KDMC — Complaints against street dogs

I am a resident of [ A/503 Venubai Sadan Garibacha Wada, Mahatama Phule Road, Dombivli west] and would like to bring to your attention the increasing problem of stray dogs in our Area.

A large number of stray dogs roam freely in the area, creating nuisance and safety concerns for residents. These dogs often chase pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles in group, especially during early morning and late evening hours and in the mid night. There have also been instances of dog bites and aggressive behavior, causing fear among children, senior citizens, and other residents.

Additionally, the dogs scatter garbage on roads, creating unhygienic conditions and contributing to public health concerns.

We kindly request the Municipal Corporation (KDMC) to take appropriate action, such as:

Conducting a survey of street dogs in the area.
Arranging for their vaccination and sterilization.
Relocating aggressive dogs as per applicable regulations.
Taking necessary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of both residents and animals.
