Headline: Lenovo Is a bunch of scammers in the name of Warranty
My monitor got a dead pixel spot and flickering backlight after 2 years o[censored]se, the monitor was mounted on a Vesa mount on the wall for all this time without being moved. and yet it developed an issue
the monitor is still in warranty.
Now when i called them up as a service request, Lenovo says that the backlight issue and dead pixel issue were my fault and thus cannot claim warranty.
the monitor wasn't moved or handled for two years as it was mounted on a wall. how can it be my fault for this to occur?
i got a Lenovo ThinkPad and a monitor and many other Lenovo appliances, but looking at this response, this company disgusts me now, and i am afraid my other appliances will also be handled the same way.
