Lenovo — faulty screen, international warranty denied | |||
Given my laptop for service due to a faulty screen. 1. From the begin the local service team reluctant to take my laptop with international warranty. What is the point in making customers buy iws. 2. The local team suggested me to send the laptop to the us where the laptop was purchased which did not make any sense if it was supported in the us then with international warranty it is supported here as well as per the warranty policy. 3. The lenovo india customer care said the denial of service was not because of the laptop origin and because it did not cover 5-pixel size, the fault is as big as my thumb. 4. Then the customer care called back and mentioned as the billed is not provided the service was denied. 5. The lenovo india customer care provided horrible service with many issues. A) even after one week no solution b) giving new reasons for denial to dodge service. C) response emails were delayed and the case was shifted to a total of 3 people the reps are really not interested to find a solution and making the customer run around. D) i was promised a callback and canceled work schedule expecting a call, which was not provided, they don't have the common courtesy to provide what is promised. 6. Even after proper maintenance with zero external and internal damage, this fault occurred, the product is incorrectly marketed as military grade durability, Was this information helpful? | |||
