Dear Sir,
I purchased a Kent Grand + purifier system from Kent Ro dealship at Kanpur on 27/05/2009. From starting i am facing a lot problem. Even I have given information so mant times to Kent Ro service center. But till date no repose is getting from company. The problem details are as under.

- TDS fluctuation.
- Noising in machine.
I think this is a manufecturing problem. Please replace my RO machine at the earliest.

I had purchased one KENT PEARL MINERAL RO from JODHPUR(M/s MOHATA TRADERS, Gole Building, Nehru Park Road Sardarpura) on 14 May 2012(invoice No-336, RO Ser No-KR[protected]. The system is working OK .At the time of installation one Mr Suresh had come as service engineer . He gave us his contact No for calling him after 06 months. Despite repeated calls, he is yet to come and clean the system. Pl expedite or suggest alternate No from where a service engineer may come for the servicing. Pl expedite.

    Hi,

    This is to inform you that we have faced very bad service from Kent RO service man whom we called for the service of RO, he charged us money but did not do any service, the whole week We had to drink the normal tap water, kids must have fallen sick as their exams are also going on, One week later again we called him and then he rectified the RO, but our concern is that once they charge for any thing then they must be able to give the best service, kindly look into the matter, the Service man's name is Santosh with Contact No [protected].

      I am not sure is there any meaning for a complaint in india or not. But still want to try as a responsible citizen. I am using KENT water purifier, the servicing part of KENT is just cheating. They are sending some third party vendors, who doesnt have any knowledge on what they are doing also. I argued and complained to karnataka regional officer as well. Yesterday my kent got serviced after lot of fight, from today again its not working. No guarantee or anything they will give. Not sure is there any justice for consumers in india or any value of this type of complaint. I am expecting there is some responsible officer to handle this, so just want try my luck on this. We should shut this type of companies who doesnt provide service properly to the customer.
      It seems in india, since we dont have any option to live we are living with these pathetic people.

      I hope some response fo this complaint. I am ready to provide all details.

        I purchased RO Kent model GRAND PLUS MINERAL RO vide Invoice No. KENT 59 dated 21-apr-2010 from M/S Sampark India, Dehradun. I understand that company is ISO 9001:2000 certified company. As per ISO standards each part of the product must have specifications and assured quality checks. Learnt this also only, I purchased this costly product compared to similar products in the market by other vendors. Brand ambassador is Hemaji of course my Favorite forced me more to do so. After installation I noticed the unusual sound, which I reported to the installer, which he told me that it is the normal sound by this product. Hearing this I called Mr. Pranay Uppal, Sales Manager, RO and asked him the specifications of the motor especially sound level in terms of decibel. He was unable to tell me and told that we do not have specifications on this. He agreed that motor is making unusual sound, which he heard of his own over the mobile. He assured me that motor would be replaced with in 2 days. Being assured by him on 27-apr-2010 till date i.e., 15-may-2010 after regularly follow-up the problem is not rectified. Thus I am forced to call up next higher level for which I asked the contact no which sales manager could not give me. May, I as a consumer forced to such hardship and harassment by the reputed company like KENT.
        SERVICE AFTER SALES OF RO KENT IS EXTREMELY POOR AND I SHALL NOT RECOMMEND THE PRODUCT.

        KENT Grand RO — Unusual Sound

        We are experiencing unusual noise in the RO filter occasionally. We purchased the filter in June 2009. The serial no is KR[protected]. We contacted the person Mr. Gangadhar who sold us the product.He denies the service on the pretext saying that he did not sell hence cannot render service. He has given telephone of other person who also denies having sold to us. This is really ridiculous. We have crossed one year and may get devoid of the warranty.

        We appeal through this forum to address the issue in its right perspective.

        kent ro mineral — after sales service

        (i) A Kent RO was purchased vide invoice no. 0001 dated 02.04.2010 from authorised dealer of Kent at 1-Basement , Ellora complex, Near Hanuman Mandir,Khandari Agra 282002

        While selling the product they had promised us to provide after sales service on every 3months , same has not been provided

        while selling the product they had promised us to provide rebook coupon worth of Rs.3600/- , same is stll awaited

        while selling the product they had promised us to provide a tap with propoer outlet but the same has not been provided

        in this connection many mails have been sent to the company concerned but nothing has happened so far

          I have purchased a Kent Grand+ RO System (Domestic) from M/s Real Value Marketing, No.1, Sait Colony,First Street,IInd Floor,Egmore, Chennai - 600008 on[protected] for an amount of Rs.14,500/ with a warranty of 01 year. On 6th April,2010, as the said machine was not working, I contacted the said agency over phone several times but there was no response from the agency. Therefore, I contacted the Regional office of Kent RO Systems Ltd located at 706A, Shivalaya ,196, Ethiraj Salai, Egmore, Chennai - 600008 and informed the condition of the RO system. They apprised me that the above said agency is no more as they absconded with some amount so that they will arrange an alternative agency to get the RO system repaired/serviced from my area.( i.e. Tambaram West). Accordingly, an technician from the agency namely M/s VGM Enterprises located at No.37,Near Indian Scan, Duraiswamy Pillai Street,Tambaram West, Chennai - 600045 visited my residence on[protected] and he inspected the equipment but he could not find out the fault in the equipment. He said, he will come next day with another technician to find out the fault in order to get it rectified. On[protected], the said technician with another technician visited my residence and at last they found the fault in the equipment. The fault was in the Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) and they said the SMPS is to be replaced and the cost will be around Rs.1100/-. I told them that the equipment is in under warranty, the SMPS is to be replaced at free of cost and the cost will be borne by the company. Accordingly, I spoke with Mr.Suresh, Reg.Manager,Kent RO Systems Ltd,Egmore,Chennai over phone and he promised that the SMPS will be replaced at free of cost and the company will bear the expenses. Thereafter, whenever I approached the present agency (i.e.M/s VGM Enterprises,Tambaram West) over phone, they are on the pretext that the spare is not available with them and the spare part is expected from Delhi in the third week of April 2010 and as soon as they receive the spare part,they will replace it to get the equipment in order. Every alternate day, when I contacted the present agency, they are on the same pretext that the spare part has not yet been received by them. On[protected], when I contacted Mr. Suresh, Regional Manager,Kent RO Systems Ltd., Chennai, he is not at all bothered to reply my questions and said "you can do whatever you want" we can do nothing. I did not expect such reply from a responsible person and such person is not fit for such post. Request to get my equipment rectified at the earliest.

          Whenever we need a RO system, the agencies will run behind the customers with sweeten promises/words and when the equipment gets repairs, nobody will promptly attend or get the equipment repaired. In such occasions, the customers should run after the agencies and the Companies.

            I have purchased Kent Grand Plus Water Purifier on 20.04.210 from Lotus Electronics, Saket, Indore.

            Kent technician visited my house on 21.04.2010 and installed the same.

            However, one of the feature " The purifier automatically Shuts off when the storage tank becomes full" is not working.The water is overflowing from the storage tanker when the storage becomes full and does not automatically shuts off.

            When complaint is made with Kent service centre, a technician visited my house on 23.04.2010 and done some repair work. However, the problem is not resolved.

            I have again made a complaint on 23.04.2010 and 24.04.2010, but non of the technician has visited my house for the same. I have written mails to [protected]@kent.co.in but no revert received inspite of several reminders. It seems , the mail id is just given for posting queries and for not reverting to queries.

            kent water purifiers — Service NOT Delivered

            Even after taking & paying for 1 year Service Charges; Kent Water Purifiers are not delivering service at all !!!

            Even after making complaints & service requests, nobody has turned up even after 2-3 weeks. Though their SLA is 24 hrs !!!! Calls were made to remind them about the complaint numbers; still no response and nobody turned up.

              I bought one KentRO purifier on 13th Aug 2009 from one Mr. M.S.Reddy
              (ph: [protected]). While purchasing the purifier, this guy made tall claims of Kent
              service and assured that his technicians will be there for any issue and his office is in
              Mahadevpura (bglr), very near my residence.

              Recently (after 8 months of purchase), my Kent purifier had some issues and when I called
              this guy, he was kind of very rude and indicated that he's just a sales person and should not
              be called directly and for any issues, I should call the help-line number given on my bill receipt.

              The bill receipt indicated that the purifier was sold by 'Good Mineral RO' (H.S.R layout branch)
              and I filed my complaint (complaint number 1091) on Apr-9'2009. Till this date I have called their
              customer care number[protected] at-least 50 times in last 14 days and every time I call,
              the lady at customer desk would mention that the technician (Mr Ravi Kumar, ph:[protected])
              will come that day. Indeed their technician visited one time and instead of fixing the problem,
              broke one electrical jumper and never returned back.

              I have called numerous times to their customer care, technician and their manager (Mr Nagesh
              ph: [protected]) and hardly able to get them. The technician/manager don't even pick the
              phone. The customer care lady's response is same every time I call "our technician will definitely
              visit your home today".

              I am really frustrated with the after-sales support, I am getting from 'Good Mineral RO'.
              Will appreciate, if I can get some assistance in this regards..

              to whomesoever it is concerned, shame on u people .i hv been complaining for last week but all in vain.no one turned up till now.
              They are really big cheaters, and try to fool the customer. There service people are again one more headache. Avoid them totally and request your friends to know about them. The best option is to contact the Kent Head Office Noida and from there get the Bangalore representative number and he would guide you to genuine dealer and genuine person who provide good services. GOOD MINERA RO are USELESS and have made up thier mind to look for fool people in bangalore and dupe them.

                I had purchased Kent Grand plus RO system on 17th Jan-2010 from M/s Joystick Health care , Surat, Gujarat. After the First free service, your RO system are giving frequent problems and water is not being filtered properly by RO system. Four times i had called your representative with in 15 days duration time for check up & repairs. Every times the respresntative either clean the sediment filter or replace the solenoid switch.

                Due to above, i am facing problems and i need to purchase an additional water bottle from external aganecy though i have a RO system with me.

                While purchasing the RO system i had given a special consideration to kent for its better service and quality. I am sorry to say that i was wrong.

                I am very much fad up by your RO system. Look into the problem and possible replace the complete machine with new one or return the money back.

                  i made many complaints to KENT as well as dealer, but no body came for repair / replace the product though it is under warranty.please suggest me what action should i take. as they are saying purchase a new kent again, we do not have service person to repair it.

                    We have purchased one Kent RO purifier from his dealer M/s Pratham Enterprises(Show Room) Shop No.53,Shivaji Complex Navjeevan Vihar,Vindhyanagar,Singrauli,M.P.-486885.on 29.06.09.The Unit Sr.no.is KR[protected].

                    Since bigning we are facing problem in this purifier and their service representative comes and attend the problem but permanent solution for the same we have not received till date.

                    Now a days some major problem has occured since one month and their service representative coming to attend the problem but after few hours again some problem arises.Since a month we are facing extreme problem and we with our family are bound to drink Mineral water from outside.Several times we have requested to replace the complete system as it is in complete warranty period.They are not taking it seriously as a result we have come to this decision.

                    We request you only to get replaced my complete unit.

                        I brought kent purifier from reliance digital, according to them they will give the service within 24 hours. But from last one week I am calling Reliance digital customer care number and they are not sending their support staff to visit my house for kent water purifier service.

                        My complaint number is: 567593 - Even they have delete my old complaint number from their database.
                        I ask them that I want to speak to their manager but they refuse to do that - They are they do not have enough support staff and manager to manage them.

                        I brought kent purifier(Sl No KR[protected] from NATIONAL COOL CENTRE, sALES AND SERVICE, GALLA MANDI ROAD, SHIVAJI CHOWK, MAIN MARKET, RUDRAPUR, U.S.NAGAR, UTTARAKHAND, according to them they will give the service within 24 hours. But from last one week I am calling at their customer care number as they have provided ([protected]) and they are not sending their support staff to visit my house for kent water purifier service.

                        Every day they have a new excuse for doing nothing. Even though when I told them that I will complain to higher authorities, the shopkeeper used abusive language and threat me to see (MAI DEKH LUNGA ).

                          We have a complaint of repeated water overflow during night hrs, due to which our kitchen cabinet (wooden) is getting spoiled.
                          we have lodged repeated complaints with the Service Franchisee "Raj Associates" ,but they are doing the service casually and are unable to rectify the problem coming every now & then for last about six months.
                          Lately they have started to misbehave with me for repeated calls made by me for non rectification of problem by them. Please help, we have paid Rs 3550/- for AMC.

                            Dear Sirs,
                            Renewal of AMC – 2009-10


                            I have renewed my AMC for Kent Water Purifier in the month of November 2009 vide cheque No. 11478 for Rs. 750/= . The cheque was cleared on 8.12.2009 but till date none of your maintenance personnel have visited us in spite of several reminders. I have complained on 9th March and again on 31st March 2010 the complaint No. being[protected].

                            Each time I have complained I have been informed that the person would be visiting the next day, but so far nobody has turned up. When I enquired again, I was told that the maintenance personnel has visited my place whereas nobody has come to my place.

                            When I called up Mr. Anil, Kent Service, today, he has not given proper information. In addition, he has been very rude in his reply. If you are not interested in servicing the Kent water purified, I would request you to kindly refund the amount of Rs. 750/= with interest within one week failing which I will be forced to take Legal, civil/criminal action against you. While renewing the contract your Delhi Office had promised that monthly maintenance will be carried out and I would not have to call up the office to remind them.

                            I tried to contact Mr. Gupte on his mobile who did not receive the call. When I called up the Office I was told that he has gone to Sales Office. I was asked to provide my mobile No. and was told that he would be contacting me. I have provided the telephone twice but have not heard from him so far. Again I called up Sales Office when I was informed that he is available only at the Service Centre.

                            Your early action will be appreciated.

                              Dear Sir,
                              This is with reference of Kent RO system complaint regarding poor service by technical staff. We are using Kent RO system at our office, RO system is failed to purify the water repeatedly. Now it has totally stopped purifying the water. We registered an urgent complaint with customer care department of Kent at its Noida (UP) office. Executive assured that their technician will attend the complaint within 24 hours. Despite everyday calling and reminding, answer is same that someone will attend by the evening but noone turns for service.
                              Now even after one week there is noone to check the machine.It seems that Kent RO is totally focusssed on sales and all the false promises are being done to cheat the customers. Once the product is sold out, customers like helpless victims of salesperson.
                              We'll never recommend this company product to any other customer.
                              Damn negative and worse service example by Kent RO System for reference complaint no. 364003.

                                Purchased KENT -RO Water system with lot of expectations... few months after the installation the Motor/Pump kept on for Hours even though the water level is full and drofting out of the storage tank.... every time they visited but nothing has happened to rectify the problem hence the Pump is in bad shape now in just more than 1 yr time. the Dealer cum Service provider at Kolkata just waited till the Warranty period so that they can force to pay for the AMC. after i have paid them the money they changed 2 out of 3 filters but all of them are blocked in justa month period. recently my unit was services as ther were no Water filtration... Carbon filter is discunnected , I dont know why....


                                its a very poor kind of service and forcing the brand to loose reputation..

Not good response by the your dealer. i call to again -again to mr. navneet jee. ([protected]) but not response. i think navneet jee is a not responsible man for this . i got service after 1-2 weeks after complain.so plz. you talk to your dealer for this matter. and to solution our problem. i hope that best servive received in the future by your team.thanking you.

                                  Greetings for the day.I am consumer of Kent RO system from last 6 years and once I switched to Noida from their my turmoil has started.I paid almost every month to them for service but still the product is not functioning at all.When ever you ask for complaint registration they ask that you have to pay Rs 225 as visit charges,which is pinching as consumer and making me irate.Thus need you ntervention as in this year I paid Rs 2000 for repair only .

                                    I have asked for water purifires internal filter with company servising center since last 3 weeks they are not repling when i asked them the reason told to me that they dont have stock they dont have delivery persons for it.

                                    Also this perticular part we have to orderd it form company only.It is monopoly.

                                    We have to pay Extra for part and again for delivery boy also.

                                    the equipment cost is 2400Rs. the pat cost is 350 Rs.

                                    Company delar charges 700 Rs including delivary and additional charges also the product is still in warenty they should actoally charge 150 Rs only or Maximum 350 Rs.

                                    I fully agree... they expect us to buy the water filter and drink so called purified water for 3-6 months.. after that there is no way you can get through the company to replace the filters... how indifferent... May be Hema Malini can help out...

                                    I have one of it and feel disgusted having bought a Kent...
                                    if the company feels like rectifying their image they can write with a solution to [protected]@gmail.com..

                                    I purchased Kent Gold Water Purifier on 27th April 2011. After about three weeks it stopped giving filtered water. After great effort one engineer visited on 01st June and cleaned the cell and he also taught me clean it. After that I had to clean it on every alternative day. But on 14th June it made no effect and from that date it is useless for me. I made a complaint in this regard to one Ms. Shefali in NOIDA (Phone No. [protected]) with complaint no. 6987. Till date nobody visited my house and the purifier is still waste for me. Moreover the behaviour of Ms. Shefali is not good. It seems the Kent is only meant for use of HEMA MALINI. Where are u Dream Girl come and help us out or stop advertising for Kent.

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I have purchased a Kent Ro system on 07/08/2009 through Vasu marketing (Rajkot) and installed at 67, Gulmohar Residency, Sadhuvaswani road, Rajkot. There after due to leakage of bottom valve of the storage tank of the RO system it has been changed two times, but suddenly on 16.03.2010 morning the kent ro is hanging on the wall due to breakage of one of it`s wall mounting socket. I lodge the complain at 8.30 am on the same day to Vasu marketing.

                                      There technician came and inspect and told due to non availibility of stock, the storage tank will be changed on 17.03.2010 as the wall mounting socket is in the sorage tank itself.

                                      Now i got a call from Vasu marketing that i have to pay extra Rs.2500/- for changing the tank.

                                      In this regards i want to say that first of all my machine is within warrenty period and may be due to defective manufacture of product this breakage happen.

                                      Since last two days imy amily could not able to use kent and facing problem for drinking water.

                                      This is for your kind information and necessary action please.

                                        We had purchased the Kent UV water purifier from Agents corner in 2007. The product was installed and had been working without any problem during the warranty but when we wanted to change the filters after one year the Authorized service centre "Hooked" us into an AMC. Normally one does AMC so that he can ensure that he gets Prompt,Proactive Service at a Reasonable Cost. But to Our surprise the Service was Not at all Proactive. WE HAD TO REMIND KAYPEE to do their bi-annual checks and annual replacements ( If found needed). Once our first AMC ended in 2009 the second year we still went in for AMC inspite of almost double (3000Rs as against 1600Rs earlier) AMC charges thinking that at least when reminded we are getting service. But to our surprise the Experience with Kapee in[protected] second year of AMC) was not only pathetic but Horrifying as THEY DID NOT EVEN RESPOND TO OUR REMINDER ABOUT THE MANDATORY SERVICE CHECKS THAT ARE COMMITTED ,

                                        I WANT TO SEND A MESSAGE TO ALL WHO WISH TO BUY KENT WATER PURIFIER IN PUNE AND WISH TO GET SERVICE FROM KAPEE PLEASE NOTE ABOVE AND IF YOU ARE PREPARED FOR SUCH A TREATMENT THEN ONLY BUY KENT

                                        Kent UV water purifier — Pathetic Service

                                        After sales service is very bad and they do not have any escalation matrix to follow, once the customer has purchased the product he doesn't has any other option than facing humiliation from the kent management.
                                        Similar experience. Very poor and pathetic service . Service Engineer collects the money but no receipt is given saying it will be sent by post which never happens. So no guarantee of the parts replaced as we are left with no proof. We are absolutely at the mercy of the service center.

                                        I wish I had not bought the Kent machine and had gone for some other company.
                                        I am strongly agree on this. The service provided in pune is very -very bad. they did not take seriously on any complain. and also quality of service engineer is not good at all.

                                        We have called the customer care atleast 10-12 times for one complain than only they will send person after 4-5 days. This is very serious matter. i would request Kent please take it this very seriously otherwise your product from market will be soon lost.
                                        Same here I am also in trouble because of their services, after 1 month of follow ups and fight they are not giving any helpful resolution.
                                        Only 1 yr before I bought kent, and in this period itself they proved their services to be worst same what I found online. Everyone should buy aquaguard, all my relatives and friends who are using aqua guard are very happy with their promt services.
                                        I want to conduct a campaign where I can save people from buying kent and make that company closed atleast in india. I have already started my bit, I have posted in my company not no buy kent purifier and spreading it at a vast level. Also whenever I am visiting any retail store and I found people buying kent, I am able to convince them not to but it. Please support me by doing the same from your side. This company will never change, so it should be closed forever. Only their advertisements are good, product and services are worst. If it was outside india they would have been sued by this time.

                                        Leakage of water at pump and tap connection

                                        A drip of water coming from Unit as well as tap connected area. which causing inconvenient and geeting wet at kitchen room. matter may be treated as Urgent please.
