I had placed an online order for one Kelvinator Electric Kettle Model No. KEKP00220 on 21 Feb 22 through JioMart portal (Order No.[protected]A). It was delivered to me by Ecom Express Courier Service on 07 Mar 22. On opening the package, the said kettle was found to be broken/ having a crack of about 2" length. I reported the damage via e-mail to JioMart on 09 Mar 22, immediately on opening the package. All details and proof was provided to them. I requested them for replacement of the product. All required details and proof have been submitted to them. JioMart responded by conveying that since the matter has not been reported within 24 hours of delivery, hence nothing can be done. So they did nothing. I then reported the matter to Kelvinator India. They were also provided with all details and proof. Their customer service called me after a couple of days and conveyed that they also cannot repair the plastic body. I then requested Kelvinator India for replacement, which they also point blank denied. Result is, that I am now stuck with a broken electric kettle for which I have paid Rs 500.00 to JioMart. It has a warranty of 2 years, which is of no use. I request for your intervention please.
