Lenovo — Ideapad S145

While the unit was in warranty (SN PF1Q3MAK) and case# [protected] it began typing a continuous forward slash. Called it in the unit was sent to Lenovo. It was returned about 3 weeks later. It worked fine for about a month and now have the same issue. It is unusable. I called it again 1-18-21. I was informed I it was out of warranty and I have no recourse. When it was sent the first time it was in warranty, now I’m told that they can’t issue a repair ticket for an expired warranty. Since it was in warranty then and it wasn’t repaired properly or it is defective. I have a Lenovo tablet, that I like, which was the reason to buy the laptop. I am very disappointed with Lenovo. It doesn’t back up its product and treats customers, particularly during the pandemic, unfairly. Replace the unit at your cost and do what’s right.
