KVPY — My scholarship was stopped as i was unable to appear for one semester because i had an accident. | |||||
Respected sir, Pardon me if my language sounds rude but these are the words of a man with dignity who is forced by the system to live a life of a scrounger. one accident caused a hard working sincere and above all a student who has cgpa 7+ to loose his scholarship. and forces him to leach on his parents and friends and relatives for rest of his graduation and pass out from the college with already a huge debt on his shoulders and no job opportunity at hand. my courtesy and faith on administration and dean of my institute (niser) kept me quite till now. but now when it is time for me to apear for various exams like net, gate, icmr which on an average costs 1000 inr and gre, toefel which cost more than 10, 000 rupees each i am left with bare hands to cover my eyes when i cry looking at my dark future and all because some person hit me on the road with his car when i was on my bicycle which broke my hand. due to this i had to drop one semester as my college wont provide a scribe and my hand was under plaster cast until mid-semester examination of the following semester, i also wrote a few exams with my left hand being a right handed person. all this eventually resulted in a downfall in my performance, which i have improved considerably with time and it had been satisfying all criteria put forth for receiving the scholarship. I have written many mails and applications to request renewal of my kvpy scholarship enrollment id sb 1111209. i have begged for consideration and mercy from the authorities to help me come out of my insolvency once and again. but all my efforts for last 2 years seem to be in vain. I chose science (niser) as my career option despite of clearing exams like iit - jee, aieee (air-5196), so that i can serve my nation and make contributions to best of my capability in realm of scientific innovation and development. i do not regret my decision, i am still motivated to continue, but is it possible without "money"? you must be aware that also banks are reluctant to provide loans to msc. students as we do not have a job security. After failure of endless efforts with dean of my institute and kvpy authorities i write this mail to you as you are the last resort, i earnestly request you to please look into this matter and help renew my scholarship retrospectively. i hope you will help a striving and well deserving student. Sir I have filled all the columns of the page for appearing KVPY-2017 but uploading of photo and signature is not shown in the form, even in the registration print out my photo and signature has not come. kindly advise.
