I developed a severe acne problem and went to kaya for a treatment. I paid for a skin peel treatment and booked an appointment with the doctor on 23 june at 1 pm.
I get a confirmation call at 10 am on 23 jun checking if i will arrive for the appointment. I received a call again at 11 am informing me that my doctor would not be present and what i would like to do? I was surprised at being called back within an hour of confirming the slot and then even more surprised at the question!
I asked the lady on the other side if the doctor was immaterial to the treatment and she promptly assured me that the doctor who saw needed to be there for the treatment. I was confused. I didn’t know if she was subtly asking me to cancel my appointment. When i asked her so, she profusely denied any such attempt and offered me services of their senior doctor. Having confirmed the same, i receive another call at 12:15 where i was told that the senior doctor is not available!
At this point, i feared for my skin. I informed them that i did not trust my face in the hands of clinic that couldn’t handle one appointment in three hours and they were so confused till 45 minutes before my slot.
I landed up the clinic and asked to speak to manager, to explain my fear, my loss of faith in their services and my frustration.
I wanted to cancel my appointment and get a refund of my payment. Should i be surprised to learn that the clinic manager was not present. None of the staff knew when she would come in. As i stood there arguing with the front desk, another client came in from almost 25kms away for a 12 pm appointment. With the senior doctor only to find out that he was not available for a “confirmed” appointment!
I have no room for doubt that i will ever risk my face or acne with a clinic like this. I want a refund and want to cancel my treatment!
Well, turns out that they don’t refund the money till 3 weeks later!
At this point i have lost all faith! If this goes to rajiv nair, he should know that he is running a business that can thrive only on customer trust. And his team is in no way doing that.
Can someone please cancel my treatment and refund my money in 3 days like any other businesses would do instead of 3 weeks that only reinforces that incompetence of your organisation!
