I purchased my Lenovo laptop little over a year ago and when I relocated to the US Virgin Island within 2 months the screen went black. I was told I needed to return it to Atlanta, Georgia, which I did. I sent it to my nephew who informed me that the warranty had expired. I sent the fund to him to order a 1 year warranty. He then called me back and informed me that an additional 22.00 is charged to reinstate my warranty. I sent him the funds and I called Lenovo on August 19th and spoke with several individuals who stated in order for me to purchase the warranty, , I needed to also pay a reinstatement fee. Unbelievable!!! Your laptop that doesn’t work, I should pay for reinstatement of the warranty? Absolutely not!!! I asked for a refund and I am filing a complaint because I don’t believe I should pay a reinstatement fee in order to purchase a warranty. I’m going to file a consumer complaint with Better Business Bureau to let them know what unfair practices this organization is doing to the consumers. Was this information helpful? |
