KOLKATA TELEPHONES — Dead Land Line telephone

Dear Sir / Madam,

(1) MY BSNL LANDLINE NO :[protected] IS TOTALLY DEAD SINCE 4/7/2020, VIDE DOCKET NO-[protected], DATED 4/7/2020. AFTER TWO DAYS SOME BROKEN RINGS WERE HEARD AND I GOT A MESSAGE IN MY MOBILE THAT THE TELEPHONE IS WORKING BUT IN FACT THAT REMAINED DEAD.

(2) THEN I REGISTERED MY COMPLAINT AGAIN vide my Second Complaint No: [protected] ...Reported resolved but still remained dead.

(3) Then I registered my Third complaint, vide Docket No-[protected], Dt: 10/7/2020 ...Yet to get confirmation of having been attended.

(4) I frantically lodged my complaint in a BSNL portal further vide my Docket Number : BSNL/HQ/2020/EM-64209, dated :[protected]. But nothing has been done and the telephone[protected] remains dead till date.

Now comes the tricky part of Billing for this DEAD telephone. I have been informed in a message in my mobile 9/8/2020 that "...Landline Bill against BSNL Account No-[protected] has been billed with Rs 352 on 6-AUG-20 and the due date is 27-Aug-20...". Now I am afraid that this much false bill amount will be deducted from my Bank Account as I have ECS payment system for this bill. This must be stopped.

I HAVE REACHED THE EXTREME LEVEL OF MY PATIENCE AND REQUEST YOU THAT IF YOU CAN’T REPAIR THE PHONE PLEASE ARRANGE TO SURRENDER MY PHONE SO THAT I AS A SENIOR CITIZEN NEED NOT PAY ITS MONTHLY FALSE BILL CHARGES FOR NONE OF MY USE AND REFUND ME ANY AMOUNT DEDUCTED AS BILL. YOUR CONFIRMATION IN THIS REGARDS WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED.
