Lenovo — Error in phone's Firmware update

I have a Lenovo Smartphone i.e Lenovo S660, I updated its firmware recently.But the latest firmware had some error in it, after the firmware package was installed, in the end it gave an error after which my phone's Wi-Fi is not getting connected to any wireless modem. I went to Lenovo Service Centre(S.G Infotech) located in Thakkar Shopping Mall, Borivali (W) and told them about my problem. The Service centre guys told me that I need to submit my phone for 15 days, they will diagnose my phone if the problem is not solved they will replace my motherboard. I asked them why do they need to replace the hardware for a software error, I asked them to downgrade my phone's firmware to which they said that is not possible. They also told me that if there is any kind of liquid damage on the Motheboard then it wont be covered under warranty. In case if there is any liquid damage on the phone I will have to pay the charges. I told them that the Software error is from Company's end due to which i am facing problems, so why should i pay for the motherboard. After the update my Wi-Fi is not working properly.
