointments at least 3 DAYS IN ADVANCE.

Over all, my experience with Kaya clinic has been VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING. They are very good at trapping customers initially but FAIL to keep their commitments.

I am writing this e-mail, having suffered much embarrassment and trauma after undergoing laser hair removal treatment at the Kalaghoda Center of Kaya Skin Clinic.

I went to avail a service of laser hair removal for my upper lip and chin, to which I was given a free 'side locks' treatment as well.

My hormones were normal and I only had a minimal hair growth in the problem areas, that I was promised would vanish in 3-4 terns.

Nothing of that sort happened. after the 4th sitting, I began to grow coarse thick hair in those areas where I had no hair at all to begin with!

Now, instead of the 8 strands of thick hair that I had on my chin, I have numerous thick hairs sprouting everywhere along my neck and jaw, both areas that were not to be touched originally, but which were lazered by the new attendants who treated me.

The doctor was absent on all those 5 occasions. When she did see the horrible big hair, she began to give a very high voltage, after asking me whether I could tolerate the pain. However, this did not help and made matters worse.

Afterwards I was told I would need to undergo more tests and get onto harmonal pills even if my hormones were normal. And then I would have to buy a further package of treatment sessions.

My main complaints are :

1. I was never informed of the possibility of the hair growing coarser due to this treatment in some people.
2. I was not monitored by a doctor for each session.
3. I had a new attendant after the 4th session who began to administer the laser in areas that were not originally marked. As a result, now I have much hair in those areas.
4. I have not been given corrective treatment.
5. My payment has been accepted in full, although I was given faulty and counter-productive, harmful treatment.

I wish to state here to anyone who is planning to undergo this treatment- permanent laser hair removal is a HOAX. In any case, you will have to undergo numerous 'follow-up sessions. The hair may only thin out if you are lucky. But if you are given the wrong treatment, you could end up with horrible big thick hair growth where you has small fine hair, due to the folicles getting stimulated. You will also end up with pimples when the hair begins to grow out. And it will grow in such places that its hard to spot yourself and even harder to remove through threading and tweezing.

Please beware.

And Kaya Skin Clinic, I expect a responsible reply to this complaint. I have all the bills and a photocopy of my 'file' kept by you. I also possess the backing of one of your employees who was treating me at that time. As well as the acceptance by your inhouse doctors that my case was mucked up.

It has been 20 days since I posted that complaint, Kaya only pasted that standard reply below my complaint, however I have not heard from them since I sent them an e-mail on the address that they've specified.

So, the customer complaint redressal also seems to be a hoax like the rest of their service claims...

Its a shame.

I am contemplating legal action.

I have taken laser treatment at kaya Skin clinic for my chest and abdomen portion. I was initially satisfied with their service. I could find changes in my hair growth type. But once my package was over i realized that the six sessions were not at all a permanent solution. After 4- 5 months of my package completion, I have found that the hair type is same as i used to have prior to going for this package! I am highly dissatisfied with the service. Now when i go to them, they keep giving me excuses saying there must be some hormonal dis-balance and that I have to go for maintenance sessions. I have already paid Rs. 56000. And i feel it to be useless to go for further sessions.

oh God,
good u informed others, i m also undergoing laser treatment for underarms, bikini n legs, and paid 50, 000Rs already.
though my four sittings are over, i still see long and dense regrowth on my treated body part.
this is nothing but cheating to consumer by kaya clinic Ludhiana, my skin specialist there is DR SHWETA, the coordinator is also Ms Shweta and Ms Aditi.There contact number is [protected]and [protected] .they should be brought to books by police complaint for cheating to client for substandard treatment and false claims.
we want justice from KAYA CLINIC three gp owners, they cannot exploit Indian women like this emotionally and economically
letz file a case against them in CONSUMER COURT TOGETHER, this mother days this the the best thing do if they dont resolve the issue with in their preview, .

The hair may only thin out if you are lucky. But if you are given the wrong treatment, you could end up with horrible big thick hair growth where you has small fine hair, due to the folicles getting stimulated. You will also end up with pimples when the hair begins to grow out. And it will grow in such places that its hard to spot yourself and even harder to remove through threading and tweezing.

Please beware.

And Kaya Skin Clinic, I expect a responsible reply to this complaint. I have all the bills and a photocopy of my 'file' kept by you. I also possess the backing of one of your employees who was treating me at that time. As well as the acceptance by your inhouse doctors that my case was mucked up.

Even with me.. i have taken their Glyco pill and EDR (kind of facial dey have). i have completed all sessions of Glyco (result is 40% dts it) but for EDR i have done only 1 session where i was not at all satisfied (clean up at ur local beautician will be much better than this) so i asked them to adjust with another treatment what they are ready to adjust is
i paid 5500 for 6 session (when they were offering discounts)
i had 1 session
now refund they are offering is 2200
i dont understand their calculation... may be cheaters have their own formulas
i strongly recommend not to take any services from Kaya

hi i am piyush baid , 25 yr old boy from kolkata. i went to kaya skin clinic, loudown st branch in kolkata for just a casual checkup for my skin . the doctor examined my skin and told me ,to buy a couple of products from the mens range which was for rs1600. i purchased that and he told me to sign up for a acne treatment which costed me approximately 22 k (with some facial packs also for which there was a additional charge) for 8 sessions. after the 2 or the 3rd session i was told to get a commedon extraction done, which was another 7k, i signed up for that . The next time i went, i found that there were no results , infact i had more acne than what i ever had before. the doctor again suggested me to go in for a meso glow for 8 sitting which was another 22k. when i went for the 2nd seating for the meso glow, my acne treatment was not being done, n they did a derma roller treatment , which was another 6 k . ITS A BIG WASTE OF MONEY , and they purposely make customers sign up for 8 sittings, which is never completed, and start another and another treatment., which is more harmful for the skin. They had suggested me for a botox too for my forehead, i had consulted some of the eminent doctors of kolkata, n told me that i dont even need all of this , and its just a waste of money and spolis the skin , if its done at an age of 24-25. They kust make the consumers a fool., extract monay b7y ginving new tratments when you are getting the treatment done. When i asked for the refund , they told me to take another session or get something else done. I have wasted more than 50 K + there, with no results. I have spoke to a couple of my friends n relatives too, they had the same experience with this kaya skin clinic, which is just a business making clinic instead of a proper MEDICAL CLINIC FOR SKIN.when i asked for the refund they just tell me visit the branch to get some thing else done from the balce of which is due to them . they owe me approximately 25k+

I ve done a cosmo peel from Dr. Kundu in City center kolkata. He is really a very good doctor. My out put was morethan i expected!!! and now I wanted to go for Derma roller. As he is not available there. Who are present there now, They are not making the communication clear when consulting later asking us to go for another one for better result before starting the derma roller section... This irritates me a lot.

This is with regards to Client Code - SLK9713. Customer has been cheated and allegedly treated without following the processes set by the Organisation for BOTOX with an aid to earn money.

Customer with the above Client Code has been hidden that the BOTOX treatment requires prior doctor's permission and is a needle involved treatment. Not only attendant by name Sumona has hidden the fact even the doctor -Dr. Som executing the treatment indulged such mal practices.

Since 24th of Dec 2010 the client is facing mental anxiety and visiting Kaya Skin Clinic wherein every time new medicines are being added and new treatments are being done with the client facing new reactions on face. The worse part is Doctor has started threatening that if she complains about him - he would be making false report stating customer had given her consent.

The Clinic is even refusing to pay back the treatment money that she has enrolled so far as her face has become worse than at what she had started treatment in Kaya Skin Clinic, believing in the brand.

If the same is not addressed seriously - will be forced to approach Media and file a case against Kaya. Taking advantage of Goodwill -some branches are cheating customers and playing with their emotions and money.

Want not only refund of the enrolled money since inception but also want compensation of 3 lacs in addition for the mental anxiety and tension within the family members. Moreover Sumona should be immediately sacked and Dr. Som's license should be discontinued with immediate effect

I have been taking laser treatment from you Gaurav Towers center in Malviya Nagar. I have a very strong feedback about them.

I started with an underarm lazer treatment. The underarm service has been okay mostly apart from the facet that many times the service was given without the presence of doctor!

I had some extra hair growth on my lower face and on the recommendation of your lady doc (found there in one of the underarm sittings) I opted for lower face hair reduction.

The first session for face (done around the time of Diwali, 2010) was bad. The lady was in a lot of hurry and she kept on bothering me by telling that other clients are waiting. She was in so much hurry that she forgot to give me safety gear for my eyes and for the gums. The lazer really hurt me on my teeth. Also she shaved my face unevenly and didn't cover the jaw line properly. Then later my face wasn't cleaned properly and I had a very sticky face. I had to ask her to clean my face again for which she shifted to me another room since other customers were waiting!

I somehow tolerated it and went for second sitting in non-rush hours. The second one was done by a guy and he was very proper.

Now from a couple days I have been trying to take an appointment for the 3rd sitting for face. I got an appointment for 19th Jan 2011. When I reached there at 10:10 AM the clinic was locked. I waited outside and rechecked at 10:20 AM to know from a boy that "madame called and told she's late and she has the keys you'll have to wait for 10-15 mins". And this is it. They did not have the courtesy to even give me a call in case of delay.

I have no idea what kind of an attitute is this! I'm in job and I know what professionalism is. I won't buy the excuses of getting late or any other non sense. I am very frustrated with thier staff and their attitute. These guys sound so polite and nice when customer is buying the package... but once the money is in... they just don't care!

Another friend of mine is also their customer and she has also faced lot of issues in taking appointments.

I sent them this whole matter on [protected]@kayaindia.net asking what would they like to suggest I do now but there is simply no response! I want that return my money in full for face and for the last sitting remaining for underarm but sure there is no one to listen now. After this kind of treatment I am scared if I'm even been given the correct therapy!

Since my complaint has been totally ignored...I guess my last resort only be the consumer court now.

I completely agree with your feedback. I have been undergoing some skin treatment package from this center and the response has been pathetic in recent past.

If I had known the kind of treatment they give to their customer after they have sold the package I would not have gone for it.

I would not recommend any of my acquintances to be be a part of this insensitive outlet.

I have not received any emails from you guys. After this episode happened I did receive a call from your Mumbai office for an appointment in another branch which I declined. This guys also said that he is not aware of any complaint from my side. he will check and return to me but as one would expect he never returned.

It looks like you people think customers are fools. If he was not aware of the complaint why did he offer me to take an appointment at another center? And why on earth did I get a call from your Mumbai office? I have been taking the treatment from last one year and I never recieved such call earlier!

i took free consultation in juhu mumbai they suggested some peel for making fair colour i make up my mind & told thm will start next month. i got to know kaya is in jaipur also as i stay in jaipur thought to take it from jaipur only. but unluckily i happened to go to jaipur clinic located at jaipur MI Road 1 guy by the name of Manoj told me that he will do service at home as was finding it expensive and asked for discount as in their parlor it is expensive he come & did my service by showing the kaya skin clinic bottle i trusted and paid him 1550.for some lightening fair complexion i study in mumbai and i got several dark patches. and now there is no solution and face become bad more cant say to my. i called kaya mumbai and they say we do not provide home service i told i got it in jaipur but no revert. want compensation.

I went to kaya Sindhi Colony center almost 4 years back. service was pathetic they could not even recognize the type of treatment customer required.I paid Rs.18000 for that package.My skin became worse by every session of that package.and when i complaint about that doctors they changed the facial which was even more worse.
A normal parlor can give us better service than this. all r fake promises and total waste of money.

i have also spent 25000 in kaya but nothing was there in my face, my face skin was uneven because of kaya today my mum & dad and my would be huby keep on blaming me for spending money in kaya .i will never ever recommend anyone of my friend for kaya because they just know to keep fake thing up but result is nill.

I took a Scarlet laser service from Kaya Skin clinic for my Acne Sacrs on my cheeks, The doctor and the other staff assured that after taking the treatment the scars will be vaguely visible. But after taking three painful sessions the results remain the same.There is no improvement for the scars on my cheek.
Accidentally I paid the full amount in the Ashok Nagar Branch clinic, and now they are not willing to give proper service or book an appointment with the doctor. I paid 72, 000 Rupees to get the service done and now they are telling me to pay extra for getting other service to diminish the scars and pigmentation.
No response was given from the Kaya Quality assurance team even after making several phone calls.

I regret choosing Kaya for my treatment.

my name is vikas pareek, i took one service from kaya skin clinic Gaurav tower jaipur, from Mr Hemant kumar godwani, he offered me another service in just rs 3000 which is actually costed over rs 8000, and said we will not give you any kind of bill of invoice for that service, i agreed and had another service form Hemant kumar godvani, and this time he did that season in a casual way and my sking get burned and i have a lots of dark marks over my neck, then i called him and tell him about this, he dosent bother about it, and abuse me over the phone, after that i went to the kaya skin clinic gaurav tower jaipur personally, the manager is also favouring him and not giveing any satisfing answer, then we called the toll free no. of kaya skin clinic they said we will take action against him but still no progress and i want someone take action against him and the manager who is favouring him, i dont know what to do, to whome to contact regarding this matter.

I have visited kaya pune for marks around my nose and chin area.On day 1 they told me that they would do a skin test which would help figure out the actual cause and treatment for the same.The dermatologist came in but there was no skin test done. She just asked me to do a treatment called cosmo peels wherein I had to do 6 sessions which would cost me 15400/- exclusive of the kaya products.I was then asked to buy kaya cleansers,blemishers & comodone cream wherein I was again charged a bomb. My skin got worst & I started getting breakouts all over my cheeks and forehead.I went back to them but they told me that I need to go in for another package called pimple free treatment which included another 6 sessions & would sumup to 8k.I did one session of this treatment only to add to my misery.My face had flared up completely after this treatment & when I told them about it they told me to stop using all kaya products & suggested something new which I had to buy from the chemist. I realised that they have no knowledge whatsoever and just do a trial and error on ur face.If I don’t get a refund I will make sure I sue them.I have done a research on the net about good dermatologist in Mumbai & my skin is much better now.

I am taking laser treatment at kaya Skin clinic rajouri garden for lower face. I am really unhappy with the treatment. Initially i was actually satisfied by the reduction in the growth of the hair but once my package was over i realised i will have to do maintenance once in three months. Maintenance is not less expensive to do once in two months or even three months. Initially while taking the package i was told that i might have to do a maintenance once a year but now it looks like i have to do once in two months for upper lip. Recently from KAYA CLINIC GK2 NEW DELHI I TOOK MY LAST SESSION ON 30JAN 2015 AND TODAY IS 4 FEB 2015 MY HAIRS ARE BACK AND WHILE DOING SESSION THEY HAVE BURNT MY SKIN TOO WHAT IS THIS???? SHE CHARGED ME 1900 FOR MAINTENANCE SESSION FOR UPPER LIP AND UPPER NECK AT 50% DISCOUNT GOING ON AND NOT GIVEN EVEN BILL ALSO SHE SAID BILL WILL COME TO YOUR REGISTERED MOBILE NO. BUT TILL NOW I DIDNT RECEIVED YET. Why do you'll promise something and not offer the same. Because i took the package i referred my friends and cousins and now no one is happy with Kaya, all of them is unsatisfied . I would realely appreciate if some higher officials at kaya would look into the matter and RETURN MY LAST SESSION MONEY I.E RS 1900ASAP.

Kaya Skin Clinic, I don't know who invented this and what they thought about the servicing they are providing. It’s just to grab money from customer by offering big words and cheating with their bad products.

I have taken a laser treatment with kaya for upeer lips nad lower face for permanent hair removal/reduction a year and half back. From the first few session only I don't see result, every time I tell them they used to provide excuse it will take some time to response, you will see the result end of the session but even after taking all the session I don't see any result even after taking 2-3 additional laser sessions, in fact I see it worst. The growth on my face has become darker & thicker; it does not cover even with the bleach nor is it removed with wax. I complain but they are stick to their word, they see the result because they don't want to give the refund. Every time they give same hormones excuse to all women though I have shown all my reports to them well in advance. It is very obvious all women’s with unwanted hair on face may have hormone problem therefore such women’s only opts for the hair reduction offers, normal hormone women which is very rare these day would not have any such unwanted hair on unwanted areas problem. I believe kaya has cheated me and many more women’s by their big faulty advertisements. I would like to warn all the women’s not to take any service or products from Kaya, it is waste of money and spoiling your skin. They are not giving me refund even after spoiling my skin, my time and money.
They don't have customer ethics.

Please read my story below.

Permanent Hair Removal - A farce. Faulty treatment and factual misrepresentation
I am writing this e-mail, having suffered much embarrassment and trauma after undergoing laser hair removal treatment at the Kalaghoda Center of Kaya Skin Clinic.

I went to avail a service of laser hair removal for my upper lip and chin, to which I was given a free 'side locks' treatment as well.

My hormones were normal and I only had a minimal hair growth in the problem areas, that I was promised would vanish in 3-4 terns.

Nothing of that sort happened. after the 4th sitting, I began to grow coarse thick hair in those areas where I had no hair at all to begin with!

Now, instead of the 8 strands of thick hair that I had on my chin, I have numerous thick hairs sprouting everywhere along my neck and jaw, both areas that were not to be touched originally, but which were lazered by the new attendants who treated me.

The doctor was absent on all those 5 occasions. When she did see the horrible big hair, she began to give a very high voltage, after asking me whether I could tolerate the pain. However, this did not help and made matters worse.

Afterwards I was told I would need to undergo more tests and get onto harmonal pills even if my hormones were normal. And then I would have to buy a further package of treatment sessions.

My main complaints are :

1. I was never informed of the possibility of the hair growing coarser due to this treatment in some people.
2. I was not monitored by a doctor for each session.
3. I had a new attendant after the 4th session who began to administer the laser in areas that were not originally marked. As a result, now I have much hair in those areas.
4. I have not been given corrective treatment.
5. My payment has been accepted in full, although I was given faulty and counter-productive, harmful treatment.

I wish to state here to anyone who is planning to undergo this treatment- permanent laser hair removal is a HOAX. In any case, you will have to undergo numerous 'follow-up sessions. The hair may only thin out if you are lucky.
