I am c k rajan staying in flat no 1a in mughal flats requesting u to do immediate attention for restoring the electricity conne ton in the entire flats as the same has gone from around 7 pm today. Since children's exam going on necy instructions be given to the pullut engineer to restore the same atonce.

      I am living in nilambur, malappuram district, kerala. Here the kseb cut the power supply every day. Today 27 jan 2018 the power gone at 9 am and it will come after 6 pm. When i call nilambur kseb they said that the power will also cut tomorrow morning 9 am to 6 pm. This is very disgustful. We are paying electricity bill but we have to tolerate this kind issues. We fedup with this.in major cities in kerala like kochi the power will not cut. But we are in villages. We need a proper system of electricity. Please kindly take a action against kseb. Thank you

          Sir,
          Sub: complaint regarding an exorbitant short assessment bill levied along with my kseb bill.
          Ref: bill no.0832225 worth rs. 5317/- issued on 27.11.2017
          It is hereby brought to the notice of the hon’ble forum that i am extremely aggrieved to receive a bill from kseb, kollam termed as ‘short assessment bill’ amounting rs. 5317/- along with the normal demand notice (Issued every two-monthly) worth rs.3330/- (Totaling rs. 8, 647/-)
          The above mentioned short assessment amount is not at all on par with our usages. The grievance about the repeated exorbitant bills we received was complained to the asst engineer, kseb kollam in writing during april 2015 &feb 2016. (There records are still in their office). The then asst. Engineer, mr babu, had inspected my home in view of my repeated complaints found out that our domestic connection is not using any gadgets that warrants huge amounts as electricity bills.in view of our repeated greivence for the same he gave instructions to replace the faulty meter and initiated other corrective measures also.

          Thus due to the functioning of a faulty meter and its consequences we were paying huge amounts as bill payment to the kseb for the past couple of years (Refer previous bills)
          Now after two years, the kseb unnecessarly charged us rs.5317 for none of our fault. (Bill details in the foresaid reference) hence i gave a complaint to the asst. Executive engineer on[protected] for which they explained that this amount is due for us as per their audit report.
          The bill clerk displayed a page of that audit report in which this particular amount was mentioned. The calculation of the same was purely under a presumption. Had it been the level of reading when the meter is functioning then the actual amount when the meter is not functioning will be ‘so & so’ this calculation that we might have consumed this much units is ridiculous and these type of assessment kseb is likely to enforce in future was never intimated to the consumer at any point of time all that what the kseb, kollam had done for my recent complaint is that they just granted four instalments to pay that amount. Hence i had made an online payment of rs. 4660/- (Demand notice amounting rs.3330+rs 1330 which is the first installment). Hence i request this honourable forum to waive off the unjustified short assessment bill.

            Iam cheated by kseb. My bill amount for this month is 17000. Average bill amount i used to pay was around[protected]. Huge amount came in this months bill. I have no dues or any bill pending till this month. All family members are affected by kseb due to this fake error bill. Consumer number is[protected]. Kindly help me as son as possible.               In the month of march and april 2016 only we used to 1 ac for 4 hours and the current bill get rises from 800/900 range to 2000. After that months we are very much care to don't use ac and less use of electricity. But bill never came down.
              After the strict control, in the august he bill shows 501. We thought that it's usage came into effect on bill.
              In the month of october billing time i have seen that bill amount 98 and acd 870 and got call from electricity office vattappara that i have to pay 870 then only they can upload bill. So i paid the amount. Next day again i got a message of monthly bill of 1636. So while enquiring with kseb people it came to know that my meter was complaint from the month of june and they are simply charging the previous month charge to me.
              In the month of june kseb is aware of damaged meter and without any information to consumer they are exorbitantly charging and looting the customer.
              It is not a good practice that one month unfortunately consumption goes high and the consumer is forced to pay the high rate for the rest of the month even after less usage and the people's who are following the conservation principle.

                I have a complaint to asst. Engineer, gandhi nagar electrical section, ettumanur, kottayam on 25/08/17 regarding the sub lines to few homes behind my house (Consumer no. 9087), which is approaching to my house sun shade due to related electric post leaned. Subjected lines before was passed my neighboring plot. Now its passing close to my house and is very dangerous situation. After my above complaint one officer visit /inspect and informed it will takeout by fixing some cross bar on electric post within two days but not rectified till now. Kindly do necessary arrangements early as possible regarding the matter.

                    Please find the above details for the web complaint i have raised on kseb web self service website for reference.

                    1. Bill charges was exorbitantly high since april 2016. When we checked now the office mentioned the meter not working since last april, hence they charged the previous month bill throughout. This never informed any one and never came for replacement
                    2. A person coming every time and take the reading and my parents used to pay the amount as per the slip
                    2. My parents (Senior citizens) were living alone at home it always be within the minimum usage units
                    3. As per junior assistant engineer kulanada, almost above one year the digital meter was not working that never informed by the reading person or did any attempt to change that.
                    4. Once we noticed and raised the issue on the complaint section on 11/10/2017, next day the meter is replaced.
                    5. How ever, this month also we received the bill of 1800 rs to pay.

                    I hereby request to consider the above factors and do the necessary to get the justice by reimburse the extra money charged by the department due to its negligence and lack of customer care.

                        I ka abdul jaleel consumer number 21260 aluva west has a complaint regarding payment of my bill. Last date of payment was 16/10/17. I went kseb. Office closed due to hartal. 17/10/17 morning i paid the bill. But when i reached back home they had already taken out the fuse. Without informing. And there were nobody in the house... At night we searched nd got the fuse... I telephoned the office nd the man sitting there telling irresponsibly fuse will be somewhere there... Please take necessary action for the inconvenience we faced.

                          Kseb informed on 14/9/2017 they have not received payment till date
                          Check with the bank they told money has gone from my account for the above stated amount and there is not return recorded here so write a complaint we will check it out.
                          To avoid disconnection and further action from kseb i have paid the full amount by cash at pallikunnu kseb counter rs.5870 vide receipt no. [protected]
                          So i request to refund the online payment back to sbi account

                            My name is ramu c. M. I have a registered account in kseb's online web-portal in the name of my father, m. P. Karunakaran (Consumer number:[protected].

                            On 29/08/2017, i performed an online transaction for bill number:[protected], bill amount: rs. 616/-, dated 25/08/2017 and due on 13/09/2017. The payment was made through sbi net-banking via "techprocess" payment gateway.

                            Unfortunately, following the transaction, i haven't received a payment success confirmation page or confirmation mail from kseb.in the kseb online web-portal, the transaction status still shows "initiated" for the above transaction (Web transaction id:[protected]. Besides, my billing history shows that that the above bill still remains unpaid.

                            However, in my sbi net-banking account summary, the transaction has been shown as "successful" and the same amount of rs. 616/- has been debited from my account (With transaction reference number:[protected]igabxntyj0).

                            Therefore, kindly redress my grievance as to why kseb has not yet acknowledged the online payment which has been deemed successful by the payment agency and the payment gateway.

                                We are a nri and started to construct a house at our native home town chengal, neruvumbrum (Comes under ezhome gram panchayat - kannur (Dist). We would like to enlighten that there are some huge trees adjoining to our boundaries which is originated from my neighbor is becoming a threat to us.                                   Dear sir/madam,
                                  The amt. Of failed transaction of electricity payment of rs.5879/- in bill no.[protected] with consumer no.[protected] made on 12.07.17 has not been refunded to me till date by the kseb authorities. Even after my repeated request mails dtd. 13.6.17, 19.6.17 & 22.6.17 the amount has not been refunded to me till date. Now more than 10 days is over and i am urgent need of the money. I am regularly making the payment of electricity bill by online mode. When the govt. Is pushing forward for a cashless transaction, how can one make a cashless transaction when this is the situation one has to face. Even i will also think a bit before using online transaction considering this type of experience. Request for resolution to my problem urgently.

                                    In my phone i have recieved a massage from dm-ksebit on dated 19.06.2017 at 11.29 am that thanking for using electricity bill payment for amount rs. 780.00 using online payment. Your reciept no. Is[protected]. Your payment will be reflected in next 48 hrs. But i have no any such type of transaction is made. Please se the matter acordingly.

                                      Online payment failure

                                      Sir,

                                      I had made online payment of kseb bill (Bill no.[protected]Consumer no.[protected] on 12th june 2017 for a sum of rs.1, 696.00/- (Transaction number: igablpogg4). The amount got debited from my sbi account. But i did not get a receipt/acknowledgement from kseb site. Transactionstatus fail. i kindly request you to the amount paid by me back to my account.

                                        I am writing this letter with reference to my previous letter stating misrepresentation observed in kseb bill no[protected] dated[protected] and events that occurred later. After me taking the matter voluntarily to kseb office to enquire about the matter, i had a bitter experience with the senior superintendent, kseb beach section who oversees the billing. He refused to cooperate and help to resolve the matter, instead he kept on proclaiming that he had not send for any arrears to anyone under the section thus leaving me no option but to silently leave the office.

                                        In kseb demand/disconnection notice the have split they total amount as electricity charges –rs 2117, arrears-rs.1086 and surcharge –rs.64. I have already paid the electricity charges of rs.2117. As of 15-june-2017, when i checked my current payment of electricity charges of rs.2117 on kseb website, i am disappointed to observe that my payment was again split as arrear charges of rs 1150 and electricity charges of rs.967 without any information.in the website they show pending charges on electricity as rs.1150. I doubt their intention as to threaten me and compel me to pay their baseless arrear charges which they have not yet justified. I doubt whether they go for a disconnection by doing such manipulation towards payment and force me to pay what they call arrear. I would like to know how arrear arise all of a sudden out of nowhere when you have paid all the bills on time. No one can accept baseless charges when it appear one fine morning without revealing its source.

                                        I would like to inform that i am a retired ailing person and not a techie to browse all these information online. I have taken my son s help in getting suitable information from kseb website online. I also take this opportunity to inform that i am not financially sound to pay any advances as done by kseb before for april 2016 bill payment. It’s disappointing that a consumer is not made aware of how his hard earned money is utilised during bill payment. I like to represent all those consumers who are exploited in similar manner.

                                        I beg your attention to protect the rights of consumer and help a loyal consumer who has never defaulted reasonably. I humbly request you to investigate the matter in detail and produce a prompt solution asap. I also request you to extend the disconnection date for a convenient period till the matter is resolved, having paid all the charge of electricity till date as per electricity act 2003, section 56.
