[Resolved] KSRTC — KSRTC Bus left without taking me (MALE AGE 65 during night time at unknown place) for Journey
I had booked ticket for journey on[protected] from Kasargod to Bengaluru for the purpose of attending some doctor/hospital. Journey was fixed on[protected] at 20:30 hours. PNR number 47257260. I was at bus stop as mentioned in the journey ticket well within the time for starting the journey. My mobile number [protected] was furnished in the ticket. The KSRTC neither sent SMS regarding bus number & crew details nor conductor/driver didn't contact me. I was left alone at bus stand during night time for about 2hours and there after i had to travel by a taxi to bengaluru by payment of absorbent amount. Please note that, i am 66year old senior citizen having no good health. I was put to lot of tension, mental agony & irrepairable loss. As a result i had to spend more than Rs. 15000 for immediate return to bengaluru. The crew members of the bus didn't have basic courtesy of contacting me when they had my mobile number. To my surprise, I received Journey details (trip code, bus number, crew contact details) via SMS only on next day. I received SMS on[protected] at 20:22 which was suppose to be sent on[protected] one hour before the journey scheduled for 20:30 hours, which reflect the matter was not properly attended at the right time at your office. I hear by request you to pay me the compensation of Rs.25000 immediately by way of DD to following address address - K.S.Bhagwath 37/9, Ganga Nilaya 20th main Road, 2nd cross Marenahalli, Vijayanagara Bengaluru -560040 Thanking you, K.S.Bhagwath Was this information helpful?

Verified Support Feb 07, 2015 Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation [KSRTC] Customer Care's response Sir,
The complaint taken up and investigation done in respect of the said conductor. Since the conductor suffered heart attack and is on leave, the delay may please be condoned.( Tripcode 2045KSGBNG, SEAT NO:3 DOJ 17/12/2014 PASSENGER Mr.K. Surendra Bhagwath (complaintant))
The said conductor(in hospital) was questioned regarding the complaint, he has stated that he has called the complaintant passenger over his mobile, the complaintant has also replied but after sometime when tried again and again, the mobile was switched off. The conductor has tried totally three times. The schedule supposed to depart from Kasargod at 20:30 hrs waited for another 10 minutes and departed at 20:50 hrs. But on the way to Puttur, around 25 kms from Kasargod, the complainant called to the conductor mobile stating that he was left over at Kasargod. The conductor expressed his helplessness and asked the complaintant to come to the place where the bus has stranded near Perla. But the complaintant was unwilling, for which, the conductor has continued his trip to Bangalore.
On verifing the documents, the Traffic Controller at Kasargod has despatched the bus at 20:50 hrs and has passed remarks of the not travelled passenger.
Still, we regret for the inconvience caused to you for the no cause of the conductor.
Thanking you for patronising the services and feedback. And, it is requested to drop the matter further.
Regards,
Awatar support.

Your letter (ka ra sa: keka: no awatar 78-2/647 | date 5 Feb 2015)
On recept of the above letter, AIRTEL officer for due verification of the fact mentioned in your above letter
On verification, it is confirmed that, during the time mentioned in your above letter have not received any message from any service provider or from any mobile. MY MOBILE WAS VERY MUCH ACTIVE at the time and also there was no network problem.
Airtel office also comfirmed that they have not received any 'DEAD' message back to their pool.
Now I want to bring above facts to Sri. Dr. Srinivas, secretary to honourable minister for transport Sri Ramalinga Reddy.
Thus far, i have already undergone so much of hardship from your negligence and false facts.
Now to seek gustice for my complaint, the matter will be taken to consumer dispute court for it's logical end at your own cost and enhancement of compensation amount.
From your enquiry sheet (which is mentioned in above reply) it is found that, I have called the conductor after 25KMs journey, it is something paradoxial, because I received crew mobile number only on 18 Dec2014 at 8:20pm.
I will wait for 15days from the date of this letter to receive componsation.
Thanking you,
Your faithfully,
K.S.Bhagwath
