Lenovo — fingerprint not working

I am owning vibe k5 note for more than a month now. Out of sudden, the phone got hung at notifications screen. After that when i restarted it, the fingerprint reader doesn't allow me to unlock the phone. It displays a message "fingerprint hardware not available".

I have tried restarting phone, but it didn't help. What could be the solution to it.

Mouse pad is not working properly. And sometimes it is totally workless.it is only 2 months from purchasing date.so, plesase put a glance on it.
